Leopardnose

Leopardnose sniffed the air. To her delight it was filled with pray.
She decided to get pray later and get some rest since she traveled a long way.Leopardnose started to search for a good place to rest. She sniffed the air once more but this time she smelled pray, but there was something else. Something that could be dangorous.The smell was cats. A lot of cats.She waited as if a cat would just pop up right now and confront her.She waited a while longer and thought it would be safe for now to just rest.

<sub>"Looking for something? Came the teasing voice of a she-cat up above. An amber blur, her trademark if there ever was one, flew gracefully from the limb over her head and landed neatly on the ground not but 2 tail lengths from Leopardnose.

"I suspect that you smelt the cats here, my patrol, among the prey. Indeed... It's a good thing too, that I found you before any other cat here had. Most are loyal to me, and protect their lands with all they have.

.. But what am I going on about?" She gave a warm laugh. "Now for manners, I am Amberstar, leader of this here clan that you have stepped upon. And what be your name? And business here, young she?"</sub>

Leopardnose's pelt sprang up at the sound of a voice. But quickly relaxed. This cat, Amberstar seemed friendly enough were she might not attack.
" I am Leopardnose. I am sorry if i trespassed on your territory. I didn't realize I left rogue meadow until i started to smell alot of different things and didn't know were I was." Leopardnose said shyly waiting for a reply.

<sub>The amber she looked over Leopardnose with quick, but thourough calculating looks, wondering if she had what it took to possibly join Treeclan.

"No worries, Leopardnose, you have caused no harm to us." She said softly and kindly, still giving her a searching look. "What brings you to Treeclan, might I ask? Some come for shelter and a home, some to pass through my lands. Some even to cause trouble." She gave a scowl and shook her head. "But I do not take you to be one of /those/ kinds. So, tell me; why ARE you here?"</sub>

Leopardnose thought for a second. She had never considered joining treeclan. But now, when Leopardnose thought, she thought it would be a lot better then living in rogue meadow. Then she considered that she would have to help feed an entire clan and fight for it. But there was plenty of food and a lot more space here then Rogue meadow. Leopardnose thought and finally decided.
"I would like to join your clan. If you would let me, Amberstar." Leopardnose waited for Amberstar to answer.

<sub>Amberstar smiled in spite of herself. It appeared her and this she-cat were thinking along the same lines.

"Yes, you may, if you so wish to do so.

However, keep in mind I want your loyalty when times come down to the rough dirt under our paws, and you must abide by the Warrior code at all cost," She said seriously. But then again.. some rules were meant to be broken. Even as a leader, she had broken many.

But always loyal to her clan was what she was.</sub>

Leopardnose looked up at Amberstar thankfully." I will do my best to serve Treeclan." Leopardnose only knew few rules of the warrior code. Few cats spoke of the clan cats and the warrior code, but Leopardnose knew there was no turning back to joining a clan and that she had to do your best in serving Treeclan.
