Carrying urgent news on a vigilant duty to go to the Gathering, the amber leader led her way down the path ways to the northern end of her territory, where the gathering was traditionally held. She was upholding an honor in doing this so.. Many years even before she'd travelled many times as a warrior, even as an apprentice down these narrow pathways towards her destination.
She looked over her shoulder to make sure the chosen cats were following closely. She didn't want to leave anybody behind, afterall! She softly blinked as she walked into the small clearing, where she strode forward and leapt upon the rock with feathery paws. She turned to face Treeclan. First ones here.
She seemed troubled, but it was distant. It was masked with a prided dignity veiled over her thoughts, heavily guarded from expressions. Her tail flicked, and she allowed the cats to make themselves comfortable.

Blackheart followed Amberstar down the trail that he had walked upon only once before, but this time with a new note to his step, pride glittering in those wise yellow hues at the scents and sounds of their following clan mates. Although the Treeclan leader had terrible news to give to the other clan cats, he felt, somehow, that she felt the same.
This time, however, the old black tom didn’t hang back away from the other cats. When they reached the clearing, and Amberstar ascended the rock, he padded right up to the front near the rock, sitting close to get a front row view of the Gathering. Long tail twitched; anger flickering in his eyes when he remembered Goldenblaze’s betrayal of their clan. Would she tell them of it? She would have to, wouldn’t she, to warn them if he tried to ‘join’ up with any other clan. And she’d report of the new clan, the rogue clan Boneclan.
Or would she? They could keep quiet, let the traitorous tom and his fellows wrought their destruction on the other clans, until Treeclan was left as ruler of all territories.
But no. As soon as that thought flickered into the wise tom’s mind, he abruptly shoved it away. That wasn’t right. There needed to be four clans to rule the territories together, and Starclan watching above as the fifth clan. Blackheart nodded to himself, agreeing with his own thoughts.

Maplepaw shuffled in behind his leader and mentor. He had been giving a new queen freshkill when he noticed the two other cats leaving. He could smell in their scents that something urgent had happened, but he did not yet know what. He sat near to his mentor and waited for the other clans to appear.

Ooc| Well, isnt this the sadness gathering I have ever seen... not much better then the one on my website XD
Bic| Thunderstep trotted up to the gathering, and was quit frankly sort of sad to only see three cats there, from his own clan. He walked over the Blackheart, ready to make thins right. Even if her was a little jealous. He waved his tail to Maplepaw, welcoming him to join. He guessed with the moon so close over head, there would be no gathering to night... what would starclan do about that? ((Its 11:11 here, so the gathering would sort of be over for me in less then an hour XDD))
Soooo sorry that so short

Onyxpelt stayed mostly in the shadows when they reached the gathering, until she realized it was quiet. There was still that uneasy feeling that had chased her to shadows in the first place, but everyone was being friendly.
Onyxpelt padded quietly closer to the others here from her clan. She wondered why it was so quiet... the oon was full, so why wasn't there anyone HERE?

Featherstar walked into the clearing with the cats of StoneClan behind her. She saw Amberstar at the top of the hill and trotted over to join her. Good evening, Amberstar. she greeted, and how are you?//OOC: sorry for shortness. I have nothing. And the reason I'm so late in posting is... I'd been grounded! But I'm back.

Mudpaw ran up to Thunderstep, sitting next to him and what was there in TreeClan. There werent many cats there. Hardley ANY at that. He looked up at the moon. It was beautiful. Adn the stars were as much as hidden from the light of the moon. He was so excited and yet nervous. He smiled seeing how friendly all the cats were. He noticed a cat he had never seen before. 'Who is that?'[Sorry I took so long...T.T. I just saw the gathering list for TreeClan today... eeek!]

She let out a sigh of relief as the leader walked into the clearing, and she flicked her tail gratefully. Good evening, Featherstar. I'm doing... Well. You're just in time! I was about to leave if nobody had shown up by moonhigh! She flicked her tail softly. Indeed.. Now we must wait for Sabrestar and Whisperstar. She smiled to her cats and looked down at Mudpaw. Mudpaw, you know that there are four clans in this forest. If not, it will be taught to you in your training.. This is Featherstar, another leader of Stoneclan. She said softly, answering the eager apprentice's questions.

