.Eleven Ways To Die feel free to sample.
Power.
It thrilled Greed, the sheer power he felt pulsing through his veins. The golden tom laid bneath a tree at the borders of some territory, he could scent the markings the claimed it, completely relaxed and grooming the bure white fur that tampered his belly, extending clear to his mouth. He had the look of a cat who was completely contented, without a need or desire in the world.
Oh, how wrong was that.
Hunger.
Food? No, no that wouldn’t stop the hunger that almost continuously gnawed away at his sides.
At his heart.
He paused, looking up. The tom had bright, golden eyes, matching the luster of his coat. His tongue licked his chops.
Blood.
It was moons since he had ate the twoleg kit’s heart. Yet still, he savored the taste that seemed to linger heavily at the back of his mouth.
And the power.
There was no fear left within the golden tom. Of twolegs, of death, of anything he could think of off the top of his head and yet more.
But the lust had overcome his soul.
The desire for power, for she-cats, for land….it encompassed his being.
Ah, but Greed was the ever crafty male. He knew, if he remained here, someone, maybe even the owner of this territory, would come to see what he was doing lingering on their borders.
And maybe he could play his first move.

The tom smelt of death, of sins, of murderous pasts written in upon his stench, his well-being. Those kind of things never left a cat. If they did, Amberstar was never one to pass up the scent.
Her keen senses detected in as she approached the borders warily, watching him with disdain. She could tell he was trouble, it was written in every move he made like a book, a poem, a story told to kits... The dusts that marked his trail marked his past.
The thing that aggrivated cats was that Amberstar was one to be capable of reading such cats like an open book, the pen at it's side waiting to be finished. But she was no writer, and therefore not one to choose the past he took in his future.. Unless.
He wanted acceptance.
Now, he seemed like the manipulative type, and Amberstar was not one to be easily manipulated. She was wary of almost all strange males since her last... Incident. Hopefully, it shant happen again with this tom.
She spoke before she revealed herself, letting her words wash over him, tension hanging in the air. The direction of the speaker was unknown to the tom.
You smell of blood.. Of tainted pasts. Why is it Treeclan, you seek?? Or perhaps it is Boneclan, the murderous traitors, that may suit a wandering tom better..? But I am not one to judge by scent and looks alone. What brings you here, tom? State your name and alliance.
Her voice was sharp and commanding. He reminded her so much of Goldenblaze.. Of Felony... She stepped from the shadowy brush at his flanks, tail flicking, eyes narrowed with a thin smile upon her maw. This, here, was the leader.
One of my longests posts EVAH!! ^^ Methinks. If ya dun get it, I get summarize it for you. I love playing with metaphors and big words, but sometimes I don't quite get how to use them. XDDD

.You’re one in a million; you’ve got to burn to shine, But you were born under a bad sign.
Ah, so the leader made her move first.
“Of blood, she-cat?”
The smile never left that golden face. The hues, matching so nicely against his fur, blinked once, his gaze looking back at her almost lazily. His fluffy tail flicked, once, mirroring the emotion he reflected throughout his form.
“Blood? Dear, pretty she-cat, I’ve never killed a feline before.”
What may be shocking, more than anything else, was that he was speaking the truth.
“I’ll be honest she-cat. The name’s Greed.”
That explained more than it didn’t. A light shone within those golden hues, as they met Amberstar’s directly and held her. Frightening really, that he shown no fear…especially when she could so easily call her clan to rip him to shreds.
Fear?
He had power! What was fear, in the face of what he had done?
“Boneclan? Why should I seek to join a band of murderers and cannibals? I am no murderer. I am no cannibal.”
More truth.
The truth could be as seductive as a lie. But Greed wasn’t practicing seduction right now.
“My allegiance isn’t with any cat, or side, really. But I have a proposition.”
If there was any tension, if was from the she-cat leader and her only. Greed blinked once again, his tail flicking another time.
“You’re going to war, am I correct? The rogues are all abuzz about it. Some are picking sides as we speak. As for I? I want power, she-cat. I want females. Territory. No, I’m not seeking yours, but here when that said proposition starts. If you accept me, I’ll fight for you and your clan in the battles to come. I even know a few rogues I can convince to join your clan and help out. I won’t try to seduce you, touch your land, hell, even kill you like I’ve seen some cats plot. Nah, if I live through the battle, I want Boneclan’s land. I want any Boneclan females that may be captured. An alliance with Treeclan will hold, even then. If I choose to set up a clan myself on that land, any fights and issues with other clans will remain with other clans – you will not be drawn in.”
Smooth, this tom’s voice was like listing to a silken purr. However, he paused, allowing the leader to draw in his words.
Truth.
Once again, if fell back to it. If this leader was as good at reading cats as Greed sensed, even she could see that the book was open, truth was being told.
Numbers were rather low, in this clan. Not as nonexistent as in Duskclan, but one could get what is meant. She’d need warriors, loyal ones, in the coming days. And he’d be loyal, as long as she held up her end of the bargain.
And if she feared he wouldn’t?
Well, Greed was an odd cat. He’d hold up his end as long as she held up hers.
All his cards were laid on the table.
[oO Maybe he and Barbwire will be the ones to resurrect the Bloodclan of old. I dunno, but he’s sure fun to RP.]

