The unusually small kit scrambled through the grass in pursuit of a mouse. Ripplekit's silver fur blew in the slight breeze, her green eyes fixed on the small furry rodent. Suddenly, she halted, as she could scent cats. Clan cats, probably. Lifting her head up to smell the air, she realised that she was at a cat Clan boundary. Her ears twitched as she heard the faint roar of a waterfall. In her short yet lonely life, she never had much contact with cats other than her family. But then again, she thought, it would be nice to live in company. Ripplekit shook herself, and took a cautious step forwards.

The Clan leader had been lounging on a rock on the side of the territory, when her hooded green eyes caught sight of the small figure cutting its way through the grass. At first she was confused at exactly what type of creature it was, until the kitten poked its small head from the grass.
Whisperstars' brows furrowed a bit, and she quickly scanned the ground for a mother or father figure, but couldn't find anything. Even though Clan leaders couldn't have kits themselves, Whisperstar was always partial to the little innocent beings.
She jumped down from the rock and made her way to the kitten, flicking her tail and giving a gently mrowl of greeting.
"Why hello there, little kit. Where are you going to, and have you lost your way?"

Ripplekit, froze, startled. "Uh, hello," she said nervously. "I'm not really going anywhere right now, since I've got nowhere to go to..." She lowered her head, several painful memories flashing in her mind. Ripplekit stepped back. "I'm sorry I'm intruding on your territory, so I'll leave if you mind," she mewed. OoC: Sorry that it's so short!

((OOC: Its ok ^^ As long as its not just one line Im perfectly fine :3))
Whisperstar purred at the kit as she gently stuck out a paw to block it from going in the opposite direction. MistClan always could use new members, whether young or old, to uphold their Clan family. She was also impressed that the bundle of fur was already a bit keen in mouse hunting- a very formidable and useful fact that Whisperstar couldn't pass up.
"Oh no, you are anything but intruding! In fact, I think I would rather you be here in my territory than out there, where theres many, many bad cats that would take you,"
Her green eyes started to be drawn toward the dark place between the Clans that was known for the Rogue Meadow, and beyond that, DuskClan.
"If you are looking for a Clan, a place to stay, I would happily provide that. In a few moons, you could be apprenticed, and would help our Clan out a great deal. So, what do you say?"

Ripplekit stopped walking backwards as she looked up at Whisperstar, wearing a look of pure happiness. "Yes, I would love to join the Clan!", she meowed. One moment she had been a loner and the next moment and probably for the rest of her life, she was a Mistclan cat.
Ooc: I suck at responses. ><|||

Whisperstar laughed softly and nodded at the small cat, and began walking northward toward the waterfall in the distance - home of the MistClan Camp. "The Camp is this way, if you'd follow me. There we can get you aquanted with the rest of the cats and you can see your new Clan, your new home." She smiled and headed off through the dense grass, her tail flicking. ((OOC: Heh its fine And after your post from this, you can transition to Trilliums post in the MistClan Main Camp to make it easier on me ))

Ripplekit grinned, and padded after the silver-sand coloured cat. A waterfall....... I wonder how it will look like, along with my new home, she thought, pausing. Remembering that she was supposed to follow Whisperstar, Ripplekit resumed bounding behind her, towards the Mistclan camp.
