Of Two Worlds

[glow=brown,5,500]After a long, unsuccessful trip in trying to find Giddykit and the other young she-kit, Takumi was on his way back to the place where this wild goose chase all started. He was planning on apologizing for the disturbance to their camp, and his own sin to get them out of it. The only problem was, it seemed like everywhere he went no cat knew his language. It was frustrating really that he did not know theirs. What was more frustrating is that he didn't have the chance to even learn to speak in their tongue. Since following Giddykit, he's been more on the move since the last war in his homeland to even know which way was which. Luckily he still knew what was left and what was right, otherwise this would've been a llllloooooonnnnnggggg week.

Anyway, the siamese tom eventually made his way back to the Treeclan border, which still smelled vaguely of Giddykit and his sister. His clever blue gaze kept a sharp eye on the treetops, for he had witnessed one of their number use their wallowing branches as an asset, much like he had been taught himself. His ears and nostrils remained thoughtfully focused for any other signs of the tree cats... All the while pondering how he'll bring his message across...[/glow]

[Lucky]

Lucky jumped out of the bushes, following the scent of rabbit. Looking at the ground, the she-cat was surprised to find this huge siamese standing there. After looking at him for a moment, Lucky's eyes squinted. This strange cat looked vaguly familiar. Instinctly, she spoke in Japanese: "•‚¯‚ð•K—v‚Æ‚·‚é‚©BŽ¸‚í‚ê‚é‚©B"

Ooc: For those that don't have a translator (like me, so I don't even know if this'll work), the translation is "Do you need any help? Are you lost?".

Would it be ok if we say Lucky and Tukami are from the same Tribe and are long lost friends?

[glow=brown,5,500]The young tom, whose training would be similar to that of an older warrior, heard the sound of pawsteps quickly approaching far sooner then his quick eyes saw the she-cat herself, by then he was up on his feet, ready to defend himself if necessary. She was a striking young feline, with a coat like that of the sun, or his once-emperor's robe. She was lean and fine built, suggesting plenty of time and excersize out in the open. When she turned to look at him, the young tom had to blink away his surprise at the color of her eyes... They were pink. And the most surprising thing happened later... She spoke Japanese! Despite his training, Takumi's slender eyes opened up wide, disbelieving that their was another who spoke his tongue.[/glow]

[glow=brown,5,500]He bowed, lowering his torso while his rump remained in the air... The formal greeting from cat's from his Tribe. In doing so, the tails of his head band, which were orange, as was the rest of the cloth, blew over his face, and danced there as the wind took it, momentarily covering his blue eyes. Once he rose, the tails settled along the side of his neck, though their tips still twitched like a kit's tail.[/glow]

OOC: The possibility that they came from the same tribe is slim to none... Besides, even if she did, she doesn't wear what the members of the tribe wear to tell each other's rank. On top of that... I checked your description of Lucky, so that way I'll have a better mental picture of your cat, and it doesn't mention anything like that... So I'm a bit confused...

<sub>Amberstar stepped from the darkening shadows into the shade of light, watching the cat opposite. She was out patrolling the borders when she saw the young cat she'd recently recruited disappeared, and followed her curiously.

She'd led her to a cat waiting for Amberstar. It was apparent, for he hadn't crossed the borders and waited for her patiently. Tom, what brings you here?? She questioned politely, tail flicking.</sub>

[Lucky]

Lucky bowed the same way as the Siamese did. She smiled, how smashing he looked. Then, she turned to Amberstar. "If I may ma'am, may I translate for him? He speaks Japanese." The she-cat turned back to this Japanese speaking cat, "‚±‚ê‚ÍEmporer‚Å‚ ‚éB ”ޏ—‚͔ޏ—‚É‚È‚º˜b‚µ‚½‚¢‚ÆŽv‚¤‚©’m‚肽‚¢‚ÆŽv‚¤B" With that, Lucky went and stood next to him, to translate. Looking at him briefly, she realized that he must have been a important cat in his tribe, because of the headband.

[glow=brown,5,500]She knew... Boy that still threw him for a loop. He watched her, bowing in return in polite greeting... though he wasn\'t sure if it was sheer mimicry or simply well knowledge with his people... Perhaps it was both. In any case, his attention was stolen by paws that fell silently, yet not so much as for him to expect trouble. The cat that appeared was far more regal in her looks, and her coat was luxuriantly thick, and a superb blend of reds and oranges that would seem an asset during autumn. Her chest and chin were a pearly white;however, and cast the auburn shadow into a living breathing feline. His nose told him she was female... and instinct said of importance, but he had know idea how important until the golden belle translated her unfamiliar tongue. His blue eyes grew wide, disbelief written in every corridor, before he repeatedly bowed. He was nervous, as you could tell by the unnaturally broken and ungraceful movements, though he tried hard to hide it.

To think... An Emperor... Empress here... doing a soldier\'s duty... Why wasn\'t she in her exquisite nest, waited upon tail and claw by the shiyounin* of her Tribe. To him, it was an unimaginable idea that things here would be completely opposite from everything he knew... Lo and behold, he\'ll have know idea exactly how many times he\'ll be frequently surprised.

