Trying

Darkfusion sat watching the water, his orange eyes twinkling from the suns reflection in the water. He walked to the pool area and bent down to take a few sips to quench his thirst. To him the water was beautiful and cool.

After he finished taking sips of water he stood up and sighed. He saw little fish swimming around and licked his lips. He scooted closer to the pool, slowly, carefully, not to scare any of the fish. As soon as one came close he dipped his paw in as he sheathed his claws. He swung his paw back up, empty. He tried again, still nothing.

He decided to give up, probably now that he scared all the fish away. He shook the water off of his wet paw and walked away from the water to lay in the dirt.

OOC: This post will come before Lillystar is introduced to Mistclan so she can meet all these new cats who came into her territory and then allow them into the clan once she finishes the apprentice ceremonies back at the main camp.

Lillystar padded confidently around the territory of the clan Whisperstar had now left in her care. She scented the cat before she saw him. Looking across the water to the tom lying nearby she called, "Young tom, why do you tred here?"
