((We are)) peices of a falling star -- A brown-pelted tom came tap-dancing into the clearing, mewing out random notes in an improvised song. Little could be said for his voice, but he certainly was enthusiastic.
Medium cast around for Andromeda, his ears twitching as the pleasant rumble of water sounded around him.

Andromeda wasn't really paying attention, again, and in her exuberance to win the impromptu race nearly ploughed into Medium. She skidded to a stop just behind him, jumping to the side at the last moment before she ran into him.
"You win, I think," she commented. For a moment, she reflected that maybe running on a leg that had been recently chewed by an angry kit wasn't the grandest plan. Eh, no harm, no foul. She padded over to the pool and looked into it, head tilted to the side.
She sang softly under her breath... "The water is wide, I cannot cross o-er. And neither have I wings to fly..." That was another one she'd learned. Kind of like the rose song. She could barely even hear her own voice over the water, she was singing so quietly. Aparently she'd gone a little into her own world again. Not unusual, that.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Medium threw Andromeda a friendly greeting before clambering over the rocks around the pool. He craned his neck, watching his reflection curiously. The same reflection as always...
Winter had not passed long ago, and the water was still cold, but with a grin and a shout, Medium leaped right in.
The tom plunged through waters just short of being icy; he sank for ages, holding his breath, then rose for ages, slowly letting it out. Finally, his head burst from the water. "Whoo!" he gasped, laughing. "Co-o-o-old water."

"I should think so! It's barely past winter!" Andromeda laughed as she shook water off her long fur. She'd look seriously water logged it she jumped in that water. Then again, she had the feeling she might eventually end up getting splashed, and it was better to be in the water then to be splashed with it- by her reckoning, anyway.
She managed to jump in and also keep her head out of the water. Possibly it was because she jumped in as close to the water as she could get- it was more stepping off the edge she'd been on than jumping in, anyway.
It /was/ cold. She spluttered for a second, doing a waterlogged version of the dog paddle. At least it was a reasonably effective version.
"It's c-cold!" she stated.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- "I told you!" Medium chortled, splashing water in Andromeda's general direction.
He paddled around in a circle; if he was good at anything, it was swimming. "I wonder how deep this is..." He wondered aloud.
With a faint, almost sly grin, he dove.
It was a long time before he surfaced once more, with that same silly grin on his face, gasping for air but cheerful. "Deep," he said simply.

"It's probably-" but Medium dove before Andromeda could even finish her sentence. She tried to look down through the water without getting water all in her face, but didn't quite manage it. Oh, bother. She ducked her head under the water and saw Medium coming back to the surface.
"See, now if I tried that... well, I don't know what would happen. Possibly I'd float better than I'd be able to sink. But I suppose it could work the other way around," she said. The mental image was funny, anyway. With a sudden grin, Andromeda repaid the earlier splash of water with one of her own.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- With a joyful shout, Medium splashed her right back.
Then, grinning devilishly, he hoisted himself out of the water and ducked behind a rock to dodge her incoming splash, if there was one.

The return splash did indeed encounter nothing but rock. Andromeda paddled to the edge of the pool and scrambled out.
"I resembled a drowned rat," she commented with a flat but amused tone of voice. Her long hair was of course soaked and making a huge puddle at her feet. She shook some of it off, but this didn't really accomplish much, aside from making her look like she had many badly done dreadlocks.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Medium took one look at Andromeda and nearly laughed himself to heaven.
When he recovered, he looked hard at the she-cat, his gaze mock-serious. "No you don't!" he said, as if aghast. A sly grin flickered across his face. "You look like a half-drowned cat."

Andromeda was very amused by Medium's laugh, and a grin lit her face. She returned his mock serious gaze with one of her own.
"Oh, of course, how silly of me!" she said. Then her attempt at pretending to be serious dissolved, and she giggled. The sound was so odd coming from her, that when she did it, it only made her giggle more. Which led to more giggling. Ah, the vicious giggle circle!
"You're pretty soaked yourself, Tom-cat," she laughed at Medium.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- "So you say," Medium said, looking up at the falls.
In several bounds he climbed the hight of MistClan's waterfall and stood at the top, looking curiously down, his paws barely gripping the slick rocks. "Hello down there!" he called.
With a faint grin, he padded -jogged, more like- along the edge. He stopped, he jumped forwards, then backwards; he did a somersault; he teerered and tottered, leaned this way and that, pretending to fall. A fall coult very well be dangerous, but no fear or nervousness showed on the brown tom's face; he was reckless, happy.
And he was showing off, not in a concieted way so much as a silly, clowning way. But many or even most would be worried in his situation.

