leopardpelt walked among the dew covered grass, she hated to get wet and shook the water from her pelt, she gave a long sigh and she continued walking through wet grass, she was relieved when the grass gave way to stone. She looked around and smelt the cool air, she could smell other cats and some prey but she was to tired to hunt and the cat scent was stale. so she curled up behind a large rock and fell asleep, happy to be out of the wet grass.

When Featherstar saw the bundle of fur next to the rock she was surprised. she hadn't expected to find anyone out here. She padded over and could hear the she-cat's gentle breathing. she prodded her with her paw and inquired, Who are you and what is your business on StoneClan territory?

Leopardpelt opened her eyes to see another cat looking at her, she jumped up surprised. "I'm just a traveler looking for a home, i mean no harm." she said while the fur on her neck began to stand on end.

As Featherstar saw the hair on the feline's neck rise she almost chuckled, Fear not, I mean you no harm. A home, you say? Would you be interested in coming to live in StoneClan? I am Featherstar, the leader of StoneClan, on whose territory you now stand.

Leopardpelt's fur began to lay back down and she relaxed she sat down a neatly curled her tail around her front paws. she had heard about these clans before but never thought she be apart of one, she wanted a home again and she was beginning to realize she would never see her old one again, so she replied "yes, if i am welcome i would like to come join you in your StoneClan."

That's good. But first I must know your name. And do you have any fighting skills? It will help me determine whether or not you can become a full fledged warrior or apprentice. Apprentices aren't bad, don't worry, they just need to learn how to fight as a proud StoneClan warrior. Featherstar smiled, hoping to reassure the she-cat. //Sorry for stinky posting. Leopardpelt smiled "thank you, my name is Leopardpelt, i was one of the best fighters in my old home even though i was still small, although i haven't been tested in a very long time. But i promise i will be loyal to your clan and do what ever i can to help it." She said dipping her head slightly. // its ok we all have times like that  |

That's good. Well, Leopardpelt, in that case, what do you say I take you to the camp? You can meet and become acquainted with the other warriors there. Featherstar turned and walked away slowly, having full confidence that Leopardpelt would follow her back to the camp.

Leopardpelt stood up and began to fallow Featherstar to her clan, she was very exited and couldn't wait to get there.
