Amberstar led the way out the main camp, flicking for the two newly made warriors to follow.
It was there last hunting ceremony, to be shared with the leader herself. Besides, they could use all the stock they could get for those to stay behind could simply take from the stash.
She turned her head, glowing eyes upon the prey soon to show themselves to her twitching ears. ((I can't.. Think..  ))

Onyx arrived on the heels of her leader, slowing from a trot to a walk, and then stopping. She stood next to Amberstar, near her shoulder, not making a sound, with her ears flicked forward to catch the slightest hint of sound.
There was a sight noise nearby on the right- Onyx's eyes shifted that way, but it was a leaf. Pffff, leaves. Always getting in the way.

Mapleheart remembered one occurence when he had been out hunting. It had been the last time he'd seen the deserting warrior, Goldenblaze. It seemed such a long time ago, now! Vaguely, Maple wondered where Goldenblaze was, and what he could be up to.
His eyes intensified as he focused on a bird in a nearby tree.
They weren't called Treeclan for nothing, right? The tree appeared to be a birch. Inwardly he cursed. Birch trees were a tough job to climb, second only to maples. His inward curse turned to a laugh, and he continued his ascent.

As Mapleheart went for a tree, Onyx looked around, ears flipping this way and that, listening.
There was a rustle that sure didn't sound like leaf. Yellow eyes flicked that direction, and Onyx crouched down, slinking that way. She'd learned a lot about hunting since she'd stumbled onto clan territory running from a hawk. She looked like a black panther in miniature as she stalked whatever prey happened to be scurrying around over there. From scent, it was a mouse.
