occ//: It's fine I have a busy schedule too..
"You should get up and meet people." Icekit said to Ripplekit "some are very nice" Icekit looked around Treeclan Stoneclan and Mistclan were here where was Duskclan. "I'm going to talk to other warriors and apprentices maybe even the other clan leader if I can. I still don't know the Treeclan's leaders name." she turned to Ripplekit "Do you know by any chance" she

Snowstripe grinned to the Mist clan leader, and with a 'thank you' and a smile, she turned and headed off towards the kits. Oakstar. The treeclan leader is Oakstar. She said brightly, coming up behind Icekiet.

Having little time to actually know anyone from his new clan or anyone else for that matter, Rayheart padded slowly out into the open from his wooded home. His lithe golden frame was wilted under uncertainty and shyness, ears and tail laying low to keep inconspicuous cover. His coppery lenses scanned the area, seeing numerous cats from three of the clans. He only recognized Oakstar, his new leader, from their encounter early today. He had only met her for minutes, but he clung to the idea that she was the only one slightly familiar to him. He tried to relax his face, stand up a little straighter, and walked lightly over to the stone where she sat perched with other leaders. He was far too nervous and/or shy to speak, but being near her was close enough. He nestled down into a comfy spot, with his side to the stone. He could keep the corner of his eye on Oakstar, while gazing around the hill at the other cats.

Oakstar's mottled brow creased thoughtfully. Duskclan had not arrived...what could that mean? Shaking her head and sighing, she glanced back to notice Eatbugs had finally come...pirouetting onto the scene. Rolling her eyes, she smiled a bit uneasily and looked back to the other two leaders. Her medicine cat had been around long before she'd become leader, or even deputy...he was an institution of the TreeClan, even with his eccentric personality. Her spotted hide flicked as she looked skywards, following Whisperstar's gaze. The cool exterior she'd been trying to put up for so long, trying to impress the older leaders, softened as she watched the apprentices and warriors of the other clans mingling. For all of the Code and the almost-hostile treatment the Code demanded at territory borders, here, it seemed, all was set straight. Smiling softly, she said, quietly, "Should we be watching Duskclan? I know little about their likes, and it seems their reputation seems to be showing out rather nicely on this full moon..." Shaking her head, she watched Whisperstar and Featherstar carefully, trying to see if they were judging her, or if, perhaps, they were as annoyed and unnerved at Duskclan's absence as she.
Flicking her skin at the feel of a fly landing there, she turned to make sure it was gone before smoothing down the fur along her side for just a moment. Using her craned position, she took an opportunity to sum up the cats from the other clans here. There seemed to be a decent turnout, her own clan members included. Offering a small purr to the other two leaders as she sat upright again, she said, "It seems we are prospering for the moment, though. Thankfully my clan has reached the end of its famine." Indeed, it seemed safe to say that TreeClan was putting itself back on the map.

Maplepaw had been following Oakstar closely before he broke off to intermingle with all of the kits from the other clans. He had run along the Stoneclan territory when he first arrived in the clan lands, but he had moved on due to the lack of trees. Now it seemed like the clan had grown since then. Inwardly, he was happy that other cats had found a place to live there.
He sat back and watched conversations as he looked around for any familiar scents that he may have run across on his journey south.

(To Icekit who is sitting near Trillium) Dragonpelt waited for an answer of the young kit for its name.
"If we introduce ourselves, maybe we can be friends...do you know of my friend Shadowstreak, she is in your clan I have been told."

"No I've heard nothing about Shadowstreak but I just got to camp a few days ago." Icekit then realized she had not told him her name so she said "I'm sorry I'm Icekit and this is Trillium, who are you?" Icekit was wondering If she could learn more about the clans from this more experienced warrior.

