Squirreltail looked around and found that he was at the mistclan boarder. He wanted to join a clan so bad and now all he had to do was wait. Wait and see if a mistclan cat is coming. Squirreltail got up and started walking around the boarder to see if any clan cats were there.

A large she-cat prowled the edges of her borders, looking for any strangers that might try to join her clan. Her pelt was soft and white, decorated with flowery splashes of ginger and saffron. Her gold dust eyes scanned the distant riverbank, watching the swirling water as it cascaded down the rocks. Suddenly, her eyes spotted movement.
Trotting up to the newcomer, she spoke. "What brings you to my Clan's borders?" |

Squirreltail stopped suddenly at the voice of the new cat. He turned around to find a large cat. The way the cat said "clan's borders" Squirreltail new this was a clan cat.
" Hello my name is Squirreltail I would like to join your clan." Squirreltail
looked and saw how huge this cat was. He couldn't believe that cats could get this big! This cat also seemed to be very friendly.
" I would also like to know your name" Squirreltail added shyly.

Lillystar grinned, this cat was cute in an awkward way. The tom amused her, so she decided to oblige his request.
"My name is Lillystar and I am the leader the clan that resides inside the caves, behind that waterfall..." she explained, gesturing with her tail. "I suppose if you could prove yourself to be a loyal cat...I could accept you...I must warn you though, I have sworn my allegiance to RisingClan and our cats are preparing for war with BoneClan..." She hoped her honesty would not scare him off. |

Squirreltail's eyes gleamed with excitement.
" I would love to serve the clan." Squirreltail said excitedly.
He heard of many horrid tales of Boneclan. The forest would be better off without them. As for allegiance to Risingclan, they sounded like good cats.

Lillystar wasn't sure if this tom knew what he was getting himself into, but she would have to deal with that when the time came. Turning, she walked up to the waterfall.
"Hope you have no problem with getting wet, because the camp is just through here..." she said, pointing to the waterfall. Then she slipped through and hoped he would follow without complaint. |
