A silky purr slipped from the nearby bushes as a slender but shaggy haired female stepped from the bush in front of the fallen she-cat. Her eyes were laughing, but her expression was soft and kind, if not a slight tired.
Only when we hunt do we lurk in trees. But you are in luck, for I am not in a tree and therefore not hunting you. She gave a tender smile. But relax, for we are a peaceful clan. I am Amberstar, leader of this here land you step paw on.

She smiled, tail flicking. Ah, but we can find a healer for that leg. If you have come to join our clan, we've never turned a cat down, which is a sorry thing to say taken that we've had many deceitful cats. But that is none to worry at this time. But you must promise me your loyalty and that you swear to be kind to all cats that reside in your clan...

It is not that I would not understand, she-cat, but that you wish not to talk about it. She gently corrected, but nonetheless she got to her white feet and padded away, letting her tail flick for her to follow.
