He nodded, oceanic hues narrowed in thought. He was certainly listening to every word Lillystar said, even if he couldn’t look at her dead on.

It was a habit he certainly needed to break.

Again, she nodded approvingly at Dodgepaw. He was certainly intelligent, but he had to get over that shyness...it would not be reccomended when dealing with cats that could play with your mind.

"You are both good fighters, Giddypaw with brute force and Dodgepaw with his tact...but you must combine these powers sucessfully to win..." she said. "Otherwise you may be lost quickly..." "Now come...we must return to the camp, for I have some things that need to be addressed..." With that she leapt through the tall grass and headed back toward the river.

Giddypaw nodded. "Yes Dodgepaw; we're friends, and true friends stick together 'til the end. I'll be with you." He winked as he passed and followed his Leader and mentor back to camp.

Dodgepaw looked to Giddypaw with a friendly smile, and then nodded.

“Let’s go.”

He leaped to his paws, following both his fellow apprentice and his leader back to the main camp.
