[Silverthroat]

Silverthroat shook her when fur, and then gave it a lick with her rough tongue. "Thank you, umm... van... I’m sorry I didn’t quite catch your name. Now that I think about it I don’t know anyone here but Whisperstar!" Silverthroat giggled.

[Trillium]

Trillium gave a quiet laugh as she heard the medicine cat call her 'van'. "It's perfectly okay! The wandering rogue cats that I often talked to when I lived near my marsh often called me 'That...Van cat!'. I'm quite used to it! But my true name is Trillium, not at all like the names that you have around here."

[Silverthroat]

Silverthroat's mouth curled up into another giggle "Well then Trillium, welcome to the Mistclan. What may the rest of your names be?"

[Whisperstar]

Whisperstars whiskers twitched happily as the small group in the Camp of MistClan became larger. She smiled as Silverthroat also came in, then looked at Ripplekit, chuckling softly.

"Indeed, I know sometimes it may be boring to be an apprentice... you usually don't get to do very much fun Warrior things. But it's worth the wait, really."

She reminisced about her own apprentice days, when MistClan and the rest of the valley flourished. She then shook her head, and listened to the others' conversation.

"Well, the full moon is coming up, and the Clans have to meet on the Great Hill. I plan to take all of you with me. Even Ripplekit; this will be your starting point as a new MistClan Apprentice, how's that sound?"

She smiled and flicked her tailtip slightly, a bit excited but apprehensive about the meeting. What news would the other Clans give, and what news would she give? She still didn't have a Deputy... something that the other Clans would notice, and would take as a weakness.

[icekit]

Icekit leaped through the rushing water and found herself in a fairly dark carven with a group of cats discussing mater's she did not know. Icekit had no idea if anyone had noticed her so she sat patently and waited her turn to speak.

[Ripplemist]

"So I get to go to a Clan meeting thing? Now that sounds fun!" Ripplekit exclaimed. "And I'm already an apprentice?" Ripplekit blinked confusedly at Whisperstar. Her attention was suddenly diverted by the sound of the blue-gray kit who just leapt through the waterfall. The kit looked just her age. Maybe they could be friends! Shaking her coat to rid some of the splashed water, she trotted up to Icekit. "Hi, I'm Ripplekit! What's your name?" she asked, sitting down and cocking her head.

[icekit]

Icekit was surprised that someone had noticed her so soon. So Icekit said "My name is Icekit I just came from the boundaries of the territory." As Icekit spoke she became more confident and spoke louder. She wanted to become friends with Ripplekit and learn more about this conversation. Icekit wondered what this get-together thingy was and if she could go too.

[Silverthroat]

Silverthroat got to her feet and walked over to the kits. She licked icekit's ear and said "Do you have both a mentor little apprentices? Or are you still to young icekit?" Silverthroat said winking at Whisperstar.

She couldn’t tell if Icekit was soon for be an apprentices or if she was so young. She didn’t always have the best ideas of kits' ages, but she loved them. When the clans still healthily buzzing with members she would hours just stilling in the queens' den with the kits singing to them.

[icekit]

Icekit looked up and replied "I have no mentor that I know of, whats a mentor and how old do you have to be to get one? She was confused and had know Idea what this cat was talking about.

( Icekits around five and a half moons but she doesn't know that, all she knows is that Ripplekit looks about her age.)

[Ripplemist]

(Move this post 2 up! ^^; ) "Same here!" Ripplekit mewed. "Nice to meet you, Icekit!" She poked Icekit with her paw. "Hey, let's play! Tag, you're it!"

OoC: Ripplekit sound like she's high on something. ><;

[Trillium]

"A mentor, young kit," Trillium said, quickly, before Icekit joined Ripplekit's game, "Is a warrior or leader who instructs an apprentice on the art of being a warrior."

She smiled. "I was never around young kits very often in my old home. I always seemed to be the oldest of the little ones."

[icekit]

Icekit was just about to scurry after Ripplekit when she heard the warrior's response. "I want a mentor!" she said, "Do you have one?" She asked Ripplekit.

[Ripplemist]

"A mentor? Nah, I don't think I have one either. I just got here too, like around ten minutes ago." Ripplekit replied. She walked over to Trillium. "This is a random question, but are mentors boring?" Boring teachers meant no fun, quite obviously. Ripplekit hated being bored. It was always so.... so.... boring....

[icekit]

Icekit was so happy, she had found a friend or at least she thought she did. Icekit wanted a friend more than anything in the world she loved playing and being around other cats. "Tag!" she said as she pounced on Ripplekit to continue their game but then stopped to listen to what Trillium would say.

[Whisperstar]

Whisperstar couldn't help ut chuckled and feel slightly overwhelmed at the commotion. She nodded as Icekit came in, then listened to the conversation, flicking her tail before licking at her paw.

"You are not an apprentice yet, both of you, but I plan on bringing you to the full moon meeting at the Great Hill to start your apprenticeship, of sorts. There are two different kinds of apprentices, you know. Those kits who want to become warriors, and those who want to become Medicine Cats, like Silverthroat here."

She smiled again and twitched her whiskers in content as the Clan seemed to be flourishing strongly.

[Trillium]

Trillium looked up towards the sky. "Whisperstar...I can see a full moon," She padded about for a moment. Her red tail swished about as she prepared a question for the clan leader, "Does it mean anything significant in these clans' cultures?"

[icekit]

"Yahoo! were going to the meting thingy at the hill place!" exclaimed Icekit "What is this meting thingy anyway? I want to be a warrior! I'm going to be the best warrior in Mistclan!" Icekit was very excited and full of questions not the least bit shy any more.

Icekit padded over to the cave entrance and looked out at the full moon with trillium and looked up at it. She wondered why they only meet at the full moon and not at the halves and quarters too, she wondered who th other cats would be and what they wold be like, and she wondered who would be her mentor she wanted a good mentor. I would have to have a good mentor to be a good warrior. she thought.

[Whisperstar]

Whisperstar also padded to the edge of the waterfall and gazed at the full moon in the streaky sky, as she nodded.

"The full moon lights up the night brighter than any other time. StarClan is at it's strongest, and has the most power at the height of the moon phases... let us just hope that they do not become angry with the Clans tonight."

She turned toward the others and flicked her tail, eager to go and get running again. She was dreading but also looking forward to seeing the other Clans, and what was happening.

"Now it is time for us to go, and I'm bringing all of you. Trillium, Tearstream, Silvethroat, Ripplekit and Icekit, let us go to the Great Hill. Once we get out of Clan boundaries, be careful to stay close in a group."

And with that she stepped onto the ledge through the waterfall on her way to the Great Hill.
