A Night With Giddy And Droplet

[Lucky]

Giddykit cuffed a paw and hit droplet in the head with it. "You told me miss forgetful!"

"Ah yes. Sorry I meant to keep her a secret. She was my brother's old mate. until he murdered my mum and dad..." she meowed.

[Lucky]

Giddykit shook his head, nodding off. Then it dawned on him: "How can your sister be your brother's...huh?" Giddykit was tired, he hadn't gotten much sleep since he came to MistClan. He didn't know if he had heard Droplet corectly.

"Phantomeyes once was my brother's mate!" she yowled as loud as she could in his ear.

[Lucky]

"Oh! So Phantomeyes is your sister-in-law!" Giddykit yawned sleepily, laying down.

[loutuskit]

"Yes..." she meowed letting out a huge yawn and going to sleep.

[Lucky]

"Well, we got that settled," Giddykit mumbled as he plopped down to get his first good night of sleep.

[Wishclaw]

"Who's who mate now?"

Wishclaw growled, pushing her way back into the den, past Battledream, whom she gave a small nod to. She had brought back her catch, and was now holding a mouse clenched firmly in her teeth.

She dropped it and turned to large she-cat.

"You can take a break and go get some freshkill, I'll take care of the two brats here."

And with that, she plopped a rump onto the floor, before dipping her muzzle to take a bite of mouse. When she lifted her head and had throughly licked her maw, she looked at the two kits with hard eyes.

"No food for you. Now explain who this.... Phantomeyes is."

Yes, Wishclaw had heard parts of the conversation, and now she was rather curious-- But also suspicious.

[Lucky]

Giddykit sleepily lifted his head. "Phantomeyes is Droplet's sister-in-law. She was her brother's mate until he killed Droplet's parents. I had a dream that she killed my father..." he moaned quickly. He plopped his head back down only keeping one eye open. Giddykit's stomach groaned as he watched Wishclaw eat.

"Can I eat some moss?" she wined to Wishclaw. "Please!"

[Lucky]

Giddykit got up and rubbed a tired eye with a weary paw. "Please let her eat something," he meowed to Wishclaw, "She's young and small, two moons younger than me (Giddykit was 8)." He looked at the she-cat pleedingly.

[Wishclaw]

"No. This is your lesson. Nothing can be given without something being taken. And nothing can be taken without something being given, it's a matter of logic. You are both very rude and annoying, snobby and bratish. You invaded our camp twice now, and attacked another cat on a supposive peace mission."

She licked her jaws for mouse.

"You've given nothing, so you cannot take anything. You've taken any respect you've started with that I had to you, so your being given punishment."

She smiled, beaming really. Her mood had changed now, and she was happy again.

"And of course, sillies, in the event of breaking the warrior code, as you did with leaving your old clan, one of the punishments can sometimes be not eatting anything until you've caught for the clan. Lilystar will decide this, and I'm not Lilystar!"

Wishclaw giggled and flicked her tail, before diving her open maw into her catch once again. Lifting her speckled head again, she looked at them both with twinkling eyes.

"So this Phantomeyes killed your dad in a dream? How exactly would you know it be her? Silly cat. Death is also one of the many things that happen to dirty 'ol rogues. What would you expect?"

[Lucky]

Giddykit lowered his head and rolled his eyes. Then he lifted it again. "Even if I don't get something to eat, I just want some sleep! That's all I ask!" he cried, "Gosh, when is Lilystar coming," he mumbled.

[Wishclaw]

Wishclaw giggled and gulped down the last of her mouse, before prodding Giddy with a paw and quickly retracting it.

"Then sleep, silly! Its not that hard, just let your mind drift to the magic of a different plane in time and of world!"

She beamed and dipped her head, placing it between her paws of her crouched position, before letting her own mind wander, yet could easyily snap back.

Droplet went to sleep.

While the other kits tumbled and argued and yowled, apparently "trying to sleep," Bristlekit just grunted and shifted her haunches a bit. She glanced sideways at Wishclaw and mewed softly, Are they getting on your nerves, too?

Droplet grabbed up a ball of moss and scampered over to Bristlekit. "Hey! Bristelkit wanna play with me?" she mewed through the hunk of moss. "We can pretend we're warriors!"

Droplet padded up to Bristlekit. Wanna play? she'd asked. Bristlekit hadn't played in the sense of the word in a while. Ah, open up, you stupid kit. The little one will be hurt if you say no. Just say yes, a small voice in the back of Bristlekit's head sneered. The huge kit sighed.

Sure, Droplet. I'm Bristle... Bristlekit narrowed her eyes as she thought of a good warrior name. An idea hit her, and she crouched down playfully. I'm Bristleheart! The large kit tried, claws sheathed, to cuff at the smaller kit's ear lightly.

Giddykit was tired, but this might be fun! His Apprenticeship was already two moons late... He got up, snuck up behind Bristlekit, and swatted at her tail! His claws were sheathed of course...

Droplets eye shone up with delight. "Ok! I'll be....Streamlilly!" she squeaked. "C'mon Giddy what's your warriors name!" Streamlilly wiggled her tail in delight. "Yey! Let's go on a warrior mission!" she giggled pouncing on the ball of moss. "TAKE THAT BANE!!!!" she yowled.