.I will follow you forever and for always Just as long as I can hear your voice.
“He isn’t kidding.”
A soft, melodious voice flickered, all around the two cats. A dark brown tabby female stepped out of the bushes to the right, her sight on the amber-red leader.
“He can bring more cats, incite more to join and fight for you, in this coming war.”
Greed’s preposition to this leader she-cat was so small, compared to what she may gain from it. It was a good political alliance for her to make.
If she carefully looked at it.
And Stormwing judged that this leader was the kind of cat to look through everything, not jumping to any conclusions.
Now what of Stormwing?
She’d follow Greed, of course. Always always. So here was another new warrior for the leader’s clan, right there and waiting.
Her warm brown gaze looked away, over her shoulder. Where were Duo and Colt .45? They should be here. Although…her eyes returned to fall on Greed. He probably gave them orders not to follow. Two cats were better than four in such matters.
.Heaven may banish me, Hell may reject me But I will always follow you. (My rping is so crappy compared to you guys’. *laughs* I’m out of my league and knows it. Umber, if Duo and Colt’s names are not correct, I’ll change them when you get back to me. Heh, I thought it'd be interesting of Greed and Stormwing matched posts. Sorta. I still dunno how you guys get your font so small and paragraphs so neat. Female characters are hard to rp.)

She savored his words, let him continue, before blinking and smiling. Ah, a sensible one you are.
... Even if you are destined to leave our clan, should I let you into our clan. She blinked a smile upon her face.
I never said feline blood, now did I, tom? No, you smell of twolegs.. But I shant question your reasons and past for being here. What you say, I sense no untruth in them. And for that, I offer my apologies for jumping to conclusions, an act I rarely do.
She turned an ear to listen to a female voice, one unknown to her. But she kept her head turned to watch the tom warily, but with much interest. I never doubted either of your words, and I trust you to bring me much luck to my clan. However, my biggest concern is not raising the quantity of which I bring to my clan, it is the quality of the warriors we need. She finally set her gaze upon the she-cat, ear flicking forward. Even if new members never hurt to cross paws into my borders.
She watched them both, with curious eyes. But not those of a kit; those of a full fledged leader.. Calculating, cool, and overall piercing gaze watching their every move. Greed, is it? And i'm afraid I never caught your name. I like the way you speak to me, for I am never one to decline on a good deal that brings win-win situations to my clan, and obviously never one to simply pass it away without a thought. She smiled, calmly, her expression, her muscles, calming around the cats, but still keeping an eye on them. You never know when one may turn on you...
How can you prove to me your words are merely not tricks, to decieve me? She asked, her expression neither wary nor calm anymore. Now, it spoke business in her every being.
((PM me more about the topic between Greed and Barbwire, we may have a good plot here, and i'm quite interested!!))

