Honeypaw's golden tail-tip twitched in irritation. She was hopelessly lost! Great, she fumed angrily, wrong turn! Still, she managed to contain herself, and sighed inwardly, rising to her paws and gazing around. Scents of strange cats overwhelmed her--she wondered if this was one of the Clans' territories. Sighing, she padded further through the brush, hoping to see some sign of civilization.

Um... I've been letting Honeypaw sit here for days now, and I wonder if MistClan will EVER accept her... hmm... maybe Whisperstar *might* consider...! [/size]

((OOC: Sorry D: Been busy with other things, kinda havn't checked the boundaries in a while XDD;; Plus, shes only been sitting there for two days, and I was gone yesterday >.>))
Whisperstars bright eyes watched the other cat keenly, picking up it's steps and the way it acted and responded to different things. It was good to know of a potential threat before confronting it. She sniffed silently, and picked up the frustration of the other. Her whiskers twitched before she pushed through the grass and flicked her tail at the stranger.
"Welcome, stranger, to MistClan. I am Whisperstar, the Leader of the boundaries you have entered. Is there something you need help with?"

*Sorry, Whisper, I get too impatient too fast... xD*
Honeypaw looked up quickly, her eyes widening. Wow... regal... This cat stood with an air of confidence and power like Honeypaw had never seen. She smiled and dipped her head to show her submission. Greetings. I'm Honeypaw. I promise you, newcomer, I'm no threat. I was actually wondering... She caught off, blinking. I don't know if this stranger will take to me asking if I can be in their Clan, so... no right-out sayings... Please, may I stay for some prey and shelter before moving on with my journey?

Whisperstar looked down at the other cat, then strode forward and bumped her nose against the others' ear to raise her head. Whisperstar never was much of one for flattery, and if anything, she would want her Warriors to see her as an equal or a friend than something they should fear or respect.
"Welcome, Honeypaw. And of course you can- I would be happy to include you as an asset to MistClan. You are welcome to stay here as long as you want, but if it be more than a few sunrises, I ask that you uphold a vow and a code, and become part of MistClan as a member, and not just a visitor."
She smiled gently, to comfort herself and the other cat. She was wary of strangers in these dark days, but she needed Warriors and Apprentices anyway. She would have to deal with traitors and betrayers later, when she knew who they were. She just had to be cautious now.

Honeypaw dipped her head greatfully. Thank you, I'd be happy to make an asset to your Clan. Inside, she was joyful, but outside she tried not to smile, though it was unsuccessful.

the light she-cats eyes gleamed a bit as she nodded. She raised her head to the sky and scented, tasting the air before she turned North, the way towards her home that had always been. It was natural instinct now, to head North.
"The Camp is located this way, in a Cave under the waterfall. The cats are out right now, but I hope you will find what you are looking for there. I accept you as a MistClan cat,"
She explained, and began heaing toward the MistClan Camp, and the distant sound of the waterfall. Whether Honeypaw was to be an Apprentice or Warrior would be how skilled she was.

Honeypaw's eyes shone, as she followed Whisperstar, then she stopped for a moment. Ah, Whisperstar, why aren't you called Whisperpaw? Isn't that what Clan cats' names end with? She felt bewildered and afraid she had chosen the wrong name. Maybe I should have been Honeystar...

Whisperstar stopped with a paw lifted and turned her head back around to the other, and chuckled. So this is why Honeypaws name was like an apprentice, and yet she seemed like a Warrior. She was apparently new to the Clan thing. Whisperstar purred in amusement and flicked her tail.
"Names are an important thing in Clan life. We earn our names. Kit names usually start with something that is like them, whether it be a feather, a bird, a plant, but always end in kit. Apprentices have the surname of -paw, and Warriors earn their name with two things that are relevant to them. When I was an apprentice, I was Whisperpaw, and when I became a Warrior I was Whisperfur. But only Clan leaders have the surname of -star, which is given to them when they visit the Caves and recieve their nine lives."
She smiled and watched the other. She didn't mind Honeypaws name to be irrelevant to her rank, but she could see where the other Clan cats could get confused. Of course it was up to the other she-cat if she wanted to change her name or not.

Oh.. Honeypaw sounded embarrassed. Is it okay for me to change my name, then? I don't think I'm an apprentice... maybe something like Honeyspeck? She didn't really want her name to be that--she was just guessing--but she was excited at the prospect of joining Clanlife.
Honeypaw bounded in front of Whisperstar, her tail-tip twitching enthusiastically.
I can't wait!

Whisperstar flicked her ears and chuckled, nodding knowingly before stopping and flicking her tail around her paws.
"A name is an important aspect of your identity, and it is one that you will keep your entire time as a Warrior. I will give you some time to think of your name,"
She chuckled as she looked at the other cat.
"I can tell that Honeyspeck doesn't please you, so just think of one and let me know when you do."
She chuckled and flicked her ears in smusement.

Honeypaw bounced along, excited to finally be in one of the Clans she envied so! Meanwhile, she pondered her name situation.
Honeyfeather? Honeypool? Honeyflight? Honeynose? Honeyclaw? Honeyflower? Honeygrowl? Honeyvoice? Honeyheart? Honeywhisker?... Honeymist!
I like the name Honeymist, in honor of my new Clan. Honeypaw stated proudly. I rather like it.

A gentle light sparked in the MistClan leaders' eyes as she smiled and dipped her head to the other.
"Then Honeymist it is. I welcome you to MistClan as a Warrior, and hope you will enjoy it."
She knew she sounded cheesy, but Whisperstar still had a sense of pride for the old traditions. She didn't do the big cermonies as before, but the respect for the past still coursed through her mind. She began stepping toward the location of the MistClan Camp as she looked back at the other cat.
"Come, I will take you to the Camp to meet the other Clan members."

Honeymist grinned happily and padded over to Whisperstar's side, her head raised proudly.
Honeymist suddenly had a thought, and sat on her haunches, mind racing. Will they be hostile? Then, she shook her head got up on her paws again, following her new leader.
Honeymist felt the wind through her golden fur with those rich orange stripes, and she sighed contentedly. Mother, this is what my destiny is, isn't it? A Clan cat! Of all the luck! She felt spirited, now that her mother was watching her... but from where?
StarClan?