"Uh... er..." Andromeda stammered at Medium as he pranced about at the top of the waterfall. She paced even with him on the ground. Need she mention such a stunt would definitely get the plain tom noticed? She didn't think she would... it might encourage him.
"You should really come down! You're amazing, and all, but um... isn't it kind of slippery?" she meowed at him finally. She sat, flipping her tail back and forth and looking at least mildly concerned.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- Medium laughed joyously. "I am not afraid," he cried down amiably, and he was obviously telling the truth.
One paw slipped; for a moment the tom almost seemed about to fall, then gathered himself up and jumped.
Dropped.
Into cold, deep waters below, his eyes wide with suprise, always reckless. A moment passed, and he emerged from the water shaking and shivering and laughing weakly, his muddy amber eyes glowing wildly. A thoughtless cat; he could have died, but he was not afraid to do such things.
"I s-s-s-see what y-you mean about-t the slippery-ness," he said to Andromeda, his teeth chattering, grinning a simple, disarming grin.

"Medium..." her voice warned, a second before her friend slipped. Andromeda hopped forward as Medium fell into the pool. She stared down into the water for a moment, and then he resurfaced. Her ears flipped back, and then forward.
"Don't do that again!" she squeaked at him, head-butting his shoulder in relief that he'd just gotten soaked all over again. There was probably a reason no one played around up on top of the falls. It was kind of cold out of the water too, being soaking wet and all. Not as cold as being /in/ the water, thankfully. Pffff, water.

((We are)) peices of a falling star -- "I do what I want," Medium meowed calmly, but he was mostly teasing. He didn't want to scare his friends unduly, despite the fact that he himself did not fear the thought of going back up there again. Sure, he had almost died, but that was just it-- almost.
He stood, flashing Andromeda a sly, quirky gaze. Then he shook his brown pelt hard, splattering icewater around him in a wide circle, striking Andromeda [hopefully] in the face.

Cold water drops rained down on Andromeda as Medium shook off almost right next to her. She squealed and danced backwards, and then realized something- it was nearly impossible for her to get any more damp than she already was.
"Well... please try not to kill yourself doing what you want. I'd be sad," Andromeda finally said to the tom. She was perfectly serious- no mock severity this time. She /would/ be sad if Medium managed to get himself killed. That was an odd thought. Except for her brothers, she'd never really had any friends. She frowned for a moment in thought, and then grinned suddenly, eyes flicking to Medium from where they'd glazed over for a moment while she stared off into space.

Water! The melodious sound of running water caught this feline's attention. Unfortunately he didn't take into notice it was clan territory. But if this clan loves to be around water then count him in! Waterdance also had more toes on each paw than the normal cat.
Actually seeing the deep pool and waterfall come into view, but then halted in mid-run after seeing two other felines playing in the cold water. He quickly thought of running away if they were going to turn on him, yet he couched down hoping they didn't see him or catch his scent though.

“Psst. Hey; Waterdance?”
Paws brought the young tom towards his friend; ears pricked slightly as he lifted up his head to look around; in particular at where Waterdance was looking. Two other cats; a tom and a she-cat?
What was going on?
He figured it had been the water that had drawn the other tom here; after all, he was obsessed with it. A roll of those sky blues; and Oathkeeper waltzed right over to Waterdance’s side.
“Idiot. Why are you scared?”
They were just clan cats; after all. In the time they’ve known each other, it wasn’t surprising that Oathkeeper just seemed indifferent towards them.
After all, it wasn’t as if he had a past to speak of anyway. There was nothing there to cause him any emotions on way or another for those felines who dwelled within clans.
With one paw; he prodded Waterdance none too lightly. And, unlike the spaz, he didn’t crouch and hide either. Oh no; that wasn’t Oathkeeper’s forte.
Who were these strange clan cats? What reason were they here?
A low grumble started in Oathkeeper’s throat – eyes settling on the two others as he stood by Waterdance’s side.

Waterdance meowed out in surprise when Oathkeeper came up and began talking like it was nothing. "I'm not scared! Why would I be scared? Nope no reason to be scared here," he rattled out while up on all fours instead of in a crouch now. His eyes darted between his friend and back at the clan cats.
Most likely they have heard him now, but didn't show it as of yet. "What are you doing here anyway?" Waterdance asked as Oathkeeper began to growl at the other tom and she-cat in the distance. Most likely not the best question to be asking either. His eyes focused back on the water wanting to take a cold swim.

“Stop being such a spaz! …idiot.”
Oathkeeper shook his head in pure annoyance; however he didn’t say anything more for a long, quiet moment – his gaze upon the two cats.
“They’re clan cats. We shouldn’t be here.”
Clans? He didn’t think that was where he belonged. In fact; he was sure of it.
The tom frowned; his thoughts a flowing brook through the depths of his mind. Memories. No memories. What was his destiny?
“Couldn’t you have found somewhere else to look for a swim?”
