Whisperstar paddded up the Great Hill which stood closer to the TreeClan territory, if anything else. Her muscles worked smoothly under her light fur, as her green eyes watched the surrounding territory. The Hill was now called 'Great' for any little reason- it was one of the tallest places in the Valley, even taller than the TreeClan trees.
She finally reached the top and examined it. Everything was just how it was left- the large stone slab precariously perched at the climax of the hill. It looked unstable and ready to fall, but Whisperstar and the other Clan leaders knew that it had upheld cats on it for many many seasons. She made her way over and sniffed the old stone, rubbing her nose over it to feel its odd smooth texture.
She jumped on the top and sat carefully on her haunches, her tail curled around her paws. Her back was facing her own territory, so she could see the directions of all three other Clans. Her Clan was the first one here, so she waited patiently for the others so the Meeting could begin under the full moon.

Silverthroat came up behind Whisperstar. She looked to the other clans’ territory, still thinking ever so highly of theirs. It had everything that it would ever need, plus a little of what the other clans had. "First ones here" Silverthroat said, watching the other cats trot up the hill. Just seeing the kits following too made her smile.
"Whisperstar, when do you think the other clans will get here?" Silverthroat asked nervously, fearing the sight of her elder clan, Duskclan. Never the less, she looked forward to seeing the clans that took her in with no questions, the Stoneclan and Treeclan. Each one had taught her lessons she would never forget. She waited patiently for a reply from Whisperstar

"We're at the gathering!, and the first ones here it looks like." said Icekit excitedly as she bounded up the slope. She looked over at Ripplekit and asked "Do you know what the names are of the other clans are coming?" Icekit settled herself in the long grass and waited for Ripplekits response and for the gathering to begin.

Featherstar padded up the hill and sat down beside Whisperstar and Silverthroat.Hello Whisperstar, Silverthroat, I see that StoneClan is the second to arrive. How is MistClan doing? Featherstar hoped that MistClan was growing. Even though the two clans were rivals, they were all still cats united under StarClan. Because of this, all clan cats had a special bond. At least in Featherstar's mind they did. She watched her clan make their way into the area. She smiled at the number. Partly because of pride, and partly because she wanted all of her new members to get the experience of a Gathering, she'd brought all of her warriors, except FrostEye, her deputy. There needed to be someone at the camp, in case of disaster. Featherstar waited for the MistClan leader's response.

(OOC: Okay I know Dragonpelt has only just gotten into Stoneclan back in the camp, but Featherstar said she was bringing everyone so I guess he is here.)
Dragonpelt's bobtail waved in excitement as he took in his surroundings. As far as he could hear, only one other clan was there at the moment. He looked around to see if he could spot Shadowstreak. Since her leader was here, he wondered if she had been allowed to come.
A bit nervously, he walked up to Featherstar and the Mistclan leader who he believed was named Whisperstar.
"Excuse me...Whisperstar was it?" he asked. "Did you happen to invite a she-cat named Shadowstreak to this gathering? She's a friend of mine."

Whisperstar nodded to her Medicine Cat and began to reply when the StoneClan Leader arrived, and she dipped her head to the other leader, smiling in return. It was always nice to have a peace at the Great Hill.
"Yes, TreeClan and DuskClan still have yet to arrive. And MistClan is thriving well, are Warriors and numbers are growing by the day."
She didn't say much more, saving a lot of it for the real meeting, and also not watnign to give too much away about the strengths and weaknesses of a Clan. She then blinked her bright green eyes and turned toward the other cat that had spoken, her whiskers twitching slightly.
"Ah yes, Shadowstreak... she had recently been accepted into the Clan, but at a little too late of time to be a part of the ceremony tonight. I trust that you will see her at the next full moon." She smiled reassuringly to uphold her promise to this cat, but felt a slight twang of unease that two cats from two Clans were friends. But it had happened well in the past, and she was glad that it was StoneClan the cat was from and not another Clan.

Trillium padded closely behind Silverthroat, not quite knowing what to do. This was certainly the largest number of cats that she had ever seen in one place. And Whisperstar said that only two had arrived so far. This was bound to get interesting.

