You'll never take me alive
Tresspassing can't be tresspassing if it is done for a purpose. This cat, she had a purpose.
She walked directly into the TreeClan camp, her head high, proud. Grace and speed showed in all the lines of her body; her mismatched eyees were bright at the summer sun, fierce and intelligent. Her paws hid claws that were terribly long and sharp, powerful. Her tail waved slowly behind her and her ears twitched; she was not hostile, but she was on edge. Alert.
She was an outsider in every way, but she had an air of authority and dignity about her. No doubt the cats of this Clan were staring; it is not every day an outsider strides so boldly into their midst. She carried herself with all the cool, calm confidence of a leader. She did not demand respect, but usually recieved it.
She was Kestrel, leader of RisingClan.

Amberstar was locked in conversation with her deputy when the fellow leader arrived. Not another tresspasser.. She muttered. She'd had enough trouble with tresspassers and deceivers in her Clan to last her a lifetime. But the way the she-cat carried herself, proud and dignified.. No rogue or mad-cat would show themselves like that. That would mean...
Her dull eyes lit up as she strutted forward towards the leader opposite her, flicking her tail to the black tom behind her for back up. In case she attacked.. You could never be too careful, of course. She blinked away the sorrow in her eyes to face Kestrel with matching dignity.. Every muscle and every move mirroring her self-esteem and proudness only a leader can hold.
Welcome to Treeclan, leader. Bring us no harm, and we shall show you none. However, I believe you have come to us for a purpose. Might I question your presense here in my lands? It is not common for a leader to show up at my doorstep without reasons behind it. Or must you speak to me in private?
Her voice was warm, welcoming.. But it was tight with curious suspicion. Something was wrong, she could sense the silence of the rogue clans. Perhaps this meeting would explain itself..

Kestrel nodded in respect for her fellow leader. "There is no need to be so cautious, Amberstar," she meowed. "I will keep my claws sheathed as long as I tread on your land."
Her knowing gaze flitted across the camp, meeting the eyes of each cat looking her way in turn. "This is not a private meeting; this can be heard by any ears present."
Then she turned back to the TreeClan leader, her mismatched eyes graver. "In case you have not heard, I am Kestrel, leader of RisingClan." Tilting her head, she added her question: "How much do you know of what is going on in the Rogue Meadow?"

OOC: From {Remember, Remember}.
Teppobeat skidded up to where the two leaders were talking. For all ears, eh? Well his ears would most certainly be trained on Kestrel and Amberstar. He sat down and stared at them. Not the "Burning Stare of Death" stare, but the "I'm Listening Intently Stare." The Rogue Meadow. It sounded interesting, and interesting was Teppobeat's favorite kind of anything.

Enough..
Stated the amber hued cat softly, flicking her ears and tail towards the leader intently. She was 'all ears' to state the least.
I know that Boneclan has done terrible deeds. I know that Boneclan holds my betrayal.. Goldenblaze. I know that Risingclan defends itself against Boneclan from harm, and must live and survive along side such a terrible clan.
She blinked away suspicion as it dawned on her that she wouldn't hurt her.. She needed allies.
But that is near impossible to do, when such evil lurks just beyond your borders?

You'll never take me alive
Kestrel nodded slowly and thoughtfully. "BoneClan and RisingClan were born at the same time, on a day when Bane and I met in the Rogue Meadow. Since then his dark influence has only grown over the Meadow," she meowed grimly.
She turned away and began pacing, her movements silent and graceful. "RisingClan is on the brink of war with BoneClan. In the beginning, I tried to uphold peace, but I saw what was taking place there. The rape, the murder. I could not stand it." Kestrel paused, looking back at Amberstar. "I stole a kit," she said. Turning and beginning her pacing anew, she continued, "I stole a BoneClan kit, the kit of Goldenblaze and Heartless." She guessed this would be interesting news to TreeClan. "We will raise the young kit as our own. BoneClan blood means nothing; she will be a good cat. But needless to say, BoneClan was...angry." She could see Goldenblaze's enraged, roaring face. Bane shaking in fury. "I instigated the war. For moons we RisingClanners have been silent, drawing new cats, building our strength. Now from the shadows we come, and our mission is no secret: destroy BoneClan."
Kestrel padded back to where Amberstar stood and stilled. "BoneClan is a disease; they kill needlessly, they rape for pleasure. They threaten any cat who is what can be called 'good.'" Her eyes flashed. In a ringing voice, her words hard and cold like chilled steel, showing nothing but absolute certainty, "We cannot allow them to get any larger, to spread any further. They must die for their crimes."
"This is RisingClan's mission."

