Hunting Down Sunsetfire of StealthClan! Yesh, I AM hunting you. XP
----- Stomp. Stomp. Stomp.
One could feel the frustration in the air as a dark grey queen trudged her way through the meadow's tall grasses. Her brilliant orange eyes glared at the ground agrily as she tried to find some sign of life... A print, a broken twig, a scent, anything! Alas, it seemed futile. The feline was lost. Of course, she could not admit this to herself. She was just... misplaced at the moment.
Finding a log poking from between the grasses, she leapt heavily upon it, hoping to see over the irritating plants. She was pleased to see the sky for once, watching the beautiful hues seep together to make a magnificent sunset. Remembering her current predicament, though, she scanned the horizon of rustling grasses, ears pricked forward to hear anything. She sat there frozen for a moment, like a statue with orange marbles glowing from its eyesockets.
After a moment, she let herself down from the log with a harsh sigh. Things were definately not going her way for the time being. That's not how things should be. Things should be under control and going her way. Curse those things...
Then an idea popped into the feline's noggin. If anycat were around, they could surely hear her, could they not? What a splendid idea! She would have patted herself on the back except for the fact that it was physically impossible for a cat to do so. Oh well, on with the idea.
"Hullo!" Her voice boomed out, melodious but firm. Birds flew from their roots in the grasses and nearby trees, for in fact, her voice could reach unimaginable decibles. Yeah, she was loud.
She paused again as she had ontop of the log, ears pricked for an answer she hoped would come.

Sunsetfire had slipped away from his clan mates, hoping for a little time by himself. Day by day they drew eve closer to their new territory – their new home. Pride burst forth in the young tom’s amber jewels; turning them to an infernal flame. Each cat he had accepted thus far had been proven – in his eyes at least – to be a valuable and honorable warrior for Stealthclan.
But…what was that? The golden tom lifted his head, ears flicked forward in curiousity. A…voice?
“Hello!”
He called out, tail swishing as he tried to pin-point the owner of the voice. Not too far away, of course, since they were within calling range…and by the voice alone, he could tell the owner was female.
No matter. It wasn’t as if Sunsetfire was one who let any cat go unheeded if they needed assistance. The golden-colored tom padded forward, nose twitching as he followed her scent.
“Hello?”

Wha? Someone answered her? She was thoroughly pleased that the reply was so sudden. She couldn't stand being lo... temperarily misplaced... any longer.
"Oy, I'm over here!" She replied, hoping to lead the masculine voice to over to her. "By the way, do you know where I can find Sunsetfire of StealthClan? I'm kinda lookin' for him."
She hoped that the tom was an ally of StealthClan. If not, she could have just unleashed some angry cat on herself. And that wouldn't be good. She padded a few steps in the direction of the other's voice, hoping to close the gap between them as soon as possible. Patience wasn't one of her virtues, aparently. Her dark tail twitched excitedly, eager to get the ball rolling, so to speak. StealthClan was exactly where she was supposed to be... Fighting against murderers and cannibals. Fighting for what was right.

Sunsetfire picked up his pace, voicing at a quick lope until he nearly collided with the she-cat who had called him. There was a flash of gold, as the tom leaped backwards in a skillfully quick motion. He did not know this fela, and even though he remained a kind gentleman of a feline, he still maintained a wariness that any good warrior had.
“Why do you seek me, pretty fae?”
The golden tom was young, but he had the frame and body structure of an adult, having inherited Bane’s size. Wisdom seeped within amber hues as he gave the fae a once-over, not in threat but in curiosity. Why would a pretty thing such as herself seek out him and his clan?

The fem remained bluntly unaware that this tom was giving her a look-over. She simply looked at the tom with alarm as he almost ran into her, then with hope at hearing that he was who she was looking for.
"You are Sunsetfire? Of StealthClan?" The reply was not skeptic, but filled with awe. She couldn't help but notice his robust and healthy figure. She gave a quick bow. Then her fiery eyes met his. "I seek you 'cause I wish for acceptance, m'lord."
True, the tom was hansome, and yes, he was charming. The 'pretty fae' comment almost made her blush. But they had only just met. She did not want to assume that he was really like this... Maybe a suave rouse? Well, these thoughts could bury themselves in her mind, for now was the time for business. She wanted into StealthClan and she would do anything to prove herself.