.A Rebel with Blood-stained Paws; I am no Messiah.
He listened. Golden ears were flicked forward, golden eyes watching the she-cat. Instead, he finally chose to move, sitting up so that he could meet here eye to eye.
She spoke of twolegs.
Oh, if only she knew the truth about that little fact.
“Sometimes one must do something regrettable in their past.”
He shrugged, but Greed sensed that this leader would understand that more than he had originally expected she would.
“Ah, quality and quantity. Even if the quality isn’t up to par with original expectations she-cat, look at it in this light. In the battles to come, the more warriors you have, the more likely on of these newcomers will die and a clan cat, one close and dear to you, will survive. Or would you rather a friend die? I think we both know that answer to that.”
Greed had no friends. No. Wait. That statement was wrong. He had one friend. Stormwing, the she-cat sitting right near him.
She was probably the only cat eh truly trusted and looked to for support.
Ah, but this wasn’t over yet, now was it?
She questioned his words. And Greed merely grinned.
“How do I know that, if you seem to agree to this plan and lead me into your clan borders, you do not call your clan to tear Stormwing and I to shreds? I don’t, she-cat leader. I don’t. However, one is incapable of going through life always looking over one’s shoulder, expecting cats to double-cross or betray you. You won’t be able to truly live then, always fearing what might happen, who might turn.”
Nodding slightly, as if to himself, Greed lifted his head up to meet the leader’s gaze. Even though he spoke business the entire time he spoke with the she-cat, the calmness still gripped him and his mannerisms.
This was business. He spoke the truth, not sought to deceive.
Even though he could.
But that was a completely different matter entirely. Greed waited, waited to hear the leader’s next words.
[Storm – to get the small font use and the aligned paragraphs are [blockquote*][/blockquote]. Without the asterisks, of course. And your RP’ing is great! ^^ Cinder – Don’t be silly, I so am not better than you. Pssk. Anyway, I’ll send you the PM. ^^]

(Right, you two are so much better than be. Be proud!)
There was little for Stormwing to add to Greed’s words, so the female sighed and sat back. Greed was right though…this leader could easily draw her clan down on them. That made her feel a bit apprehensive, and she looked around quickly, moving a little closer to Greed. If needed to, she’d fight to protect him.

The thought occured to her, and she looked up to the fading grey sky thoughtfully. Perhaps it is the fact that we do need more warriors, though I may bring controversy to my own words. We shant harm other cats along as they show us no harm, but who are you to judge that?
She seemed indignant, but by no means angry at him. In fact, she seemed pleased of the two cats. They could bring nothing but good to her clan, and two the fellow two clans that would possibly ally with her in this oncoming war.
... Though she was not sure of Duskclan, and the mysterious, lethal she-cat. Sabrestar... Amberstar wasn't sure what to think of the black she-cat, where her alliances laid within Starclan or with Boneclan's bloody history.
She came back to herself, remembering she was speaking with others, and nodded. I see where your points lie, for I am to worked up about deceivers in my clan. They do cause quite the annoyance. She purred silkily.
Then, Greed, She-cat, she said, indicating she still hadn't yet had her name, she bowed her head respectfully. Then it is with my trust to you and this deal that you ride on that I accept you into Treeclan with utmost honor. Welcome....Jush you are!!! You know BIG WORDS!! <333 Bwaha. You know how to rp. Me? I throw random words that sound cool into the size of a good paragraph and hope that it makes sense. ^^ As for you dearie, you RP very well. I've seen much worse, and you are by no means terrible.

“I never said I would judge any actions of this clan.”
True there, but would Greed? Would he?
It didn’t matter whether or not he chose to do so…or not. What mattered was, the alliance was sealed.
But then the leader went on, speaking about deceivers. Ah, bothersome pests were they not?
“If you do no deceive us, she-cat, then we have no reason to deceive you.”
True, again.
“Her name is Stormwing.”
Giving his companion a secret smile, the golden tom rose to follow the leader. Who they have, as of yet, not received her name. [Ew, short post. Ah, well, my muses have crashed and burned lately. *isso tired*]

Satisfied that she had both their names before giving hers, she was content in giving hers now.
Amberstar.
.. Amberstar is my name. Please, come with me.
With that, she turned tail and set off for camp.
Ugh, you're not the only one.. -shot'd-

“It’s not She-cat!” Stormwing start her protest, after all hadn’t Greed said her name when he was speaking of deception to the leader cat? Maybe the amber female hadn’t paid much attention to him. Then, Greed spoke her name, and she could only give him a grateful smile. “We’ll follow you, Amberstar.”

