Springtime had finally arrived in the forest and it had eaten away the winter chill with vengeance. Most of the time. Occasionally the wind would whip through and chill the sun kissed land. This random touch of cold did not bother a certain creature that rested in the highest reaches of a tree on the border of the territory. His summer coat had not yet come in and so he was perfectly capable of dealing with the cold.
The massive green leaves of a Maple tree hid the silver and white feline that rested on the knurled branch. Mythdancer weighed in at a whopping 27 lbs. and was the size of a small dog. His sexy body was basically all muscle and the car was a force to be reckoned with. The tom was debating joining these clans that he had heard so much about. As a wind ripped through the forest, the tom’s ears flattened against his head and he drew his tongue over his maw.
2 years of living on the city streets had taught him much, but he knew nothing about living in a society like these cats did. For nearly two days the tom had watched them come and go. They looked to be patrolling but it was always far away from him, where he couldn’t be scented. Myth knew if they came this way he would be discovered. He had no idea what he would do when they found him. The world would just have to wait and see.

The young cat trotted through the brush, eyes seeming to dance in contentment as she looked up, her nose tracing through path ways. She spotted the cat from a distance, and winded her way down towards him. He smelled oddly of the city, a bitter stench. But it was fading now, and she smiled brightly to the large cat. State your name and business, tom. She said gently, tail flicking gently.
