Fox-colored paws tread across the terra he knew so well. Green hues scanned the landscape that was etched into his mind. The tallest trees in all of the forest, this was TreeClan's home.
Foxwish had been born here, but it had been many moons since then. His mother had taken him away from his home, in order to teach him "how hard life could be" or something to that extent. He'd spent many lonely days since that time and now he wanted to be part of his birth-clan again. The only thing that held him back, was whether or not they would accept him. The red-orange tom paced nervously at the edge of his old clan's territory. What was he to say, to do? Normally a clever and graceful cat, he was at a total loss... |

"Foxwish!" Came the soft voice of an amber she-cat. Though she had obviously grown older than when they last knew eachother, she was just a kit, she remembered his face. "It is good to see you back in these parts," she said kindly, and rather rambling. "What brings you back?" She said excitedly, whiskers twitching quickly with excitement. [We're gonna say they knew eachother.. From.. Way back when.  If you dun like it, I can easily fix it. ^^] |

Foxwish's head perked up at the sound of a familiar voice. He looked at the amber-gold pelt, the soft white paws, the clear beautiful eyes. This must be his kithood friend!

She gave a soft, melodic laugh. She sat down. "My, my friend, you have not been here in quite some time!" She purred, licking at her paws and rubbing it over her forehead lazily.
"Much has gone on since you left...
They call me Amberstar now," She said serenely. |

Foxwish's eyes widened. He HAD missed a lot! His auburn-red tail swished in excitement.
"That's amazing!" "So you're leader now?" "How did you pull that off?!" his voice rose with curiosity and wonder. There was so much she could tell him. |

She gave a light laugh, amber tail swishing with contentment. It.. it had been so long indeed since she had seen her young friend. "Oakstar left many many moons ago. I simply became the leader. Even the deputy had left with her.. Shame, they were both kind-hearted cats.
"We have a new deputy, too. His name, it's Blackheart. Protective tom he is, I depend on him much." She gave a smile, tail resting over her milky white paws.
"So what brings you back to Treeclan? You're not the first to return back here, either. My sister has returned, too." She gave a laugh. |

Foxwish simply stared for a moment. It had been so long since he'd hear Oakstar's name, he'd really been away a while...
"My wanderings were...cut short..." he said simply, not wanting to go further into it. His mother had not been gentle with her lessons. "May I come into the Clan now...I'd really like to meet all the new members and see my old den!" |