Bring the reign of darkness upon thine Earth...
The small, black, silhoutted frame of Duskclan's Mistress drew a long, dark shadow across the grass-coated floor of the forest. The moon's great, shining orb hanging at its zenith upon the night sky. The familiar, icey blue silver eyes of Sabrestar shone like headlights within the straightcoat of darkness that now enveloped the beautiful, haunting female, stepping lightly, gracefully. Behind her, were a group of intimidating, muscular felines - each looking to be very formidable Warriors. Their fur shone sleek, with healthy fire, eyes eager and crisp.
And may the night reign supreme across the lands in Superior Shadow.
The long fur of the black she-cat was exceptionally well-groomed on this night, to show the other clans her superiority. Her long tail swayed, her face stoic and emotionless - aside from the edged spark within the depths of her cold eyes. Her long whiskers glistened like thin strips of silver within the moonlight, her sharpened face a look of plain innocence: which was a lie. Her flawless face was unmarred by impurities - aside from the two, tiny scars stretching below her left eye. Aside from that, Sabrestar indeed looked like a Queen.
The Queen. Of Darkness. The Shadow Stalker.
The Leader did not seem daunted by the impressive figures of the three Clan Leaders in front of her - she looked upon them as equals, like high-ranked Officers would look upon their fellow piers. Except she offered no warmth, no friendship. Only a callous, mutual aquaintence. She had no Deputy, as of the moment: although she was keeping her eyes upon Bane. For perhaps, perhaps...
The female did not let her thoughts wander. Stepping lightly atop the steep hill in which the Leaders stood upon, the DuskClan Leader took her rightful place besides Oakstar. Sabrestar was drawfed besides the size of Oakstar, TreeClan's Leader - however, that did not change the eloquent strenght and intimidation that seemed to resonate off Sabrestar like a physical aura. Her clear, baleful eyes glittered like chipped ice within the night's darkness.
"May the Gathering commence."

Post by Bane on Jun 12, 2006 16:21:04 GMT -5
The black tom's thick fur rippled as his muscles flexed, padding slightly behind his leader and eyes directed straight forward. They remained deep chasms of a neutral expression - not emotionless, but neutral. And yes, there was a difference. An emotionless expression often showed you were trying to hide something. Bane had nothing to hide. Atleast, nothing that he would feel guilty about hiding from the others. His grey, dead eye seemed lighter on this night, almost as if it was purely a white ball, not an eye. But his green eye remained slitted, observing all the cats that were gathered.
They all looked like idiots, and it was meetings like this that made Bane remember why he'd decided to stay a rogue. But all in due time, all in due time. The formidable brute snorted as Sabrestar made her way to stand next to the three other leaders, stalking through the crowds in a panther-like fashion to sit in the middle somewhere, but far away from any different clan cats. He didn't want to mingle, he hardly even wanted to be here. But it was something to do with the clan cats meeting in peace to discuss stuff. Stuff, like any of that was important. The usual 'my clan is good, okay goodbye' probably. Hopefully these clan gatherings might spark up some interest, when Bane was done.
The tom cast another gaze to the morons that surrounded him, making sure none of them had any funny ideas of approaching him. This may be some peaceful meeting, but he wasn't afraid to teach a wandering kit that it shouldn't wander too near.[/size]

(To Icekit) Trillium seemed uninterested in him, so Dragonpelt decided to talk to Icekit.
"My name is Dragonpelt young one, I'm a new member of Stoneclan," he told her. "This is all so confusing...the clans just reforming, no one knows anyone and I've not even been made an official warrior and here I am at a gathering...its all too much..." He realized that his intellectual speech might be too much for the kitten. He smiled at her and then lowered his head to her level. "Sorry, don't let my speech bore you...I came from a different land entirely...and sometimes I don't realize how my tongue runs away from me...how are you doing tonight?"

'Trot' is the word. Word for what, you may ask? The word that so perfectly describes the very action taken by Shocksoul, the Duskclan Medicine Cat. The very action he did so ever so gracefully take, instead of the usual 'walk', because trot sounds like a horse and they are such funny creatures, and we all want to be like them.
"And I raise my paws, and I RAKE. THE. SKIEEEEES," sang the nice little bland tabby, who's name was...you should know this, he's sexy and popular...SHOCKSOUL. Oh yes, the sex is he. Of course, not as the sex as his leader, who was in fact THE SEXES of sex/the word sex is in the sentence there a lot, let's stop with it and move onto the kitty-cats.
Shocksoul's amber gaze flickered around the gathering, and spotting no one he rather intended to sit with, whot whot, he sat down by himself, being the little emo/not emo cat he is.
See, that is a very fancy paragraph, is what that is.