"Stoneclan is here!" Said Icekit excitedly "Who's their leader?" Icekit was now sitting next to Trillium and directed these questions toward her: "Who are Treeclan and Duskclan? And who are there leaders?" she could of asked a hundered thousand more questions but kept quiet so she would not annoy the warrior.

Dragonpelt looked sadly at Whisperstar and sighed deeply.
"I understand..." he said, backing away to stand by his leader Featherstar. "It's just hard being among so many cats I do not know...she befirended me before either of us joined clans..." Dragonpelt glanced around at the group of other cats, wondering if anyone would talk to him or if he would have to interrupt another conversation to be noticed.
"Featherstar...?" he whispered close to her ear. "I don't mean to bother you again...but I know no one, could you perhaps point out those who you know to be friendly?"

I'm sorry Dragonpelt, but I don't know many of the warriors of MistClan. Of course I know Whisperstar and Silverthroat. Trillium seems to be nice. But, why don't you go see for yourself? Gatherings are meant for talking with the other clans. Go on. She nudged him gently.Oh, young kit, I, Featherstar am the leader of StoneClan to answer your question. She realized that this might not have been polite. The kit had been talking to Trillium. She glanced apologetically at the MistClan warrior, apologizing for interrupting, without speaking.

Dragonpelt's skin flushed hot under his fur as his new leader urged him to make friends. "Okay then..." he muttered as he walked away. He seeked out Trillium and the young kit whose name he didn't know. "Greetings, my name's Dragonpelt..." he started. "How are you two doing this evening?" His words were clumsy and sounded absurdly formal, but being from another country of origin and knowing no one, he didn't know how else to act.

Icekit turned around startled and said"Your leader of Stoneclan! I can't believe It on my first meeting at the meeting place,or whatever this place is called I get to talk to a leader from another clan! I can't wait to tell Ripplekit! Who are you ?" Icekit added to Dragonpelt. She (Icekit) was so excited she could hardly contain herself, so she just blabbed on,
What are the other leaders names? I like your name! It's better than mine. Where is Stoneclan's territory? I guess it would be in the mountains because mountains are made of stone. Where are the other clans? Are they ever going to show up? I'm soooo anxious!!!
occ: you don't have to answer any of the questions in the second paragraph Icekit was just excited and blabbed on.

Snowstripe padded in after her leader, tail swishing in sheer excitement for the upcoming event. She's heard of the gatherings, and often saw cats cross the Rogue meadows where she lived to get there. It was often spoken about amongst the rogues.
She looked up in anticipation as the other cats came into view, and she bounded forward to Whisperstar, eyes bright. She was keen to meet all the Clan leaders, and hopefully some other Warriors. Hello, Whisperstar! I'm Snowstripe, of the Stoneclan! She said brightly, smiling to all the other cats of the Mistclan.

After dipping her head awkwardly to the mistclan leader she turned to face Snowstripe. She quickly blinked in greeting and then spun around to meet the other cats.

She'd surely be looked upon badly for arriving late to her first full moon as a ClanLeader. Laying her ears back in punishment and frustration, she leapt through the lower branches of her territory, up until she reached the border. Crouching, prepping for a large jump, she flew towards the ground and landed in a way that seemed to be a combination of balance and split-second timing. Sprinting the rest of the way up the hill to where the other leaders sat, she seated herself just as Featherstar was urging a warrior to get acquainted with those around him. Lashing her flank with a chocolate-and-rust striped tail, she looked about calmly and hoped the panic of her late arrival didn't show in her vivid orange eyes. "My apologies, friend-leaders. We've a bounty of apprentices and it seems never enough time to train them. The nature of her voice meant that it seemed a rather weak joke, and she glanced over her shoulder to see if any of her clanmates were here just yet. Turning back and looking around, her youthful face intense and alert, she said, quietly, "Any dark news spread our way?" It meant the same old dark misfortune...dogs, humans, metal monsters...if anyone had heard anything, she'd hoped they'd share a warning.

