…off to work Photomortem goes. Heehehe. The young tom didn’t really notice he had crossed a border (or two, or three even!) in his wild search for his sister. This place, the valley he had found himself, was totally different from their homeland. But Wutaiclan was in such a desolate, destitute state after its defeat by Junonclan, and memories of the war and his own imprisonment as a POW caused the tortie tom to shiver. Memories were memories, and it was impossible for a cat to change the past. He had to live on, for the future, and think of the good things. A smile appeared on his face, as easy-going as Photomortem was himself. Now…where in the blue moon could Ninjaheart be? Twitch. He was in a clearing, tall trees all around and about him. If he listened closely, he could hear the sounds of trickling water…a river, maybe? If he had the time, he would go check it out, but there was something he had to do first. “Ninjaheart!” He called as loudly as he could, half expecting the little orange she-cat to suddenly pop out of nowhere at him and chatter on and on. Although he had calmed a lot from the rambunctious kit he had been, Ninjaheart hadn’t changed any, and still remain a kit at heart. But she was loyal, having left the clan and their entire world to seek something to assist them as they rebuilt.
He didn’t even know if she still lived. Photomortem had followed Ninjaheart’s scent for days and days and days, but had lost it right before he entered this valley. There had been another scent there too for the longest time, that of another tom, and he wondered if that was the reason that his sister hadn’t immediately return. But his sister wasn’t the kind of she-cat to go off mooning after toms like so many of the ones were back home, and he shooed off that thought as ridiculous. There was no answer, no silly little Ninjaheart appearing, and the brother sat down with a sigh. What was he going to do now?
