Just a little rest...

[Brighteye]

Brighteye padded on, despite her all encopassing weariness. The sky was blue and merry, but she barey noticed it. It had been a long time since she rested. Suddenly, she spottedjust what she needed. A slab of stone, with sunlight streaming down upon it. Just the place for a rest, she thought. I'll bet it's nice and warm and... She stopped, catching a whiff of a scent marker. The lovely rock was just inside the border. Brighteye sat and debated with her self for a while but finally decided that tresspassing was not the way she wanted to start out with the locals. She settled down to wait for some cat to come, but fell asleep instead.

[Featherstar]

Featherstar looked across her territory and saw a cat laying on what looked like the edge. She padded over to inquire about the feline's reason for trespassing when she stopped. This cat wasn't actually intruding, she was just outside the border. Featherstar's trained eyes could see the invisible line that marked the end of StoneClan territory and led to the Rouge Meadow. But still, she prodded the sleeping she-cat with a dainty paw, Hello there. Might I ask what you are doing?

[Brighteye]

Brighteye was startled awake. She blinked blearily at the cat standing above her. I might be taking a nap ma'am, she said, breaking into a huge grin. How long had it been since she'd seen another cat? She locked eyes with the stranger she-cat, and decided she was trustworthy. Is this your territory?

[Featherstar]

Featherstar smiled slightly at the she-cat's response. Actually, no. Featherstar admitted. Do you see this line? Featherstar traced the invisible line with her paw, That is the beginning of my territory. StoneClan territory. I am Featherstar, the leader of StoneClan.

[Brighteye]

Stoneclan? Sounds interesting. Mind if I look around? Stay awile? Er, I mean.. If it pleases you, Miss Feartherstar ma'am. Brighteye tried to mask her excitement. She hoped she would be able to stay longer. To have a home! She hadn't come close to having one since the Bond of Secret Caves in the North... No! she thought furiously. Never! I will never think of him again! Not ever! Instead she put a smile on her face, a little weaker, but no less sincere. So whadda you say?

[Featherstar]

If you'd like a home in StoneClan, you are welcome. Featherstar turned toward the camp and began walking. Then she turned around and laughed, But first you'll have to step across the line!

Okay then! I would love to join up with your clan. said Brighteye. Away we go! She made an exaggerated step over the boundary line and followed Featherstar.
