A solid black she-cat came stalking over the TreeClan border. She knew where she was. She needed blood. Cat blood. She was a cannibal. Not that she wouldn't accept a mouse or vole, but cat blood pleased her dark soul so much more than ordinary animals. This was Night's fun, stalking her next victim. Hey, she thought,at least this time I'm not alone. She looked behind her at the sandy she cat coming up. Here comes Heartless! Clan kitties better run. The cannibalistic duo has arrived!

Heartless moved silently behind her comrade and only ‘friend’, ears flattened and brown tipped tail swishing as she eyed their surroundings. Yes, she too noticed the scent boundary, but neither did she honestly care about it. Since there were no rogues currently to be found among their normal terra, clan blood would do just as well. Even better in fact, Heartless loved nothing better that to tear apart one of her hated enemies.
One of the fools who followed ‘StarClan’.

The clan leader darted through the bushes expertly. She knew these woods like she knew her own kits. With expert ease, accompanied with the tom Goldenblaze, she leapt in front of them, a rage filled in her eyes. Leave these lands at once! This is clan territory, not yours to walk over! She hissed. She could scent the dark smell of rougue on their fur, which she could tell as they were intruders.
Goldenblaze closely flanked her, defending her and the clan at all costs. He scowled at the bitter and rank smell on their coats. And he had lived there as a kit?? His hackles were up in a flurry of fur, golden eyes livid that anyone dared to cross Clan boundaries. Above all his.

Hello there kitties. Bringer of Night's voice was calm, deathly calm. The she-cat's outburst hadn't phased her a bit. And why should we leave? We're part of a clan. And you did say this was clan territory. So wouldn't that make it ours? Night smiled at her twisting of words. The she-cat hadn't said to which clan the land belonged. So, Clancat, what's your rank? You give the impression of a cat who thinks she's in charge. Night laughed, short and cold. If this cat thought she was leading something when all she led was a clan of sniveling kittypets, she was wrong. Dead wrong.

Heartless chuckled at her comrade’s words, pale blue eyes sizing up the TreeClan cats.
“One each.”
Her voice held a sharp, malevolent tone to it. Oh ho, Night would know what she was talking about by the little statement. The sand-colored she-cat settled beside Night, looking relaxed and calm as she stared down the other cats. However, her muscles, lean yet immensely powerful, rippled under that pretty-colored coat.

She snorted. So they thought they could take on her, thinking they were a couple of warriors. Wrong, kittypet. She said calmly, but it was hard to ignore the burning anger in her eyes. I'm Treeclan leader. State your business here, if you are a clancat. If you claim you are, then you should abide by the rules set by our ancestor cats. She said coldly, tail flicking. She had no idea what clan they were part of.. Oh no, she hadn't a clue. Her voice was steely, and it had lost all sweet and kind edge. Now, it was set for a battle. Get off my lands, now! She yowled, hackles raising.

Our business here m'lady, is simply to find some dinner. You wouldn't let two cats starve would you? Night's voice changed from cold, to sickly sweet. She loved tauting this leader. Night crouched down. The leader had made a mistake sitting so close to the two killers. She pounced. From that close range there was no way she could miss the leader's shoulders. She was right. Night landed square on top of the other cat, claws and fangs bared, with a hiss.

However Amberstar was not expecting it, she was taught especially from Treeclan's old most powerful warrior to be quick on her feet, and she kicked her back legs up and launched the other cat into the air. With her recovering, Goldenblaze leapt.
Goldenblaze was on his feet and running at Night with a blinding speed, claws extended and his teeth bared. He was raised a rogue, and his aim was more often than not accurate. He planned to land square on the cat's side. And his aim was true.

Heartless did have some honor. Instead of helping her double-team the TreeClan leader, she launched herself directly at Goldenblaze, claws extended and knocked him off of Night. However, at the last second in an unpredictable move, she twisted her body out of the way, and struck lightning fast from the side. Claws flashed across Goldenblaze’s vision, as she attempted to slash him across the face.
Not giving herself time to see if the blow actually struck or not, Heartless moved out of range. Always moving, she twirled to flank him and snarled, a demonic sound coming from a she-cat like herself.
Fangs flashed, aiming for his back.