There was no rouse. There was nothing dishonorable within the young tom’s manner. He was, as a fault oftentimes, bluntly honest. The female was pretty, and he had responded accordingly.
“Why do you seek to join Stealthclan? Mind you, any cat willing to serve as a warrior against Boneclan is welcomed, but I am, indeed, curious. You do realize that we consist mainly of warriors, and as soon as you join, you too shall become one. You may lose your pretty looks within battle; much less your very life.”
Amber hues met her gaze, and held it. There was no dishonesty about him; he had merely said what was true. As a warrior, one must stand ready to fight at a moment’s notice. Did the female want that sort of life?
“It can be difficult. Training daily, hunting, preparations. However, there are rewards. We stand united as a single body. We fight as one; knowing each other’s weaknesses and giving each other our strengths. We are together, more than just a clan, but as a family of sorts.”
His words flowed, proud and confident within Stealthclan.
“And we have one goal. So, pretty fae, is that the life you seek?”

"Where did he disappear to?"
The tailless she-cat mummbled under her breath, worry in her eyes. Did he go and get himself hurt? She hoped not, but good thing she knew how to fix wounds, even though her method was different from those of the cats' in the forest.
Then she heard a loud 'Hello!' followed by another, that of Sunsetfire's.
"Ahah!"
She grinned, then romped off to where they both stood. She had gotten there right after the young tom had just finshed saying what their goal was, though, Puffin, oblivious to everything, pounced at Sunsetfire. As she flew through the air (She could jump rather far with those strong legs!) she meowed a form of a greeting to him.

…hm…? What was tha---oh no!
Sunsetfire made an undignified scramble to get away from the ‘Incredible Flying Puffin!’ but didn’t move fast enough to avoid her pounce. Her solid form and the momentum of her pouncing directly at him sent him rolling.
…but that was not the demolishing blow for Sunsetfire. Oh no! He wasn’t going down without a ‘fight’. Claws sheathed protectively, he gripped onto her as he fell, dragging her down with him. Hey, if he was going down; why not bring company?
Ignoring the fact that just a moment ago, he had been speaking to the other fae, he tussled with Puffin playfully. He has spoken truthfully; every cat he had accepted into his clan had become very dear.

A surprised sqweak was all that came from this 'Incredible Flying Puffin' when she was dragged down also, but ha ha! Her three years being a ship cat wasn't for nothing!
With hind claws tucked safely away in the sleath, she kicked at him, not hard enough to hurt him, just enough to take the breath out of him. He was lucky Puffin didn't sit on him!
.... Actually... Thats not a half bad idea.....

Just what had Sunsetfire gotten himself into? This wasn’t a serious, all out fight, so he didn’t unsheathe his claws and attack like a true warrior – Puffin was a loving she-cat. But it was times like this he wished he didn’t fall into these situations.
“Don’t you dare Puff!”
He managed to squeak out, sounding funny as his breath returned. He knew what she was planning, and didn’t think it would be very *ahem* ‘leaderly’ to be sat upon.

"I dare!"
The sea going kitty laughed, and struggled out of Sunsetfire's grip... Then promply sat on him, and she purposely rubbed her tailless rump down as if getting comfortable. She wasn't exactly slim, she was a tiny bit plump, plus she had a fair bit a muscle. That ment she weight enough to keep the tom down!
Well, at this moment, Puffin noticed the other she-cat, and started purring, but still firmly held her spot on her leaders' body.
"Hello!"
She chirped, beaming.
"I'm Puffin!"
She wasn't the lease be embarressed at all, why would she be? She tapped a paw on Sunsetfire.
"And this here is Pancake!"

The stalks of dead wheat and grass parted to let the small tom through as Sparrowpaw went after the young StealtchClan leader. Where is he, he wondered. And his shocked gaze fixed on Sunsetfire and he almost walked right into the she-cat stranger. If he could have laughed, he would have keeled over from the hilariousness of the situation.

Yes, Jay knew that their leader had wandered off with the intent to maybe NOT be followed by everyone else. But when first Puffin, and then Sparrowpaw had left, he'd waited only for a moment before following with a half apologetic nod to everyone else.
Once he got close enough, they were hard to find, what with the little tussle going on. He nearly stepped on Sparrowpaw as he raced to see if he was missing anything amusing. With a sideways leap, he avoided the little cat, and plopped down where he landed, laughing too hard to stand up.
"Did I hear someone say pancake? Is it dog pile on Sunsetfire time?" he asked innocently, after a moment, tail still flipping in amusement. For a moment, he didn't even notice the new female. When he did, he grinned at her, wondering what a newcomer must think of this craziness.

