All the knowledge I possess anyone else can acquire, but my heart is all my own.
Paws moved the young tom on, harried and harassed by several swooping crows. He hisses, tail lashing, and slashed at them, ears flattened.
“Go ‘way; leave me alone!”
It was almost like the wail of a kit, although the tom was certainly no kit. Golden eyes have the crows a ‘glare of doom’. If looks could kill – those birds would’ve been incinerated. Literally.
It wasn’t as if their pecks hurt – the tom’s fluffy pelt protected him from feeling anything, but they were annoying!
He suddenly launched himself, powerful hind legs shooting the tom into the air, and his forepaws latched onto the main crow aggressor, jaws buried into a feathery throat. He didn’t land on his feet, but rolled instead, the large crow doing everything in its power to get free, to remain alive, but Teppobeat held on with all his strength.

((I decided to give Amberstar a new color. ^^))
Amberstar was padding along the trail upon a ridge high over his head. She could see naught on the groung, for it was shielded with overgrown grass taller than an adult cat's head. It was then that she saw it; a flash of grey as a cat launched into the air, grabbing hold of a crow and flying down. Crows were a pest to this part indeed, but to the shorter furred cats it was a painful experience. She raised a brow; this cat had excellent hunting abilities. Curiosity took over and she couldn't help but jump off the high ridge and grab on to one of the nearby trees, just over head of Teppobeat

Teppobeat finally gave the crow one last savage bite, ending the crow’s life. The other crows flapped and cawed as they fled, and the young male sat up, shaking off his dirt covered fur, working a small twig out of his fur. He was large, and there was a wild scent clinging to him – something far different from any typical rogue.
But was Teppobeat a typical rogue? There would be doubts about that – he could only be true to his heart.
And his heart had led him through hell and back – so there wasn’t much to phase him anymore.

Treeclan could use a cat like you. Said a voice above him, and she landed gracefully in front of him from the tree above him. She sat down, licking half heartedly at her paw, for she had sap now smeared across the pad. Growling irritably, she focused her attention back to the grey fuzzy tom. You display excellent fighting techniques of that of a warrior. She said lightly, looking into his hazardous eyes, the one that could supposedly kill on sight. Pity he wasn't glaring at her, she'd love to dare to look into them and see if she could live! Tell me tom, do you come from a clan? She said lightly, even though she smelt no familiar clan scent on his coat.

Teppobeat snorted in amusement at the sight of the she-cat, not bothered by her rather sudden appearance. Both ears were pricked forward, almost…eagerly? Indeed, he was happy to see another cat after traveling for so long alone – and many rogues he has met haven’t been exactly the friendly type.
“M’name’s Teppobeat. Clan? What is that I do ask?”
He flowed to his paws, the action graceful and hiding sheer power even though it was made with the energy of a young kit. Yellow hues, fierce as they were to look into, glittered with untapped glee.
“I wanna’ know!”

Indeed, she'd seen many cats. She had an entire CLAN full of 'em! But she was always happy to see knew ones just as much as the old ones. The cat had an eager to please personality about him, but the spring in his step and the burning in his eyes that showed emotion. She raked her brain for an exact definition. A group of several cats working together to put towards a clan, fighting and defending it with their lives as long as they are accepted. There are four of them, these clans. You now stand upon Treeclan, or my clan. I am Amberstar, leader of this clan I speak of.

“Sounds like fun.”
Not surprising those words found themselves falling from his mouth, but Teppobeat didn’t appear to mind.
“I was part of something like that when I was a kit. We ran, played games, fought for scraps. It was fun!”
Btu what had happened? Why was the now fully-grown tom here, instead of still back there?

It is very fun, especially when you get into the swing of things here. She peered at the tom curiously, almost hopefully, staring at him with a keen golden gaze. I will accept you into my clan, should you choose to come. However, you must pay your duty to your clan, and your respect to all and others around you. Keep that in mind as you thrive here She turned and trotted back from the dark depths from which she came from, ascending the high slope towards Treeclan, flicking her tail for him to follow

The tom watched her, fluffy tail lashing back and forth a few times. But then he bounded [yes, bounded] after her, prancing like the overgrown kit he was.
“Sure! I can do all that; you’re a swell cat to allow me to do so!”
He laughed, a rich rumble. It was easy to see that he retained a simple, happy soul. [And would probably get along quite well with Fishstick.] Odd for a loner, a rogue, to be of that sort. Many were grizzled, and bad tempered, and although Teppobeat could be sarcastic and disrespectful to cats he didn’t like, he wasn’t a bad cat.
Just a little odd.
