A small kit with long tabby fur except on her face, belly, chest and paws flopped down beside a waterfall. She had travelled a long way for a kit; all the way from Rogue Meadow. She crawled to the pool beneath the waterfall and drank.
"What is this place?" she mewed quietly as she looked around. She suddenly realised she was tired, and decided to lay down and sleep.

From a perch on the rocks by the waterfall, Lillystar watched the kit come to take a drink and then rest. She silently leapt down from her perch and approached the kitten, not wanting to frighten her.
"Do you need somewhere to stay little one?" she asked quietly.

Bristlekit jumped. She looked up, a bit afraid but more curious, to see a large she-cat.
"Y-Yes, I do," she mewled. She stepped back from the pool. Then, thinking, I should have a few more drinks of water before we go, she lapped at the water some more. She felt the she-cats eyes on her, as if they were burning into her pelt. She stood up straight and padded up to stand beside this stranger.
"Where will we be going?" Bristlekit asked quietly, looking straight into the eyes of this new cat. "Will I be staying there...for my whole life?"

Lillystar smiled gently at the kit.
"If you like yes you can stay forever..." she said, a warmth in her eyes. "I am the leader of Mistclan...that is where I wil take you and if you prove yourself to be loyal, you can become a member of my clan...oh yes I am their leader, Lillystar." She sat and waited for the kit to tell her what her answer was.

Bristlekit thought for a moment. A forever home? That would mean she could have friends--forever! And a mother! Oh, that would be amazing! she thought.
"Yes," she mewed confidently. "I'd like to stay with MistClan. Thank you, Lillystar."
She looked up at Lillystar, and sat briskly.
"When do we leave?!"

Lillystar looked at the kit fondly.
"Just as soon as you can follow, come with me!" she said, and led the kit to her new home.

Bristlekit followed Lillystar eagerly. A home! Where is it? she wondered. A waterfall poured into the pool. Suddenly Bristlekit realised that there was a cave behind it, and the voices of cats drifted outside quietly. Is...Is my new home behind the waterfall?
Bristlekit stopped and looked at Lillystar.
"Is MistClan behind that waterfall there?" Bristlekit asked, and flicked her tail in the direction of the pounding water. "Because I'm not, like, afraid of water or anything, it's just that it's, like, a waterfall, tom!"
((Ooc: "Tom" meaning when people say something like, "Totally, man", "tom" would fill in "man". I know, I stink at reference-types XD
