A reddish hue colored the evening sky as the sun slowly set behind the rocky mountains of the territory. A seemingly solitary figure traveled slowly, yet nimbly from rock to rock. His paws, both black and white, passed over the terrain with ease, long claws gripping the stone only when necessary. A dark grey pelt covered the majority of his lean, yet sturdy frame.
However, one feature stood out from him, which so gave him his name. A pair of icy, silverblue eyes glinted as they looked on into the fading light. These eyes has a permanently sharp, jagged look to them, as if they could slice with a single glance. FrostEye.
What he was doing in this territory he wasn't exactly sure about. It seemed fitting enough, and the lack of tree cover didn't seem to bother him. Throughout his life he had to adapt to a variety of habitats, so this particular one was nothing new to him. He paused atop a small boulder, his tattered ears pricked as he scanned the area about him, tail waving fluidly from side to side.

Featherstar pricked her ears. She heard, and could now smell, cat. A tom. She then saw the lone figure in the distance. A shiver of excitement ran up her spine. This could mean more warriors for her Clan. She trotted over to the loner and introduced herself.
Hello loner, I am Featherstar, leader of this territory. Might I ask what you are doing here? If you are looking for a Clan to join you would be welcome here. She sat down and looked over the other cat. He looked like he would make a formidable warrior if he joined the Clan. She hoped he would accept her offer. Right now her Clan needed warriors. Featherstar blinked her green eyes and she waited for his answer.

Exactly when he became aware of Featherstar's presence was unknown to all except himself. As she approached his posture and expression hardly flickered, and he remained standing, still as stone. Only his cold, sapphire eyes followed her every movement until she stopped before him.
At her introduction he simply nodded; a slight, subtle movement. Even the air around him seemed to grow still, surrounding him with a silent, motionless void. Greetings, Featherstar. Came his chilling vocals, nearly as icy as his gaze. A clan to join, you say? He paused for a moment, the corners of his mouth seeming to draw back ever so slightly in what may have been considered a smile, though it held little warmth. That would depend, of course, on what would be in it for me. You don't seem to have any Warriors at your side...Perhaps an offer of power would entice me a bit more? He said softly. If she had no followers yet, then he would be more than happy to join if he had a share of the leadership, for he was not one to submit when she did not appear to have any defenses.

Featherstar raised an eyebrow. You impress me rouge. You stand up to a leader. I think deputy of the Clan would be a good positon for you in the Clan. How's that for an incentive? She flicked her tail. This cat would be powerful and that would be good for the Clan. This cat would be a powerful warrior, full of ambition. But first I must know your name. What do you go by?Featherstar had some more speaking to do but first she wanted his answer. (OOC Good job. That was a good post. )

(^-^ Heh, thankee!)
What could be considered a smirk flickered upon his feline face, his cold blue eyes never leaving her form. Deputy, second only to the leader herself. He supposed it was the best he could get, as he could not (at the moment) take her place as leader of the Clan. But no matter, that did not concern him much at the moment. He gave her a smile. Incentive enough for me. He said quietly, calmly, emotionlessly. At her question he paused for a moment, the reason for this unknown. You may call me FrostEye. He followed in similar tones, pausing and watching her, for he felt that she had more to say.

At her last comment a seemingly hurtful look flickered in his eyes as he slowly followed after her, his tail waving behind him. My dear, I would never dream of such a thing. He said softly, continuing to watch her with a calmly flickering gaze, like the surface of a lake blown by a faint wind. He followed in the manner he had traveled before, leaping from rock to rock, never once faltering in his steps. His face was empty, emotionless, his thoughts hidden from all but himself.
