Dewpaw looked up at the great waterfall as it showered down into the body of water. The stench of scent markings filled her nose, and she never felt so alone in her life. All she wanted was some shelter... curling up into a ball, she mewed softly to herself. A new clan - a new life. Exactly what she needed. And becoming a warrior... that would be the best thing of all.

Whisperstar walked calmly through the border grasses. Shehad heard the other cat long before she saw the body curled in the grass. Her dark tiped tail flicked as she raised her head to look at the younger cat, mrowling to it. She didn't want to surprise the other, so she sat on her haunches next to the other, tilting her head down.
"Welcome, youngling. I am Whisperstar, the Clan leader of MistClan."

Dewkit jumped at the voice that suddenly spoke beside her. She turned her head to look at the cat that claimed to be known as Whisperstar. She couldn't help but mew a sound of relief, even if this cat was to be a threat, which she doubted because of her authority. With that, the kit dipped her head respectfully. "I am Dewkit," she responded with a squeak.

The Clan Leader couldn't help but smile and purr at that. The kit seemed slightly familiar with the Clan reasonings and ranks, which was more to say than for some cats. She nodded back and flicked her tail.
"Well then, Dewkit, what is it that brings you here to MistClan territory?" She inquired curiously, but gently. The kit seemed calm enough, though. Whisperstar was glad she didn't have to deal with a terrified kit this time, for the recent stress in the Camp had put the leader on edge.
