Light blue eyes scanned the horizon as a small, lightly built she-cat wandered along. She knew where she wanted to be, but not where she was going. That is, of her end destination she was certain- MistClan. As for how she was getting there? Well, it all depended on where she wandered, really. There are many ways to get somewhere, and not all of them are a straight line.
"Nobody knows, this little..." the cat stopped for a moment, pausing and glancing around. Well, rose wouldn't work. Rose was the next word in her song- but she was no rose. Too grey for that. What was a grey blue flower? Lilac... too many syllables.
Eventually she grew tired of this game and left it as rose.
"Nobody knows, this little rose, it might a pilgrim be..." she sang quietly to herself, and then smiled. A pilgrim indeed. For pilgrims made pilgrimages, did they not? And wasn't that, in a way, what she'd undertaken? A journey to a new place. But she'd chosen this, it was what she wanted.
The pretty she-cat was so absorbed in her thinking that she didn't even realize she'd crossed into MistClan lands, where she hoped beyond hope they'd take her- even if she wasn't much of a fighter.

Eventually, after wandering in what was probably just a very large, very lopsided circle, the she-cat realized she was smelling new smells- that of other cats. And water. She grinned crookedly. Imagine, wandering into a clan's territory without even realizing it. Ridiculous. Very normal for her, but ridiculous all the same.
Well, may as well stop before she trespassed any more. Trespassing, she thought, was not a way to win friends and influence people. "Here I come a wandering among the reeds so green," she sang lightly as she sat down where she stood. New words, old song!

Lillystar padded up to the cat.
"Excuse me, you've a lovely voice, but what are you doing here?" Lillystar asked, raising a brow.

Andromeda looked up as she was greeted. She smiled crookedly.
"I'm looking for Mistclan. I really didn't mean to trespass so far, but I got distracted," she answered honestly. Her tail tapped calmly next to her haunches.

Lillystar sat down, not feeling threatened by this cat.
"So you wandered onto my clan's territory because you became distracted?" she asked.

Andromeda considered the question for a moment. Then she shook her head with a slight frown.
"Nono, I meant to be here. I meant that I'd originally meant to stop right on the border, then I got distracted and wandered quite a bit further into your territory than I had originally intended," the grey-brown cat replied. Ears tipped forward and her eyes glanced to a wisp of some plant or other that drifted by her shoulder. She reached up and batted it down, trapping it under a paw. Then her eyes flicked back to the cat in front of her, and she grinned for a moment, removing her paw from the wisp so it could continue on its way, albeit a little smushed looking.

Lillystar knit her brows in confused amusement.
"You're an odd cat now aren't you?" she asked, chuckling. "Well distracted one, would you like to be a member of my clan?"

Andromeda chuckled in response to the leader's question. She'd had plenty call her odd behind her back, but never someone actually ask her. So it amused her- far from insulting her or anything. After all, it was true, wasn't it?
"Yes, I suppose I am. And, yes, I would very much like to join your clan," she said, and then dropped the grin, glancing honestly at the other cat, "But I have to be honest, I'm not the best fighter... I can, and I'm fast, I'm just not as good at it as others."
Honesty was always the best policy, right? And she'd hate it if someone thought she was a brilliant fighter and it later turned out causing harm when it turned out she was a far cry from amazing.

Lillystar smiled at the honesty of this cat.
"What else is a clan for, but to meet new friends and improve your skills?" she asked, cheerfully.

Andromeda grinned, and her whole face lit up.
"You make a valid point! Thank you," she said, standing now with her tail swinging back and forth anxiously but happily.

Lillystar smiled again, nodding to the other.
"Well then, shall we?" she asked, gesturing with her tail toward her clan's camp.

Andromeda nodded and followed her new leader towards Mistclan's main camp, grinning just slightly.