The sea going kitty looked at the two newcomers, then beamed at them also, watching as Jay doubled over in laughter. At her mention of a dogpile, Puffin grinned.
"A dogpile? Why not! ALL ABOARD THE S.S. PANCAKE!"

Oh nice. It seemed all of StealthClan was there to welcome her. Whoopee. She managed to hide an immense urge to burst out laughing as Puffin glomped her leader, but felt rather annoyed as two more warriors appeared. Let's just have a big party, shall we?
Ah, but she knew she was being a bit, fat stick-in-the-mud. No one liked those. Quickly, she decided to throw off the old grump mood and again let Puffin's antics amuse her. A smile quickly spread over her dark face, orange eyes glinting with humor. These were cats that were friendly with each other like brothers and sisters. It was inspiring. She knew she could be happy here in this life, even with the cons Sunsetfire had listed off for her. In betwixt the choas, after Pancake had been introduced, the 'pretty fae' tried to answer the leader's question.
"M'Lord, aye, this is the life I seek." She lowered her face so she could see his smothered body underneath Puffin. "One of honor and pride, serving others and willing to lose it all for a good cause."
She looked at him with joy dancing across her face, smile broadened by the sense of good tides and family in the air.
"So am I in?"

Sparrowpaw dodged away from Jaysong as he shook his head at Puffin, his mouth open in soundless laughter. He would hate to be poor Sunsetfire if they all went to sit on him, and so he went over to the she-cat and tried to prod and nudge her off the flattened tom with one small brown paw. Then he stopped, remembering the new she-cat. Withdrawing his paw, he walked over to her and gave a slight bow. Then he went back to poking the other she-cat on top of the squashed golden kit.

Another new cat padded off to the group of cats. Her name was Reedpaw. Her beautiful gray tabby fur blew in the wind as her brilliant green eyes shimmered. "Hello." she said. "Exuse me but what is going on?" she said tilting her head.

Puffin was watching Autumsky when the little kitty came a prodded her. She turned her head and purred, though a fake evil grin was on her face.
"You want me to sit on you too now, hun?"
She lifted a paw and batted back at Sparrowpaw in play, but ended up holding her paw in the air when yet another cat came, one she did not know. Normally, she would have gone and greeted her, but the Incredible Puffin was gonna stay anchored until the mighty sea made her fall overboard!

"You might should let him up before he really DOES turn into a pancake," Jay commented before headbutting Puffin in the shoulder in an attempt to knock her over. He wasn't a tiny cat either, nor lacking in muscle.
"My goodness,t his's turnin into quite the party. Should we worry that we're apparently this easy to find?" Jay asked as the new cat came wandering up. He flicked his tail and smiled in greeting to the other newcomer.

Puffin looked down at her 'throne' before Jay had head butted her, and though the blow almost did knock her off, she regained her balance. The sea was a mighty thing, and one must be prepared for whatever it may throw at you.
"Puffin... Get. Off. Of. Him."
Everyone else had started to leave, so Unlucky did so also, though she got lost on the way after them. But now she stood at the edge of the clearing, her sleek black pelt shimmering under the sun, right up to her white tail tip. Puffin had indeed heard her, and was going to get off in a second, but her sister gave her no chance. the sea cat was flattening their leader, and Unlucky, in a sour mood already, flew at her. Leaping into the air, her paws outstretched, she made graceful flight right into Puffin, both of them rolling on the ground a little ways away.
Unlucky got up first, then went over to help her sister, giving her a few licks on her ruffled fur, and as she did this, she whispered to Puffin.
"I think you should go help Sunsetfire up. It isn't nice to sit on kits you know."
The bird named kitty gave a apologetic look to her sister before rushing off to help her leader. She knelt over him, pasting her tongue over his head, repeating the same word over and over, meaning it every time.
"Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry...."
She had gone too far with her fun, and now she felt extremely bad about it.
Giving her ebony pelt a shake, Unlucky sat down, gazing at the gathered cats with her gray blue eyes. She wouldn't give her name to any of the new ones, she'd rather be unique. But sadly, she had to make her sister feel bad to get the point across, and now she might be a little depressed for a bit, though helping Sunsetfire with everything he needed.
