He was already deep into the thick forests of TreeClan before the wandering feline noticed he was completely lost. Every tree looked like the next, every stone like before. His copper eyes reflected his slight worry. He glanced around to find something that was a little familiar.
The sun dripped through a small patch of air between the dense trees. He squinted at the light for a moment, lenses unaccomstomed to such brightness. After a moment, his pupils slitted and he admired the beauty of the scene. White light streamed past the leaves, creating spots of brilliant color as they painted the forest floor. He had seen no such allure from any other landscape from his childhood. It was almost... Magical.
He opened his mouth and breathed in the fresh scents of the forest. He tried to pinpoint the smell of any cat, but failed to catch any such aroma. He decided to keep moving. With any luck, he might run across a border patrol or maybe even the camp. His paws created a soft pit-pat sound as he continued diligently on into the unknown.

The fortunes of the day were unbelievable. With her she carried a fat vole, and as she trotted along the forestfloor, rather than through the treetops, she paused at the precise place she knew she had left her squirrel. Without setting down the vole, she began to dig at a place between two large roots in a tree, shoving aside leaves and bark to unearth a heathly-sized gray squirrel. It wasn't bloody or anything, oddly enough; it had died of its own stupidity, breakings its neck in a fall from a high branch rather than grabbing the branch below it. Working the loose skin along the squirrel's back into her mouth, she managed to carry the vole and drag the squirrel, all at the same time. She as heading home, when a new scent hit her pretty, pink little nose, and she stopped. Without dropping either kill, she dropped into a crouch and crept towards the source of the scent. She heard him before she saw him, rustling through the ferns as if he was lost. Lifting her head above the undergrowrth, she spotted him. A young, cream-and-gold spotted male, almost a lighter version of her rusty-gold and chocolate color scheme.
Easing through the ferns to come close, she dropped her kills and shifted a bit. If he turned, she'd be directly in his line of sight. "You seem lost, my rogue friend." Her voice was quiet, not exactly welcoming, but there was a curiosity that implied openness. For being a leader, she was young, and youth offered her a bit more leeway in the manner of behavior than a more experienced or elderly leader.

The male's ears had barely swiveled towards the sound of another before she spoke. It startled him, making him jump ever so slightly. He turned to see a female, around the same age as he. He didn't know what to think first, after being surprised like that. He quickly regained his sense and realized that this, of course, must be someone from TreeClan. His lidded, copper-hued eyes focused on her, taking in her appearence if he should ever need to remember her. Little did he know that she was the Leader.
"I... am somewhat lost." He admitted. Honesty was definately one of his virtues. "Are you one of TreeClan? I've come to ask for acceptance."
He caught the scent of prey, quiet tantalizing and quite fresh. He wanted to look around for it, but he told himself to focus on the other feline; food would come later. This was now.

Oakstar's orange eyes were appraising, judgemental as they roamed his form. He seemed a worthy addition to the Clan, a strong cat, and well-mannered. Giving him a small nod of acknowledgement, she said, "We're leaving for the Great Hill tonight. If you wish to come, be ready to leave with us."
(Go ahead and post at the Great Hill...I'm trying to catch up for, like, 3 days' worth of posting lol sorry this post was so short and...non-creative >.<)

(AH! YAY! I'm in!!! ;D Oh, BTW, do you know how one gets to be a Medicine Cat? I know somecat who'd be good in the position... )
Rayheart's face lit up with excitement. He bowed slightly for his now-clanmate in graditude. When, he looked up though, she was gone. Now he had to find the Great Hill. He knew which direction it should be in so... It was worth a shot. He happily darted off into the foliage, ready for anything at the Great Hill.