The tom landed right in Night's side. She was bowled over with a gasp. As soon as she landed she was up again, howling in rage at the attacking tom. Her teeth met his shoulder and she tasted blood. Warm, tangy blood. Yum. As she bit she raked her claws at his belly and hoped they struck.

Her aim was true, and her claws raked the side of his face. He yowled, hissing and spitting. He darted around her with similar speed, launching at her side and knocking her down. He was quick to leap off and bound the opposite direction. His fur was heavy, and for both cats it'd be hard to reach the skin. He glared about.
Amberstar was quick to recover, and bounded a safe distance, her attack stance still there. I'd suggest your Clanleader train you better.. You fight like kits! She yowled, her tail flicking. As much as it was 'mature' of her to fight with insults, she was ready to jump back into the heat at any moment.

The leader's insult slid over Night like a duck over water. Coward. Come over and fight. She turned, swiping her claws at the tom. Don't you care about you're clanmate? He's going to be dinner if you don't hurry. Night glanced over to see the reaction of this so-called leader.

For her it may be a hindrance, his long fur, but Heartless knew of area where the fur did not grow so long..
Heartless rolled to her feet, making the action look effortless, and then lunged almost wildly at Goldenblaze. However, being the ever crafty cannibal she was, she dove at the last second to the side, sharp teeth latching onto one sensitive ear. She twisted her head in a brutal manner, the taste of his blood driving her into a blood frenzy, and giving her berserker strength.
Finally, his ear could take no more such punishment, and it was torn free in her jaws.

She couldn't help but smile to herself, her tail twitching in aggravation. But even if they were supposed to be enemies, she couldn't help but admire the black cat. Alright, but keep in mind I didn't become Clanleader for nothing. She darted with practiced ease at the two cats, cutting between them and whirling backwards to launch upon Heartless.
Goldenblaze lowered his head. Man, his leader was ruthless, cunning, if not completely stupid. He still felt the stinging on his face from where Heartless had raked him across the face, and he dashed after her, tail held high as he yowled in rage, launching an attack on Night once more.

He couldn't help but skid to a halt and slide on to his side as he felt it torn from him. He yowled pitifully, but it only maddened his rage at the cat. He whirled to his feet and charged, once more, at Night. This time, however, he slid under her belly as he dashed under her and came up, aiming precisely at the shoulder blade.

As the tom came, Night was ready. She wanted more blood. The tom had good blood. Blood that needed spilling. When he got close she leapt, hoping to land on his back. I want a kitty back ride, she thought evilly, a smirk growing on her face.

He crouched, sending her sailing over his back and he leapt up, hoping to hit her directly into the gut or the stomach.

Heartless was ready for the leader’s attack, although she felt her claws tear off fur and inflect cuts, she dodged to the side like a flash of sandy lightning.
All this still with Goldenblaze’s ear dangling from her mouth.
Amberstar was not up against a mild-manner beginner. She found herself up against a cold, heartless [^^], and often unstable assassin. Heartless had said little at the start of the fight, and since the fight begun she had said nothing at all. Her silence was chilling, the same with how she fought, not since that snarl not uttering another sound. Those pale blue hues fell on Amberstar, glittering with blood lust.

Likewise, Amberstar was a trained warrior. Although she'd skipped the Deputy position to make it to Leader, she made it to Warrior faster than any of the cats known to any cat in any given clan. Her attacks were swift, and more often than not cunning. She turned with a satisfied look at least to find she'd scraped her, but looked absolutely crestfallen to see an ear in her mouth, and poor Goldenblaze without one. She narrowed her icey eyes, holding her ground now.

The gold tom had good timing. He shoved NIght onto the ground with a grunt on her part. He's gonna get it now. She was beginning to grow angry. And he wouldn't like her when she was angry. Night leapt up, raking her claws into the bloody area where the tom's ear used to be. She hoped this would cause some serious pain.
