Welcome to the Hollow

<sub>Things had started to settle down here in Treeclan.

.. Though perhaps things had been a bit weird since her return to this place. She couldn't help but feel out of place here, since her return. Even though she was clan born here, she had left upon certain circumstances.

But Westwind felt at peace and at home in this place; she was a Medicine Cat apprentice before she took her leave. Now she had been told her old mentor had died.

Eatbugs...

He was getting old, but he was a great Medicine Cat as it was.

Now it was time to take her place.

Amberstar had tipped her off that a young apprentice had wanted to become a medicine cat. Astralpaw, wasn't it?

Though she couldn't become the true medicine cat, Eatbugs had died without an apprentice, she could train the young kit to the best of her abiltiies. Right?

Besides, she had already had kits, and had nursed many.

Including the fact she was the only queen available for the young Sinisterkit to nurse, and she had to good of motherly instincts to do anything else.

"Astralpaw?" She called softly into the clearing, her tail swishing gently. Amberstar, her sister, her kin, had promised she would announce the current standings when she returned. Though for such dark times she hoped her sister was okay..</sub>

<sub>Astralpaw jumped as she heard her name be called and trotted off towards the Medicine Cat Hollow. It was a fern entrance, and she slid easily between the fronds into the far base of the massive tree that Treeclan Camp resided, hidded from view by a large wooden wall. Holes punctuated the side to allow ventilation into the small chamber, where a long-haired white cat stood.

She bore striking resemblance to the leader. "Hello," She said nervously. "I'm Astralpaw. You called?" She asked softly.

[ Ahaha! Cinder helped with this here post so as to show what the medicine cat hollow kinda looked like. 'Cause I really didn't know. ^^ Dun shoot her because this is Cinder here! Well, kinda. It be Cinder and Astral.

<sub>"Welcome," Said the white cat, looking up at the grey apprentice. "I've been told you wanted to be a Medicine Cat. Welcome to the Medicine Cat's Hollow," She said kindly. Now that she had gotten it off her chest that her kin had escaped, Amberstar did not seem mad as she was troubled. She had reason to be.

"I am Westwind, Astralpaw," She said cheerfully, all eccentricity gone now she was in her own 'domain', per say. "You want to be a medicine cat, i've been told?" She told her, now getting to be serious. "You know the path you must and musn't take as a Medicine Cat, I presume?"</sub>

[Astralpaw]

_{Astalpaw nodded her head, “Yes, I have know for a while…” Her mind goes back to a dark time, “…but that doesn't make me not want to be one. I will be the best Medicine Cat I can be!"
She looked at Westwind expectantly, "May I ask when we start training? I cannot wait to learn."}

_{"We shall start as soon as Amberstar announces it to the clan," She said kindly, looking up as a call sounded the quiet camp. "It appears she is back from the gathering... And something has gone amiss. I sense these things.." She said quietly. "Come, hopefully she will announce it today."}