Once he was able to control his nervousness, the tom stilled, though kept his head and stance low in deep respect, stammered, paused long enough to still his tongue, then continued.[/glow]

In any case, he could no longer keep her gaze, and thus they fell upon the ground. A slight fear of a probable death sentence prickling his fur, but he did not budge... He was an honest cat, and if his life was ment to be lost, then so mote it be.[/glow]

<sub>Amberstar smiled, tail flicking low over the ground. She noticed his surprise, and realized that maybe it was not of his customs to see a female leader? He didn't speak their language, afterall, and saw that she was lucky for having Lucky there to translate.

Assuming she had already translated, she replied with Thank you, very much young tom. Though I did not recall seeing you with her when she betrayed our clan, I gratefully accept your apology. She shant ever be forgiven, but I shal accpet your thanks and cease my anger towards her. She looked over her shoulder, half expecting her onyx deputy to leap out at her and demand why she accepted such an apology for doing something so treacherous. But she was lenient, and willing to forgive as long as her clan shant perish.</sub>

[Lucky]

This was a good, good cat. Lucky hoped she would be able to talk with this cat some more...later. She turned to face him. "‚ ‚È‚½‚É‚æ‚Á‚Ä‚ªc‚±‚±‚É‚¢‚éˆÓŽuŽ„‚ðŽg‚Á‚Ä‚©B ‚È‚¢‚±‚Æ‚È‚é‚Ü‚½‚͉½‚Å‚àc" she said quietly. Her cheeks spelled embarrasment, though her eyes, her eyes told a different story. Her eyes told a story of delight and...love...

[glow=brown,5,500]Assuming also that the she-cat had already translated for her leader, Takumi bowed, relief setting his fur straight and his nerves to calm. He bowed again and again, mumbling his many thanks quickly, perhaps even too quickly for translator to translate. The headband began to slip at this time, forcing the tom to cease his movements so he could fit it back into place with a brown paw. It was at this time that the she-cat's additional words finally hit him, and he blushed underneath his creamy fur. His blue eyes flashed in her direction, otherwise he kept his gaze soley on the Empress.[/glow]

It wasn't, expressively because the belle had asked that he would, but because of the reason he had stated. Back home, in his Tribe, this sort of thing would not have flied by the emperor so well. He could have been beheaded, as the worst penalty, or he could have been kept a prisoner... But it would have been much better if he was killed right off, for the prisons aren't always been known as the best place to be. So for a leader, a female leader to be so merciful as this... this was highly unusual, and worth investigating to see if such honour had spread to her Tribesmen.[/glow]


*Empress, your mercy will not be forgotten. I have one thing to ask, though. I would like to stay with your Tribe, so I may get to know your honourable warriors before I go about my way.

OOC: Giddykit is a he, Amberstar.

You know what, Giddykit. I just thought of something... The Tribe he comes from was... expressly large... large enough for not everycat to know each other. Kinda like the old Chinese Empires. It is possible that Lucky could be a member of them. PM me so we can figure out what Lucky's position in the tribe would be so we can go on from there.

Lucky's tail swished happily. The siamese would stay! She turned to Amberstar, "My Lord, the cat asked if he could say here in TreeClan," she spoke in her normal bubbly tone, her accent could hardly be scented at all. She figured that the Empress would ask his name next. Then, the golden she-cat used her phychic powers to find out. Tukami. "Oh," Lucky added, "His name is Tukami," she said, a proud smirk on her face as she glanced back at him.

\"Takumi.\"

[glow=brown,5,500]He corrected, looking to the she-cat with minor concern. He never said his name, and he certianly never said it around the belle, so how in the world did she know? Perturbed, he looked back to the fiery Empress, his blue eyes locked onto her face, only occasionally looking into the lady\'s eyes. It would be disrespectful, let alone challenging, if he did so otherwise.[/glow]

[Amberstar]

<sub>She bowed her head in respect for the male, smiling as she did so. She liked his customs and his overall nature of things. She'd grow fond of him.

It would be my deepest honor to allow you into my clan to live and work in peace. Though be warned, troubles are upon us and dark are the times. You must be able to defend your clan with your life. She said with a serious manner, wanting to allow him thought before entering a soon to be blood-filled clan.</sub>

[Lucky]

Lucky rolled her eyes quickly at Takumi then started squealing for joy, "Fwee, fwee!" Stopping to tell Takumi what Amberstar had said, she spoke, *"c@‚ÍŽ^¬‚·‚éA ‚µ‚©‚µ‚ ‚È‚½‚̐¶–½Takumi‚Ì‚±‚̈ꑰ‚ðŽç‚ê‚é•K—v‚ª‚ ‚éB" Looking over her shoulder to Amberstar, she said, "Ma'am, since you can't speak Japanese, I wouldn't mind showing him around." The golden she-cat nodded to Takumi, **"Ž„‚ÍŽ¦‚·‚Ì‚Ü‚í‚è‚Łc" She started to walk away, signaling with her tail for him to come, a green band on it waving in the wind.

Ooc: *: The Empress said you can stay, but you must be able to protect this Clan with your life Takumi.