She sat and blinked thougtfully, tilting her white chin the sky as she took a deep breath.
Then Risingclan's mission shall be our mission. Boneclan is as much as a threat and enemy as he is yours. Goldenblaze betrayed us, acted as a spy for Bane.. So he could hurt us. He wouldn't be the only one to turn their back on us for Boneclan of course.
She gave a sigh, then turned her gaze back to Kestrel. However, as long as the kit shant be killed, I doubt this for you are a good clan and will see to it the kit is healthy and raised better, than you may count Treeclan in as an alliance. We've many warriors here at your service, hopefully not at your disposal of course. She gave a chuckle.
You've no objections, Blackheart? She said as she rounded on her deputy with a kind face, tail flicking. She doubted he would, but her deputy always had a strong and wise say in things. She trusted this cat with her life.

For a second, Onyxpelt stayed where she was, by the freshkill pile with the injured newcomer. Then her curiosity could take no more and she trotted over to sit near the two leaders and everyone else listening.
So they were allying with Risingclan against Boneclan. This did sound very interesting indeed.

Teppobeat leaned forward. So they were going to war were they? This cat was ready and raring. Raping and murdering... not any kind of fun at all. He unsheathed and sheathed his claws, making tiny pinprick holes in the dirt. He sidled closer to Onyxpelt. "Well... BoneClan. This Teppo'll beat them soundly! Whadda you think?"

Onyx looked at Teppobeat and grinned slightly at his exuberance... even if it was for soundly beating another clan.
"I think... Boneclan deserves a sound beating," she replied. She was a wee bit on the anxious side. She'd not ever had to fight another cat before, and while it was true she thought she could probably handle it, she wasn't terribly sure of herself.

“Not a single one Amberstar.”
Fire burned within normally wise yellow eyes, illuminating them fiercely. To bring that bastard of a traitor down – to destroy the murderous cannibalistic mother of his most likely dead kits….
Of course Blackheart had no objections to an alliance.
One day his young leader would learn his story - his tale.
One day.
“Let us be the ones to wipe such a darkness from the face of theses lands, to erase the existence of such terrifying crimes.”

Kestrel's eyes flashed in pride and a kind of fierce joy. "Then we have an alliance," she called, her strong voice echoing through the camp. Turning back to Amberstar, Kestrel nodded her head, meowing, "Thank you, Amberstar. I left just as the battle between my Clan and BoneClan began, and I have a few things left to do before I may return to my Clan. I must move with all the swiftness I can muster."
She padded to the entrance of camp, pausing only to say slyly over her shoulder, "I hope BoneClan wasn't expecting me to take them on alone. I will take no chances; they must be destroyed. As soon as I leave your lands, I will journey to MistClan, and then StoneClan. With luck, the alliance we forged here will be joined by Lillystar and Featherstar."
And then she was gone, in a whisk of her tail and the whisper of near-silent paws.
"Four Clans to fight the battle," she muttered, and her eyes were bright.

The senior warrior who once sat patiently, waiting for Blackheart\'s return, suddenly raised after his leader and deputy as soon as his golden eyes found traces of movement coming from the entrance of the camp. Blackheart, who had also witnessed this, stood to Amberstar\'s side, to which Sunpelt took to the opposite. His guard was up this time, but... as it appears to be, it wasn\'t necessary. He sat down warily, watching the newcommer, apparently a leader, carefully. Otherwise he said and did nothing more.
As a mute witness to that which had passed, he was all the more quiet as he thought over what had passed. In all standing, he agreed with Amberstar\'s decision, yet a more cautious side of him was uncertain of this leader. He didn\'t, and couldn\'t trust her immediately, which only disturbed more doubts upon the swiftness of this decision... yet he was in no place to question... outright... Amberstar\'s decision... And thus, he left it at that, watching blindly the vacant spot the leadress had once tred upon.