The golden tom flicked his tail, tapping Stormwing on her dainty face as he rose to pad after Amberstar. Hopefully, Colt .45 would bring the others here soon, and this leader could see the strength that followed Greed’s dream.
His plan.

A beautiful longaired Himalayan crept along the shadows of the trees, her tail swaying lazily. She had sneaked ahead of the group. Colt. 45 was a ways behind, along with Duo and the rest of her companions.
Magnum.
She smiled coldly and evilly as she saw Greed, Stormwing, and another she-cat she didn't recognize, though her scent was very, very similar to the scent markers on this territory.
"Greed."
The white Himalayan's whisper carried over the wind, reaching the trio and hopefully Greed's ears.

Oh?
There was only one voice that he knew who carried such beatury. Greed’s grin grew larger.
So soon?
Colt .45 must have been driving the others hard, in order to catch up. The golden tom stopped, rather suddenly, his tail flicking almost lazily as he waited for the beautiful Magnum to catch up.
His gaze lifted, looking at Amberstar. Well well, she’d get to meet at least one of the others sooner than expected.
“I’m waiting, Magnum.”
His voice was low, a quiet rumble in the back of his throat, as he turned his head to look at Magnum with a golden eye. She was fun to flirt with, fun to play with, but woe behold the feline that crossed the she-cat.
Her bite was worse than her bark.

A smile spread wider across her flattened, babydoll maw. The white Himalayan padded lightly into the light, letting Greed, Stormwing, and the unfamiliar she-cat see her clear as day.
"Who is this?"
Magnum's soft, beautiful voice swayed and wafted across the cool leafbare air. Her blue-copper eyes twinkled as they met the golden tom's.
The longhaired she-cat's gaze fell upon the amber she-cat coldly. Was some one stealing her toms away from her? Magnum did not like tom-snatchers.

A white tom loped up the hill, flicking his tail as he gave a sluggish attempt at catching up to Magnum. There he was.. Colt.
Or Colt. 45, as he was formally called. He gazed at the amber leader with piercing expectance, narrowing his eyes. Indeed, Greed.
What've we have here, I shall add to Magnum's question? Snorted the white tom, ears flicking in pure irritation. Though for the most part, he wasn't quite interested in the toms.
He wanted to make sure the amber leader knew who was boss here, and make her know it good.
The amber leader narrowed her eyes right back at the two approaching cats. A she-cat, a tom.
I'd ask the same for you if I hadn't known you were with this Greed and Stormwing here. Respect your leaders, for if you wish to remain with Greed, who shall remain under my lead until this battle is through and he gets his part of our.. bargain..

The young tom, his fur an eccentric yellow, dashed after his companions. His bright eyes dancing in hyperactivity bording along the lines of insanity... or so his group of friends thought. He, on the other paw, knew he wasn't insane. Afterall, you can't be insane if you knew you weren't. You're only insane when you don't think you are, but act accordingly. Or so he wagered. Whatever be the case, this particular cat wasn't the hard-core baddies as he was associated with... but a fanatic of Fundom, the kingdom to that which he ruled.
Stopping momentarily to gather himself, the golden tom lept, aiming to squash poor Stormwing in a funlovable kitty glomp. If he was successful, he would leap to the next unsuspecting foe, giving them a friendly lick from Magnum, to Colt, and finally to Greed. For a moment, the surge of energy ceased. He looked to the golden amber she-cat; puzzled. Then a spasm would errupt, and he would be standing on perfectly white paws, a huge kitty smile on his face, mewling, "Hellooooo!" In the eccentric manner of his way.

With a laugh, the brown tabby fela rolled, cuffing at Duo with playful paws. She enjoyed his behavior, the young silly tom brought life to the group. Then he traveled on, going to the other, more stern cats. Stormwing regained her feet, looking father happy. Here she was with a clan, surrounded by her friends and greed. Why wouldn’t she?
