Giddypaw padded wearily into the den, no longer caring what was going on outside. He was angry that he had to make a nest, but he set to work. Finding Ripplepaw's scent on her nest, he made his near her's. He hoped that he could get some sleep for once, and his hyper sister wouldn't come boudning in bothering him. "G' night!" he yawned to the empty den, as Giddypaw closed his eyes, and began to spend his first...morning, as an Apprentice in MistClan.

Nyria padded cheerfully into the apprentices' den. Seeing another friendly-looking cat, she smiled and padded over to make a nest near his.
"Sorry to bother you, but what's your name? Tell me and I'll shut my mouth and let you sleep. I am Nyria, Bristlepaw's half-sister."
Her voice was merely a whisper, hoping that the young tom wouldn't be annoyed with her. She turned back to her sister, who had just entered, and gasped.
"Oh! And this is Amara, my full-sister."
Amara padded in shyly after her sister, but was too late to stop her from talking to a young tom a little ways over. She groaned, not wanting to get on any cat's bad side on their first day in the camp of MistClan.
The young she-cat pawed at Nyria's tail, as if to say "don't bother other cats who are trying to sleep!" but she knew it would go unnoticed.

Giddypaw yawned and sat up. Rubbing a stiff eye with his paw, he smiled. "No bother," he said to Amara, "I'm too excited to sleep anyways. By the way, the name's Giddypaw. That cute gray and white one out there is Ripplepaw, my love. There's a snow white one around here somewhere, she's Icepaw. Oh, and my step-sister Streampaw's hopping around there somewhere probably. She's grayish." The tom got up and walked-unsteadily-to the entrance of the camp. He scanned the clearing a quick second and went back to his nest and sat down. "Those are just a few I know. It's my first real night in camp, and I don't know everybody." But I know they all sure know who I am. Giddypaw thought to himself worriedly, turning away. He turned back quickly so these two new cats wouldn't notice, and so they wouldn't ask about where he or his sister came from, "So, is it you two's first night in camp too?"

"Yeah, it is."
Nyria smiled. D'aaaw, he was in love! And he was right. That Ripplepaw girl out there was very pretty! She looked at her sister, batting at her tail.
"Listen, Amara, if you want something to play with, go find a ball of moss and I'll play then!"
The black apprentice had a joking look in her eyes, and she turned back to Giddypaw. Why did Bristlepaw not like this tom? He seemed nice enough. But then again, her half-sister had always been rude to cats her own age.
"I don't know if you noticed when Lilystar noticed us, but it was great. Yellin' everywhere."
She let out a little mrrrowr of laughter, finding her tale of their entrance funny.
Amara hung her head as if she was trying to explain something, and Nyria just didn't get it. She padded over to a nest beside her sisters and tried to sleep while Nyria and Giddypaw talked.

Giddypaw got up. "Did someone say ball of moss? Ooh, I love those! I haven't done something fun in ages!" The tom closed his eyes happily, jumping up and down. Then he looked to Amara. "Not very social is she?" he whispered to Amara.

"Not really."
Nyria's face went serious as she replied to Giddypaw's question about her sister, but she couldn't keep a straight face for that long. Her face broke out into a smile and her voice and energy was focused into little giggle-bursts.
"Let's go play with moss. Unless you'd like to wait until your Ripplepaw comes? Then we could all play together!"
While Amara wasn't the social butterfly, Nyria thought of the cliche, 'the more, the merrier' as her motto. She sat, smiling and licking her long chest fur occasionally, waiting for her newfound friend to answer. Of course, she didn't know if Giddypaw's girlfriend was busy or not, so she might not be able to come, but Nyria would still be happy with the three of them. Amara obeyed her sister as cheerfully as her shy personality would allow her. She trotted to an unused nest - she could tell because there were no strong cat scents on it - and scooped down to pick it up with her mouth. It was damp, as the air was, and she felt the refreshing drops of water roll along her rough tongue.
"Here we go."
Her meow was muffled by the damp moss that sunk easily in her teeth. She smiled, her eyes dull with an uneasy feeling that always came to her with meeting new cats.

Giddypaw looked around. "I think she'll be out there a while. ...Probably meeting and greeting all the new cats." The tom looked around the den again. "Let's go play in that corner over there! We don't wanna mess up the nests now do we?" Getting up and walking over, Giddypaw added mumbling, "I'm already in enough trouble..."
