[Lucky]

Lucky had just finished giving Takumi an English lesson and had come here to hunt. But right at that moment, she was too tired. Her ears twitched as she heard prey, but all she could muster is to climb up on a slab of rock and sunbath...

[Takumi]

[glow=brown,5,500]Takumi, his brain buzzing with learning something new, wasn't tired. He was rather excited, actually, though he composed it well behind a faintly twitching tail. He could tell that Lucky wasn't into the hunt she had prescribed though, and as she found a comfortable position on the rock to sunbath, Takumi stood idly for a moment, before deciding he'd hunt by himself.

Rounding the rock, Takumi scaled a tree with ease, and began to walk along the lowest branch, scanning up and down for some unsuspecting prey. Once he saw a little mouse, too busy far down below to pay much attention to the danger above. Takumi measured, double measured, then dropped, falling onto the furry creature quicker then you can say mousecat. Picking up the mouse, he padded to the golden she-cat and lightly placed it in front of her, so he wouldn't wake her, before he began to turn to hunt for himself.[/glow]

[Lucky]

The smell of mouse wafted into Lucky's nose until she jolted awake. She mouth watered with hunger, and she sat up, tail twitching lightly. She looked to Takumi and nodded her thanks to him, before bending over to nibble at the mouse.

"Takumi!" she called. "Come over please. Let us talk if we may?" She sat there waiting a bit. She would give him a chance to hunt first (if she hadn't scared the prey off)...

[Takumi]

[glow=brown,5,500]Takumi acknowledged her with a flick of his tail, before he dispersed into the surrounding undergrowth. It didn't take long, or too far, before Takumi saw a finch plucking away at the ground. With stealth, he approached the bird, pounced, and killed it with a bite to it's neck. He carried the prey back to the rock were Lucky was, the orange tendrils flapping as he moved. Before long, he jumped up on the rock, and accompanied her while he ate. Listening for what she wanted to talk about.[/glow]

[Lucky]

Lucky everted Tukami's gaze quickly. Her eyes watered sadly, wondering if she was ready to tell him what she had wanted to for a while. Turning back to him, the golden tabby stared into the siamese's gaze.

"Takumi..." she stopped, her tail twitched and her paws quivered with nervousness, "I really haven't known you for long, but I... I... I... I love you..."

After this, Lucky everted Takumi's gaze again, but this time, she didn't look back, hoping her wouldn't hate her for what she had just said.

A Empress to-be loving a mere Army General? Some might say, "Shouldn't she love an Emperor or a Prince?" But Lucky did not, the golden tabby loved Takumi and no one else...

[Takumi]

[glow=brown,5,500]Takumi was, of course, taken by surprise by this news, and no samurai training could ever prepare him for what his ears had to hear... Thus, his expressions of devout surprise were fully contributed to the affair. In due process swallowing a bit of bird not fully chewed, which ran roughly down his throat like old bones. Wiping his tongue across his lips, he forced to sooth down his fur, which had bristled uncontrolably by the unexpected news.[/glow]

"*This... This is unexpected, Lucky. I... I... I don't know what to say. Perhaps..."

[glow=brown,5,500]He took a deep breath, to steady himself, shutting his eyes to recollect his impassive nature, before continuing.[/glow]

"*I will not say any more. We will see where time brings us."

[glow=brown,5,500]With that, the tom cat finished his meal as coolly as he could. Once finished, he stood, waiting for Lucky to do the same before they would head back to camp.[/glow]

[Lucky]

Lucky nodded.

"We shall see, just know how I feel... about you."

The golden tabby stood up. Her pink eyes blinked at Takumi shyly. Her tail swished happily, her green band waving a "love is in the air" warning.

She padded next to the General, letting her pelt touch his, just a bristle. After a while, she let walked a little closer to him, until she could feel the warmth of his body. She tensed a bit, then relaxed. It wasn't too bad...

And though I was nervous, I feel good for expressing my feelings towards this Siamese...
