Recently, I sent a PM out to my fellow g. mods and admins involving a list of the strongest characters.
From the PM:
I was thinking that a rank system might work here; perhaps 2-3 'classes' that divide up the semi-dangerous, moderately-dangerous, and omg-gonnakillyoudead-crazy-dangerous.
Maybe something like:
Class 3 - characters with fight training; semi-dangerous, capible of defending themselves (a basic general class; all warriors, ect.)
Class 2 - characters with significant fighting ability; moderately dangerous, capible of severely injuring/killing lower classes (one of two special classes; specific names go here)
Class 1 - characters with extreme fighting talent; highly dangerous, capible of killing/severely wounding most other characters (smallest class; specific names go here)
So basically, Class 3 isn't anything too special. It would be so large and well-populated that names wouldn't be listed--just 'characters with training'. Kits and apprentices would be barred, but most characters would fall into this class. This is the average for a wild cat.
Class 2 is more select, with much fewer members. Class 1 is the narrowest of all.
Probably our biggest problem here is...how do we choose who goes where? I can see a lot of people wanting their characters to be in Class 2 or Class 1. Bristle had the idea that only the characters who've been around for a while should qualify. I think that's a fairly good idea.
I'm completely open to opinions. Everyone, please weigh in!
From the PM:
Well, basically, I was thinking that it might be a good idea to work out some of the stronger characters. Not an exact list; there would be a lot of conflict on who's stronger than who, I'm sure; but perhaps a general collection of the more dangerous characters. That way, new members could learn a bit about the biggest IC powers that shape this here lovely site.
And perhaps learn which characters their own character should avoid, if they want to live.
