Sunpelt slunk along the Treeclan border. His senses alert for any sign of intruders. His golden pelt twitched with annoyance at the frequency strange cats had been capable of entering the Treeclan camp, and he wasn't the only one. Shortly after the return of their leader and the new warriors, Blackheart had taken out a patrol, Sunpelt among their number. The other warrior was along the border, scent-marking along with the deputy and senior warrior. Sunpelt could smell his clanmates close by, prey nearer still... but no foreigners. Sunpelt was pleased as he closed his mouth and sprayed a nearby tree along the TreeClan border. This alone didn't keep other from crossing, but it does make them think twice now that the border marks have been refreshed.

((I'm not Blackheart or first warrior, but I needed to get this lil' plot into here. ^^
The soft whisps gently blew in the breeze. Weather was nice, but then again.. Calm before the storm. As suddenly as they had set out, there was a pause in the wind, almost anticipating what was about to happen...
A white blur burst through the thicket between two narrow trees, eyes frantic and fearful and her fur on end to make her appear twice her original size, despite the fact she was already a fairly large cat and longhaired. Her blue eyes gaze innocently at them, and she carried no clan or rogue scent. Despite not having a recognizable scent on her, she seemed to recognize the trio's.
"Treeclan.. Amberstar!! Where's Amberstar?! They're gone.. I need to tell them that they're gone!" She howled frantically at them, eyes widening in panic. "They left.. They escaped! I only turned my back for a minute!" She howled in grief, at them. If they didn't get it, she certainly didn't seem to mind or care. She trembled, but lowered her voice. "Please.. Take me to Amberstar. I am no foe, I am a friend. Amberstar needs to know, this is important..." She said shakily to Sunpelt, her eyes turning on him.
((I'll do a bio for this new charrie later. For now, you have to sit and guess and what she's talking about and who she is. ^^))

Teppobeat usually missed everything. But today, he finally saw something firsthand. Unfortunately, it was not aliens.
But still.
He looked up from the old badger set he had been investigating, to see a desperate looking she-cat tappealing to Sunpelt. He charged up next to the senior warrior, trying to determine whether or not she was a threat. Her worried nature, coupled with her claim of friendliness and apparent knowledge of TreeClan and Amberstar, left him confused as to whether he should comfort or confront her. He stopped short, uncertain, his fur bushed out slightly. "Who are you, how do you know Amberstar, and," a slight glint came to his eye, imagining some dangerous criminal, "who escaped?"

Even after all this preperation, Sunpelt still wasn't aware of the other cat till she had come into their mists. His golden pelt was ruffled at this, for more then one reason, but he kept his cool and watched the white she warily as she spoke to them, as if they should be aware of her friendship to Amberstar. Honest to goodness, Sunpelt didn't know this cat, he would swear by his warrior ancestors in StarClan that he hadn't.
Teppobeat's ruffled fur lightly brushed his own as the young warrior took a defensive position at his shoulder. Sunpelt turned to look at the warrior, for he had spoken, and since the word was up, as was the she-cat's, Sunpelt did the same."Easy, She-cat. he crooned, "Blackheart!" He yowled, calling for his deputy, for he should know of this she-cat... Hopefully.

Burning bright, demon of the night.
The large, older tom ghosted into the area at the merest shout of his name, yellow hues on Sunpelt for a long moment before he considered the queen. He carried a large rabbit dangling from his jaws, which he dropped at his paws before speaking, finally.
“Who might you be? Why do you seek our leader?”
His voice was completely passive, no emotion to be read within as he settled, tail flicking every so often, ears trained forward to listen to the she-cat intently.
Something was up.
He demanded to know what.

She looked ready to say something, to blurt it outloud into their faces, but she froze in shock and fear. "I.. She wished me not to say.. It's for her's and the clan's sake, she said. Please, just take me to her!" She said, panicing now. She HAD to tell her! They had to let her through TO tell her.
Oh, she started breathing heavily, trembling.
"It's alright, Blackheart. She tells the truth," came the soft voice behind them, eyes narrowing in contemplation. "Westwind, you are a long ways from home.. Where is...?" She stopped, but was saved the trouble of continuing as the white she-cat exploded. "They're GONE! They've escaped!!" She wailed loudly, teeth parted sadly. Amberstar seemed to choke on her words.
"Very well, come, explain to me in my den. Continue your patrol, Blackheart, Sunpelt, you've done well.
... And don't worry, Blackheart, she won't cause me harm.
.. She's my sister.."
With that she walked off, but the bright light in her eyes, the spark that had finally ignited in her eyes from when she'd returned, had diminished again as she stalked away, the long-haired white she trailing behind.

It wasn't long before Blackheart joined their group, the reason why he hadn't scented her was carried between his jaws. Sunpelt looked away from the black deputy, to the white she-cat who trembled before them. Blackheart did his own questioning, recieving no better results then before, until an unexpected visit from Amberstar, alerted by the warrior by her scent, came upon them. Though she did not give them any more direct answers, what was given was appeasing enough to the warrior, but not so much as to quench his curiousity.
He watched Amberstar disappear into the undergrowth, her sister behind her, before turning back to Blackheart, a steady blink to acknowledge the orders he expected from the level-headed deputy, before turning to finish what they had set out to do.
