Where'd they go?

***[glow=brown,5,500]The siamese tom tred lightly and carefully, aware that a strong border scent lay just a few tail-lengths away. The scent trail of Giddykit and the younger Dropkit lay strong and fresh here, but unlike they, Takumi had more sense then to cross border lines without a really good reason. Lifting his pale yellow head, his brown muzzle and ears a strong contrast to his fur. His mouth lay open, taking in the strong scents of cats. Keeping in the open, Takumi waited and watched for someone, anyone to show up, and possibly lead him to the kits... Shaking his head at the thought, the young tom walked beyond the scent markers, shaking off the bad feeling he had for the injustice, for he wanted to be sure that the kits would be safe, wherever they were.[/glow]

A small young she-cat padded up shyly to a tom standing at the MistClan border. This cat was white with black paws, tail and black up side down cresent moon on her forehead and beautiful pale blue eyes. She was very shy but sweet, kind and giving once you met her. But just because she is kind and sweet dosen't make her soft, if you dare taunt her or attack her in battle she'll rip your fur off and claw your eyes out.



This cat had no family, no love, no friends, no clan.



This wonderful cat's name you ask? Her name is Moonshine.


Moonshine reached the unfimailiar cat and flattened her ears. "Hi." she muttered timidly, somewhat afraid of the larger tom.

***[glow=brown,5,500]Takumi's triangular audits swiveled, hearing the soft, uncovered pawsteps regularly falling behind him. Turning his cream furred head, he witnessed a young she-cat walk shyly in his direction. Turning to face her, lean figure not as dominating as some toms, he watched her closely as she came forward, whispering a greeting that he did not understand. Feeling, though, that she ment him no harm, he smiled lightly, before leveling his torso, rump in the air, to supply the proper greeting of his tribe.[/glow]

"Kajitsu."

[glow=brown,5,500]Raising himself back up, Takumi watched the she-cat through blue-grey eyes, noticing her fine features with the credit that was due, but first and foremost was checking to see if the kits had made it safely to... wherever they were going, but, he didn't think this she-cat would have a clue as to what he was saying.[/glow]

Moonshine repeated him. "Kajitsu." she meowed. She tilted her head. Hm, he must be a rouge like me!. Her ears twitched in amusement. He was speaking in a different tongue than her, but she would learn.

[glow=brown, 5,500]The narrow face of the tom reflected surprise for a split second, before falling into its usual form. Was it possible for another cat to know his tongue? He hadn't thought it would be possible, but this she-cat seemed to know at least something... Perhaps he should try asking her?[/glow]

"Yu-nokogiri youji neko araundo korede?"

[glow=brown,5,500]His brown tail flashed below his chest, signaling 'small' to help explain to her what he was trying to say, but he had a feeling that she was simply mimicing him, just to be polite. Blue-gray eyes watched the pale she-cat, eyes curiously roving across her lunar marking before turning back to the she-cat. Hoping beyond hope that she would understand.[/glow]

Moonshine tilted her head. "Heke?" she asked.

[glow=brown, 5,500]Takumi flicked his ears at the fae's response. No... She doesn't know... he thought, slightly crestfallen that he could find no one who could speak the same tongue. Wrapping his tail around his forepaws, the lean tom looked beyond the fae, hoping for a glance of the kits he had been accompanying until that night.[/glow]

"Neba-maindo..."

[glow=brown,5,500]He answered, but not expecting a reply at all from her, afterall, she didn't understand... Sighing gently, he stood up, bowed low and deep, saying,[/glow]

"Adiosu..."

[glow=brown,5,500]before standing up and beginning to walk slowly to a nearby tree, not at all enthuised that he'd find anyone from its perch, but it was certainly better then staying down here in the open. Once at the base, the siamese feline climbed expertly up the tree, the tails of his head band flapping wildly until he secured a perch on a branch far above the she-cat's head.[/glow]
