((A cat won't die unless the roleplayer chooses it to. ^^ That would be powerplaying. Unless you choose to kill off your cat, you'll be fine and you're cat will returned (although I doubt unscathed) for her warrior name.))
Amberstar looked almost a little surprised, then gave a light smile and nodded. You may continue, Lucky.

Ooc: Get ready for a disertation! ^_^;
Lucky, still standing, jumped up onto the ledge. "Cats of TreeClan!!!" she called, "I know from experience how loyal cats can be, why, back in the Tribe of Glittering Sand, there were tens on hundreds of cats. We were so loyal to each other, a hundred of us would line up and fight. Thankfully, our large island Tribe was strong, and we often privailed. If it's trust you are looking for, you have definetley found it in Amberstar, may the Tribe of Endless Sea bless you for rowing yourself the right way. As for trust and believing a cat from a rogue Clan, and even though I was once a captive of RisingClan, Kestrel was telling the truth when she was planning to save Kits from BoneClan, I'm positive she is telling the truth now. BoneClan is no different from the Tribe of Dark Caves. They may not have had as many as us, but they had extremely strong cats to make up for it. And though my Tribe was strong, we needed help, help from the Tribe of Sucken Dreams. How do I know this? I'm am that cat who ask for that help. I was training to be a Leader and a Healer, and I knew the Tribe of Glittering Sand couldn't do it on their own." Closing her eyes for a moment, she remembered the day the fight took place. Two hundred cats had lost their lives that day, that didn't include Sucken Dream's cats. Opening them again, she addressed the Clan, voice raised, "I ASK YOU NOW, TO TRUST YOUR FAITHFUL LEADER AND FOLLOW HER INTO BATTLE SO WE CAN RUN THE BONECLANNER'S BODIES TO DUST!!!!! I KNOW I'M GOING WITH HER!!"

“Big words, little she-cat.”
Two golden eyes watched the she-cat who spoke from the ledge, his gaze unblinking. Unwavering.
“Big words indeed.”
The large tom was a stranger – but skilled he was! He had slipped into the camp skillfully and silently, and had risen now to finally speak. He was a large fellow, golden and brown tabby fur more suited for desert life than forest one, true. But the desert was no longer this wanderer’s home.
“Bane is a strong fellow, little cat. I doubt the mere efforts of this little clan is enough to stand up to him and his killers.”
He blinked, his gaze upon the black deputy for a long moment. As Blackheart rose to challenge this rogue, the newcomer nodded his head slightly – not a show of respect abut a thoughtful one.
“However, you are joining others…am I correct? Is there a place for this battle scarred tom? I have something to redeem myself for.”

Amberstar sat, carefully listening. Her words were about to show themselves before another cat spoke.. One, unknown to her ears. She hissed and flung herself to her feet, landing gracefully on her fours before the tom, eying him warily. You speak as though you knew the bloodlusted cat himself! She yowled, tail flicking irritably. How many tresspassers do I need to sink my claws in before they get the idea? She asked, mainly to herself and her clan, but didn't move a muscle to attack him.
.. He appeared friendly.. Acceptance? Was THAT what he was after?
Fighting for Treeclan here won't redeem a sin, as far as I know, but you are more than welcome to stay.
.. But be warned, She growled, eying the tom still warily. I do not take kindly to the double crossers in my clan. Redeem yourself to me, prove yourself to be trusted. She turned to look at the wary black tom perched upon the rock she once stood upon. Although some may take more convincing that others. She said with a dry laugh.
Welcome to Treeclan, Tom. Be your name?

“One does not need to know the serpent to beware its venom, she-cat.”
His striking eyes met those of Amberstar without as much as a flinch. Young warrior he may be, but there was deep wisdom in that sharp gaze.
His sin would forever weigh heavily on his mind. But Shangsword knew that, even if he didn’t redeem himself, at least he tried.
And maybe his little brother would forgive him for that terrible mistake.
“Double-crosser? She-cat, if we were back in the old lands, where my previous clan laired, I’d have called you out onto the dueling grounds to pay blood for such a label. My sin was a mistake, a terrible accident, which had cost the life of my younger brother.”
He almost growled, his tail flicking slightly irritably once before he placed a paw on it to stop the action. He didn’t like speaking so much, especially to a cat he barely even knew.
“Shangsword.”
It was an odd name – a warrior’s name, yes. But definitely not like the names found normally within this valley.
Ah, but he wasn’t from this valley. His scent was warm, rich – strongly of hot places and sand. A desert cat.
“Your name?”

She narrowed her eyes but let a smile play at her jaws. I like the way you play your game, cat. You have dignity and guts to speak to a leader in such a manner. She let her bottlebrush tail sweep the ground before she set her rump neatly upon the earth.
You have the acquaintance of Amberstar of Treeclan. She let her eyes scan the crowd around her. I'll let everybody else make your acquaintance, for it would be foolish to sit here and name you every cat under my command.
With that, she turned swiftly and gracefully on her heels and moved away, ears pinned to her side to hear if he wished to speak more.

"Well I'm Teppobeat," the warrior said, and a little too loudly at that. He cocked his head at the new cat with exotic name and the mysterious sin. Ever as curious as a kit, he asked: "So what did you do? That you need redeeming for, I mean." His yellow eyes pierced into the newcomer, seeking an answer. Mostly because he had nothing else to do.