Goldenpaw flanked Oakstar, darting to and fro after her. His keen eyes looked about warily and his showering bronze gold fur brushed about his frame in the full moon. He looked truly magnificent, like a full fledged warrior. His dainty and pure gold paws step by step seemed like a golden blur against the world, pounding away.
Cats appeared in the distance, bathed in moon light. He could see several cats, and his long fluffy tail stood on end in anticipation. He slowed down as he ended up by the group of leaders. Shy, he looked around for someone to talk to.
Snowstripe watched the Treeclan leader appear in the brush and take her place in the circle of Leaders. Now all's that was left was the defiant Duskclan Leader, Sabrestar. Her ears stood on end. Troubles? She'd hoped not. It would be her first time at the Gathering, and she hoped she wouldn't be spending it fighting off dogs and two legs.. Or worse yet running from them.

Icekit ran over to Ripplekit "Treeclan! Treeclan are here!" said Icekit "The gathering going to start soon! I wonder where Duskclan is?" then she carried on "I just talked to Featherstar leader of Stoneclan, you should meet her she's very nice. Icekit waited for Ripplekits reply patiently.

Whisperstar couldn't help but laugh at little Icekit. Such energy and excitement, but Whisperstar couldn't blame her. She remembered er first gathering... she was much the same way. The leaders shoulders relaxed slightly as she sall Oakstar come up to the hill also. She smiled in reassurance at the other leader, and dipped her head.
"Do not worry too much about being late. DuskClan has yet to arrive... yet I'm not sure what's going on in Sabrestars mind. But so far, the valley has been safe, at least on the North side. I smelt two-leg scent above our waterfall, but it was faint and away from the valley. Other than that, no dark doings here."
She turned to Snowstripe and smiled, mrowling a greeting back. "Hello Snowstripe, and nice meeting you. You look like a fine Warrior, yourself." She flicked her tail lightly, happy to see the Clan cats getting along and their eager tension.
She then looked up at the full moon, making sure StarClan was still there, despite DuskClan not showing yet. What if they never showed? Would StarClan be angry if the three Clans started the meeting on their own? Or should they not actually have a meeting, but just mildly talk amoung the leaders, or would StarClan reject that too?

Ripplekit snapped out of one of her 'staring blankly into space' moments. "Woah, you already met a leader? Cool!" Ripplekit whacked herself lightly with her paw. "And while I've done nothing but just sit here." OoC: Sorry I haven't been typing much! ^^; I've got a pretty hectic schedule. School ends on Friday, so I'll have more freedom after the 17th.

"The wilted flowers that I gave Were not as nice as your bouqet All the lyrics that I wrote Not as smart as the words you spoke The starlight above my hometown Aint as bright as the star I've found Every drawing that I drew Was never ever as cute as you!"
Came the whimsical tune of song, jolly and upbeat as all songs should be. The mackeral brown tabby hopped along in a jolly fashion, his pace not that of a fast one, and every now and then he would shimmy backwards in a dancing fashion, which evidently just slowed him down further. His eyes were closed in a jolly fashion, and it was a surprise he didn't trip over any rocks in this darkness. His hind legs lifted up and clicked together, and he carried on his jolly trot up the hill.
"Serious as a heart attack I'm looking in my almanac Ive gotta find out all the things And find out where she got her wings Shimmy shimmy quarter turn I feel like I will never learn How can I check lost and found When I'm too busy getting down!"
At this, the tabby tom did some odd jive, followed by a 'pah!'. He was compeltely absorbed in his little dance, he hadn't noticed that his clan leader, Oakstar, had already got to the top of the hill, whereas he was hardly half way there.
"The night time is so pretty With all the stars above your eyes I'm sneaking out and making ties States that keep us far apart Track the beating with a chart Mark the rythyms that I shook Everytime I caught you look" The tom ran to catch up, though his run wasn't very fast. His recent case of arthritis had made that happen. Thankfully he'd found something to be useful for, however - herbs and medicines, though he hated it when the apprentices were made to go to chores for him. Gah, the little creatures were revolting! The fairly old tom sat down away from any small creatures, looking around at the small crowd of kitties. His paw tapped on the ground as he murmered the end of his song. "Gotta get it back to A back up plan to find you Start acceleration Take it back to square one