Snowstripe skulked in silently and made her way to sit before her leader and several tail lengths from the stone. She looked to the Treeclan cats.. Wow, they were flourishing from when Treeclan first came! She sensed this wasn't all of them at all! She flicked her tail in greeting to the two leaders before padding towards Treeclan to speak to them. Hello there! She spoke softly to the cats, all different shades and hues of colors. She coughed but turned back to the cats, still holding her head high in a dignified fashion.

Questions traveled through Mudpaws head. No. I didn't know. But I do know! He smiled and greeted Feartherstar. Hello, Featherstar. He bowed his head, feeling embarrased for not knowing what to do. He lifted his head, It's nice to meet you! Now he really couldn't wait to start his training. He would know more about the other three leaders, he forze. But Amberstar?!Who's the leader of BoneClan?
[Lol. Looks like the Gatering is just NOW starting xD]

Her eyes went from calm pools to a sudden alarm. Mudpaw! That was gathering information, and the news will have to wait until then. Learn to hold your tongue, young tom. She ended her sentence softly, but rose her head.. She was sure she was bound to receive some odd looks from the neighboring clan.. Oh, how Starclan will be displeased to hear this news!! She sighed, eying Mudpaw warily for more news before turning back to look upon the clan, avoiding Featherstar's gaze

Mudpaw quickly looked down, ashamed. Sorry Amberstar. His brown eyes looked up at her, an upset look in his face. He sighed and looked back down, staring at the rocks. He shook his head and shut his mouth.

When the young kit spoke of BoneClan, Featherstar cast a confused glace at the TreeClan leader. But she said nothing. She figured that Amberstar would share the information when the other two leaders arrived. I wonder where Whisperstar and Sabrestar are. It is nearly moonhigh.

Dragonpelt followed Snowstripe into the clearing, his pawsteps so quiet that not even a mouse stirred. He walked up to the great rock and seated himself near Snowstripe.
"It was a pity to end our game so soon," he said with dismay. "I hope this Gathering is at least productive..." he told her.

Pinepaw followed Dragonpelt and the rest of her clan into the Gathering spot. Next to her was Loveless, her mentor; she padded to sit close to her clanmates, still rather shy of the other clans. Although this was her second Gathering, she still didn't know too many other cats outside of StoneClan. She hoped she'd be able to meet some tonight.

Brindlepaw was in dismay as she arrived to see only two clans....her own, StoneClan, and TreeClan. She sat down next to Pinepaw...Dragonpelt was already sitting next to Snowstripe, and she didn't want to seem like a Dupree. ( ) Her face was inquisitive as she spoke to Pinepaw. Where are the other clans?......They will come...wont they? She looked up into the sky and jumped with horror as she saw a lone cloud...it was straying way too close for comfort towards the moon. She jumped up, tail bristling with alarm, she went quickly to face her leader. Featherstar! Look! She flicked her bristling tail towards the cloud...it wasn't too far from the moon now. Her eyes filled with panic, quite unlike Brindlepaw.

Amberstar didn't even have to look behind her or above her to know what the young kit was pointing at. It is nearly moon high, and the other leaders have yet to show. We shall depart, for now. Starclan will be enraged.. She sighed and tipped her head sadly. She would send news to the other clans.. But for now, it would have to wait. I declare this gathering dismissed! She turned her back with a solemn nod to Featherstar. Treeclan, come! We are returning home.

Snowstripe's heart seemed to fall, and she looked to Featherstar with alarm. How could Amberstar do such a thing? Even if what the amber leader was doing was absurd, she couldn't help but feel bad for her.. Especially since she seemed to be holding interesting news.. Boneclan? She shook her head and looked to Dragonpelt, quirking her head to the side. She sighed, prepared to leave upon Featherstar's command.

Featherstar was alarmed at Amberstar's sudden decision. She decided that her clan too, would return home. StoneClan, she called unnecessarily to the only group of cats sitting below her, let's go. There will be a clan meeting when when get there, so, don't go far. Having said this, Featherstar took off, running down the hill, anxious to get back to the camp. She trusted her clan to follow. //Arrg! Shortness!

Dragonpelt shared Snowstripe's discomfort at the sudden retreat from the Gathering. Starclan was clearly not happy and the absence of both Shadowstreak's clan and Duskclan was unsettling.
"Something is not right...I wish I was able to see like the medicine cats and leaders do..." he told Snowstripe. "This worries me...just leaving without even talking..."
Nevertheless he followed his leader back to their camp and waited for the meeting to start.