(to dragonpelt) Icekit was happy to find someone who could get lost talking like herself. "Your speech dose not bother me, in fact I want you to talk more and tell me what the heck is going on here!"

Whisperstars' watchful eyes caught sight of Sabrestar as the she-cat slinked upon the hill. Of course, DuskClan had the longest way to travel to the Great Hill. her whiskers twitched and stood on end while the DuskClan cats settled, and she couldn't help but breathe a silent breath of relief that things were finally how they had been so many seasons ago. She made sure to aknowledge Oakstar and a smile and a nod about the flourish of the Clans, before dipping her head at Sabrestar and walking up to the edge of the small rock on which the Clan Leaders were gathered. Her ears flicked back every so often, not feeling as comfortable with three of the strongest cats at her back. But it was the peace of the full moon, and she had to respect that.
"You heard Sabrestar, everyone. Now quiet down, the full moon meeting has begun. All four Clans have gathered atop the Great Hill as our ancestors did before us, to talk, and possibly argue, about our Clans and the way things are going. And with that, I will start it off with MistClan. "As you all know, everycat suffered from the two-legs and disease last season, but we are starting to flourish again. I have had many cats wander into MistClan looking for a place to stay, and we have many new Warriors and kits. As for scouting, the stench of two-legs have been discovered above the rocks where the water falls, but it is away from the Valley and I find no threat in it."
She blinked and flicked her ears, looking around at the other cats as the moonlight reflected off her light pelt. She didn't say anything about the meadow in front of MistClan; why start controversy? She would be silent about it unless another Clan brought it up.
"Otherwise... I don't have much else to say."
She turned and walked back to the leaders, her tail twitching, and she nodded at the others, letting the next Clan leader go up first.

(To Icekit) Dragonpelt lowered his voice so he would not disturb the leaders and kept an ear open for their words. He turned to Icekit again and flicked the youngling's ear with his paw in a gesture of comfort and tease.
"Do not worry young Icekit, I don't understand it well either, but I know as a cat of more years than yourself that this gathering is important, so perhaps we should listen..." he told her.

Trillium realized that she had let her listening get in the way of meeting a perfectly nice-looking cat (Dragonpelt), and was disapointed in herself for a moment. Then she turned her ears toward the clan leaders, who were gathered on the rock outcropping.
She cuckled to herself when she realized that all of the leaders were female.
((Watch in fear as I refer to a conversation we all had in the general forum. Rrr. I'll have to be more active during these meetings! XD))

Snowstripe, a Warrior of the Stoneclan.. She said proudly, her chest swelling at the meer thought of it. Her voice died as the Mistclan Leader spoke, and she looked up. She looked alarmed when two-legs were mentioned, but smoothed her fur down as no threat was to their clans. Yet. She looked between the rest of the three, awaiting their announcements.
Goldenpaw lay before the leaders in the midst of all the clan cats. Cats of different shades and colors, breeds and sizes and clans. He'd never seen such variety of cats, even when the rogue meadows flocked with cats. The leaders spoke and the one he recognized as Mistclan leader spoke. He calmly heard her words out, and nodded respectfully to Whisperstar.

Icekit followed Trillium's gaze and looked at the leaders. Which one would speak next? Icekit quickly dipped her head to Dragonpelt "Thank you for talking to me, you are very kind. I hope I see you before the end of the meeting but I must go now." and Icekit went to sit by Ripplekit I wonder who shes meet. she thought to her self.

Ripplekit glanced over at Icekit as she arrived to sit next to her. "Look at the leaders! They all look so.... uh... cool," she mused. Silhouetted against the full moon, their appearance was one of majesty. Her tail twitched as she looked at Sabrestar and her ears flattened for a moment. The eerie black cat with the cold silver eyes frightened Ripplekit.
