Trillium could hear a waterfall in the distance, and a river cut through the landscape like a quickly moving snake. The sight filled her with fond memories of gliding through water like a fish. Having lived near a marsh for nearly five seasons, she knew what it was like to have wet paws, and the landscape before her seemed welcoming: clear, clean river water was quite preferable to a dank marsh. She lifted her ginger-tipped nose, opening her mouth for a quick moment to take in the scents in the air. A gentle aroma blew in her direction. 'So this is one of the clans that the vagabonds spoke of', she thought, 'Perhaps I can make my life here,'
The Turkish Van mix took a non-aggressive stance and darted her red tail back and forth, awaiting the cat that already resided near the distant waterfall and river.

Whisperstar calmly made her way over the rocks surrounding the deep pool of her Clan territory, the mist that gave the Clan its name swirling around her silver-grey fur. She called it border patrol, but right now she knew there would be cats there at the MistClan boundaries, wanting to be a part of the Clan.
She trotted briskly over the lush green meadow that has been sought after by TreeClan and StoneClan for a long time, taking pride that it was still hers. Eventually, she spotted a cat at the border, and Whisperstar examined the other closely before slowing her pace and coming up in front of the stranger, as to not frighten her off.
"Welcome to the MistClan boundaries. To skip long introductions and mystery, I am Whisperstar, the Clan leader of this place." She smiled gently to herself, her green eyes watchful of the cat before her, but also of the terrain behind them, always watching for rogues or imposing Clan cats. "Is there any certain reason you have come across the territory? By accident, or to find a Clan to reside, perhaps?"

Trillium had to resist tilting her head to one side. It was strange to see such a small cat as a supposed leader of a clan. Where she came from, the leaders were always very large and powerful. Even so, the van decided to approach amiably. "I come from far away. I have lived alone for nearly a year now, and I again seek the companionship of those connected with Starclan. Yes, I desire a clan, and if you are the ruler of these beautiful lands, then this clan must surely be apt to grow in power..."
Blue eyes met green, and she took a small step forward, then added, "My name is Trillium."

Whisperstar nodded, bowing her head. The name of the cat before her already showed her foreign ties, and Whisperstar was glad to see some more cats from other places. This Valley was known for accepting many, from the Tribe cats who believed in the Tribe of Endless Hunting, to Clan cats, though the deity still majored around StarClan.
"I am grateful of your words. And yes, MistClan is always willing to accept trusting cats into our midst, so that they may grow, and that we may grow as well."
Her small ear flicked slightly, as she sat on her haunches in a bit more relaxed manner.
"Just so I don't try to succumb you into MistClan, there are also other Clans in this territory. StoneClan resides in the mountains to the West, TreeClan in the East, and DuskClan to the South. I presume you might've passed by at least a few of them on your way here. Either way, I would be glad to see you as a MistClan cat."

Trillium mirrored the clan leader and sat, wrapping her red tail around her white forepaws. She gathered her thoughts before speaking, "I actually haven't had any scents of the other clans that you speak of. Even so, I'm rather partial to water, and this land seems to thrive around it. I like that."
"It would be an honor to join your clan," the van said, flicking a ginger ear at the sepia agouti.

A gentle purr arose in the Leaders throat. It always made her glad to see someone interested in MistClan, especially the water cats. "Then you have come to the right place. The official acceptance rights that they used to do in the old Clans are long abandoned. There is no longer a ceremony or an acceptance meeting for new Warriors into the Clan." She stretched a bit, and smiled outwardly this time, her whiskers twitching in the Spring breeze. "So I can accept you as a MistClan Warrior right now, unless you desire to be of another ranking." (OOC: You can be whatever you want really Warrior, Medicine Cat, or since I know you well prolly deputy. Whichever the case, just choose one and I'll change your rank from the admin n.n)

"I think," Trillium said, pleasantly, "That I would like to be a warrior. I don't hold the confidence in myself to become a deputy, nor do I have to skills of a medicine cat. A deputy would indeed be a fine position to hold, but not today."
The red and white cat rose from her sitting position, using a paw to flatten some fur that had managed to look unruly. "Could I be introduced to the camp?" she asked. But then she hesitated and sniffed the air, "I smell other cats around. Maybe we should all meet somewhere, once you have investigated their presence?"

Whisperstar smiled and nodded, her whiskers flicking slightly.
"Very well, then. It is a good choice, for Warriors are always needed. Of course, I could introduce you to the camp and the rest of the territory."
She sniffed a bit at the wind that blew across the territory, wafting the long grass stalks beneath her paws. Her large green eyes blinked slowly as she also stood, and began to head towards where she came; towards the MistClan camp.
"The other cat scents will be taken care of later in time, I presume. If they become adament enough, well, I guess we'll be seeing them sooner or later."
She laughed a bit and smiled, some of her light humor showing through.

Trillium's heart swelled when Whisperstar looked toward the waterfall's dull roars. A camp near waterfalls would be simply amazing, not to mention well hidden and protected. She was sure that this place would be a good home. She smiled at her new leader's nearly invisible humorous comment and waited for her to take the first step toward home.
(I'm kinda confused here. In the other RP I'm in, no one can be at more than one place at any given time, and here Whisperstar is in three places at once. How is that going to work? XD )

Whisperstar turned toward the waterfalls sound and began to trot off, her tailtip flicking in the air. Out of all the territories, MistClan was possibly the smallest- and would be smaller if StoneClan or TreeClan ever overtook the Grass fields. But what it lacked in size it made up for in beauty and bountifulness. Several mouse scents crossed her nose even as she took a few steps forward, but the time for hunting was not now. She turned her head back toward Trillium and smiled "The Camp is behind the waterfall, and well secluded. I hope you don't mind getting a bit wet!" And with that she started off North toward the waterfall, and the MistClan camp. (Lol, dont worry about it XD I dont mind people -sometimes- being in more than one place at once, but right now Im trying to accept as many people into the Clan as I can so it can get off the ground XD Dont worry, once the rate of new players dies down, I will be in one place at one time )

Trillium grinned, as her prediction had been correct. This place would be the most beautiful that she had ever set eyes upon. She began following a few tail-lengths behind Whisperstar as they headed toward the camp behind the waterfall.
