Just wondering.. what’s your view on a Warriors' movie?

There has been a lot of talking about this, and I just want to know what you think ;D

I think that using REAL cats like in some other animal movies made would totally kill my love of Warriors. On the other hand, I would love to see an animation! Just think of seeing Ravenpaw on the big screen! -^^- -Luvs Ravenpaw-

Using real cats would probably make me go all rgjkerhjntkenkb. They'd probably have to computer-animate their mouths to make them talk, and I have absolutely NO idea how they would do the fight scenes and the Moonstone scenes. An animated movie would make me jump for joy!

If there was a movie, I would like it to be 2D animated - NOT 3D.

But I'm not much of a fan for turning my favorite books into movies. You always have to cut things out, and a lot of lazy people watch movies instead of read. I think reading the pages gets such a thrill that you can't find in the movies.
I remember some people on a "The Sight" forum talking about emailing the author about a movie, I thought the idea was horrid. The Sight was DEFINATELY not a good story to be made into a movie -.-

So I dont like movies being made out of books like this ^^ Plus, can you imagine the confusion of someone watching the movie, and ALL those cats? Remember all characters in a movie have to be designed, named, and everything. People watching a movie would think one cat just looks like the other (because movies dont mention all the names, and names stick in peoples' mind a lot less in movies than they do in books).

It would neat but I am not sure about it. You always like books more than movies. At least that's just me. I think it would be good. But the books would defiantly be better. Anyways, they would have to cut some thing out or have really long movies, because, no one, not even me, is going to watch 10+ movies on one series.

Well, if it was used with real cats, i'd still go see it. =3 But i'd LOVE it if they animated it. So, yeah! Hopefully they do make it.

I actually agree with you. That wouldn't make a good movie. The Sight is actually one of my favorite books, if not my actual fav. But i'd hate to see them kill it with a movie.

Hmm...I'd imagine that if Watership Down could be turned into a plausible movie (I liked it a lot, actually, even though it had a low budget. XD), Warriors definitely COULD. I don't know if I'd like it much, though.

Yes: I'm an aspiring animator, and to see my favourite books in animated movie form would most definately be amazing to me. I'm already part of the staff of an upcoming animated movie (http://www.wolfmovie.com). If the company that made the Warriors movies did something similar to Wolf, I would most definately be in there and helping.

No: As Whisperstar said, in movies things always tend to be left out, and the amount of characters in the story would get confusing unless there was a way to get around it and stick the names into people's minds, which is highly unlikely. I'd also hate to see the movies worked on under a name like Disney - Disney-style Warriors Characters = no. But that shouldn't happen as Disney are no longer doing 2D animation I hear. Maybe just some small company, which has the skill but won't completely ruin the image of Warriors like a big company might.

There would also be quite a few movies... and most people would probably get bored xD so I'm in two minds, really.

homg I think the old disney animation style, like Lion King, would own souls for a warrior's movie. :0 I"m so sad that disney stopped making movies like that.

o=o Homg yeah!! I'd kill for a movie like the Lion King/Warriors thing. But, yeah. It's all digital now. I hate it! They're even remaking the original 2D movies!!

One of the reasons I left the Wolf forums (I was...Flayroo or something. I forgot) was because everyone there seemed to hate Disney. I still like Disney, even if they've screwed themselves over lately. I couldn't stand the negative attitude there.

If they're opening the 2D studios, I'll be very happy. : D

Meh, it'd be great if they'd stop digitalizing everything!! I love Disneyland, and everything about it. It just drives me crazy when they remake all the movies that won over everyone's heart

A Warriors movie? That would be kewl!!! I agree that they would have to computer animate there mouths. On the fighting scenes, they would computer animate that too. Now days, you can use a comp to make things look real. They could probably do the whole movie and computer animation and we'd never know because it looks so real. Hurting animals in movies is against the law now! Did you here how they pushed a horse over a cliff and killed him for a movie? It was old and I rather not get into it...