Silence.
Yellow hues flicked from the leader – to the as yet to be named black tom still giving his the wary, guarded expression – finally to the newest voice, a fellow tom. He seemed perky, as if he’d ingested quite a bit too much catnip.
“Teppobeat.’
He repeated the name with a nod, indicating that it would not be forgotten.
“My younger brother and two of our friends, Enigma and Styx, were out on patrol when the struck. Jackals – canines much like foxes except larger and meaner – invaded the clan grounds. It was a slaughter; they killed any cat they could get their jaws on. We made it back to see what was going on, and rushed to join our fellow warriors in driving the beasts off.”
Pause.
“It was in the midst of the fray when I sensed someone rushing at my back. It was…”
He was when he faltered, his voice hollow and devoid of all emotion.
Pain.
Block it Shang. You’re too strong for that damned emotion. Too strong.
“I didn’t realize it was Daggerdance, my brother. The scent of the blood was so clogging, the enemy and allied forces so dense in the battle. I struck.”
Need he say more? The tom looked away, away from all of the cats there, in the camp. Away from those who may or may not be staring at him, condemning him for his terrible terrible mistake.

Lucky smiled to herself, her speach seemed to put courage in some cats' hearts, but in others... it just seemed to make it so they laughed at her.
The golden she-cat jumped down from the ledge so that she could take her place beside Takumi, but froze as she listened to the cat's story. THUD! Lucky landed on all four paws, but still did not move as she listened. Only the green band on her tail flowed in the wind. Was there more? Why did it seem that many families no longer loved or even liked each other anymore?

Onyx hardly even listened to Lucky's speech. The black she-cat wasn't distracted or anything, she just didn't feel like being incited to anything. Inciting meant half losing your wits, and she didn't feel that was such a good idea for her.
She did, however, listen to the newcomer- Shangsword- with a slight frown, a thoughtful one.
"At least you feel remorse, and it isn't like you killed him in cold blood. It may not excuse it, but... well, there are worse cats. I think the Boneclanners kill in cold blood, and I'm sure they feel little if any remorse," she said as he looked away from everyone, but she wasn't sure how reassuring that particular statement would be. Well, at least she'd meant it as reassuring. Or at least not condemning.

She looked between Teppobeat and Shangsword, wondering what his response would be. But then, hen anwered.
It must be hard. I know what it's like to lose somebody close to you. She stated simply, keeping it so it wouldn't give too much indication at where she was in the time she was gone. She thought of her son, her daughter.. Her own children, and she had to give them up for her job, her duty. What kind of a mother was she..?
But she had to take her mind off the matter, or else she may change her mind. And this was a time where her clan needed her most.
She turned an ear to Onyxpelt, blinking slowly. Her words made sense. My soon to be no longer apprentice is correct, Shangsword. Boneclan is such a murderous clan, it's best not to think of it. Your actions are not upon your own will, and therefore may not even be a sin at all. Though I show sympathy for you, tom.

Rune stepped slowly into camp, glancing around in curiosity.
"What's going on?" he mewed, but his voice was quiet. He wasn't sure he wanted to draw much attention so early on.
Blah, no muse >.<

Maplepaw had never even thought to think that he would become a clan warrior so quickly. A bit nervous for taking so long to step up, his ears fell back on his skull, a habit left over from when he was a kit. The difference was that he now noticed this habit, and he thrust his ears forward in defiance. This would be a true turning point in his life, to be sure. ((Oh, goodness. I never even took time to think up a proper warrior name! What a good RPer I am. Seriously, though. I was thinking perhaps "Mapleheart", but the heart thing may be too similar to Blackheart. Anything goes, Amber. xD ))

Lucky nodded and sat down in her place. No cold blood killing. That was good. This cat seemed trustworthy; and if he could kill his brother with one blow, Shangsword must be a good fighter... right?
No betrayals please...

“It doesn’t matter. He is dead. I live on.”
A frown crossed his face, why didn’t they understand? Things were so much more different here than if his homeland, with the clan he lived for most of his life with.
His ears flicked back, anger smoldering in his yellow eyes as he suddenly hissed, spatting in anger at the clan leader.
“I do not need nor want your sympathy or remorse Amberstar!”
What had she done? The tom’s pride and honor had been prickled by that comment. Save respect, there was little else he wanted for his own kind. Rising to his paws, he growled as he backed away from the group – feeling more out of place then he did before.

[Hehe, Blackheart wouldn’t mind if his name was similar. Nor do I if that’s what you wish.] Blackheart snapped, suddenly.
“Don’t you speak to your clan leader like that tom.”
The large black deputy rose to his paws too, his yellow hues as cold as flints.
“She’d been nothing but kind to you, allowing you into her clan without so much as a test.”
Would he have been so kind? Not likely, but then again, Blackheart wasn’t always the most kindly cat around.

“Um…Amberstar?”
A quiet, shy voice sounded from behind Amberstar. Shinzui stood there, her orange eyes lowered in total respect.
“I-I…”
There was a young white tom sitting beside her, bright blue eyes wide and innocent. It was Kaze, now many many moons late to being apprenticed.
“Please Amberstar! Please, my son is-is worthy to become an apprentice. Mister Blackheart, he-he’s been so kind helping me teach him while y-you were gone an…and I think he’d make so-someone a good apprentice.”
Her gaze lifted. It was true, Shinzui would never be fully comfortable with being in the wild. But Kaze?
Although mute, the bobtailed tom had taken to this life like a duck to water.

Her eyes sparked with disapproval, but she said nothing. She turned to her protective deputy as he spat, her eyes calming. She put a paw on his shoulder gently.
Blackheart, do not be angered by his words. It was my mistake to show him any kindness where he did not want it. She turned and eyed the tom warily, but a tentative voice spoke.
She turned to Shinzui, eyes wide. She hardly ever spoke, and her words surprised Amberstar with everything she has said.
She gave a kindly smile, but after her last run in with Shangsword, she wished not to give kind words.
That is my own fault, Shinzui, and I apologize. I will take Kaze as my own apprentice, now that Onyxpelt's is almost through. Perhaps Blackheart may be able to take an apprentice as well..
She looked down at the two cats before her, looking to her eagerly.
