Lucky walked into the deepest of the woods, her head held high. There really wasn't much reason why she couldn't train her "Apprentice" near the camp, but she wanted to be in a spot where they wouldn't be disterbed. Sitting down, the golden she-cat spoke.
"Come Takumi," she said sweetly, "Ž„‚Ì‘O‚É‚±‚±‚É¿‚邱‚Æ‚ª‚Å‚«‚éB Ž„’B‚͉pŒê‚ÌŠî–{Œ´‘¥‚©‚çŽn‚Ü‚éB"
Ooc: You may sit here in front of me. We shall start with the basics of the English language.

[glow=brown,5,500] The siamese tom followed after the golden she-cat with the cloth bound tail. His own cloth bound head was lean, with a muzzle and ears that didn\'t seem to fit the smaller skull. Even so, he was a striking tom, in a foreign kind of way. His lithe bod carried him well, which was distinctly different from the usual broad shouldered cats he knew. The she-cat he followed was a bit similar in build, but was a more \'commonly\' built cat, lacking the sharp features of the tom she led. Even so, the tom found her attractive, but he was well schooled, and he didn\'t show it, nor allow him to be distracted because of it. What did distract him, though, is why they had to travel so far from camp... Whatever the reason, he came here to learn the language of the natives here, and thus, he assumed, that was the only reason.
The golden she-cat sat down, inviting the tom to do so in a fashion that would allow the duet to see each other\'s face clearly. He consented, and sat in front of her, his tail curling around his paws courtly, as he would in the presence of his own emperor.[/glow] \"ŽŸ‚ÉŽ„’B‚ɂ‚¢‚Ä‚ ‚È‚½‚©‚ç‚¢‚©‚ÉŽn‚ß‚È‚³‚¢‚©AƒŒƒbƒXƒ“ʼn‚ÉŽ¦‚¹‚ÎB\"* *How about we start with you name first, and then the lessons.

Lucky nodded. "Ok. * Ž„‚Ì–¼‘O‚ÍK‰^‚Å‚ ‚éB In English it's Lucky. ** ‚»‚ê‚ðŒ¾‚¢‚È‚³‚¢: Lu-ckeee."
The golden tabby knew she wasn't right for this job. She wasn't an English teacher! But who was going to teach Takumi English if no other cat could speak - or understand for that matter - Japanese? She couldn't be translating for him all her life if she wanted to have a real relationship with him! Teaching the siamese English was the only way...
Ooc: * In Japanese my name is (insert Japanese name of Lucky).
** Say it:

[glow=brown,5,500] Takumi smiled, a bit amused at the way she was going at this task. He wasn\'t a kit, and he was quick at learning... but he decided to humor her anyway.[/glow] Luh-kee. Luh-kee. Luhkey,Luhky, Luhcky. ‚»‚ê‚͉E‚Å‚ ‚é‚©B*\" *Is that right?

Lucky smiled. "‚»‚ê‚ÍŽÀÛ‚É‚æ‚©‚Á‚½(‚ ‚È‚½‚̉‚ß‚Ä‚Ì‚½‚ß‚É)! Ž„‚ªc‚à‚Á‚Æ‹³‚¦‚éŠÔA‚¿‚傤‚Ç‚»‚ê‚ð‚»‚Ì•û–@‚Í¡‚Ì‚Æ‚±‚ë•Û‚Â" Her tail thumped the ground happily, her band making a WHIP!, THRASH! sound as it hit the ground. And the golden she-cat continued her teachings...
Ooc: That was really good (for your first time)! Let's just keep it that way for now while I teach you more...
I was expecting this to be a short thread really. Can we just say that Takumi learned enough to communicate a little this first time? Just little phrases like "Hello, Goodbye", "Thank you, your welcome", "What's going on, I dont' understand", and "Where do you do your buissness?"

[glow=brown,5,500] Takumi listened intently, overly large ears for his small siamese head coming in handy at the moment. Alert and poised, as each phrase was said, explained, and then repeated to him, he duplicated it right back, using the best english he could, since his tongue was used to speaking in Japanese.[/glow]"Hhelo. Goohbye. Thank youh. Yhour wehlcohm. What's gohing ohn? Ih dohn't undherstahnd? Ahnd where doh youh doh yhour beznuss?"
