1) Do not Godmode. Godmoding is when your character is suddenly able to do things that are impossible, for example being able to fly, or run at insane speeds, or be insanely strong. Keep in mind that your character is a cat, and is restricted to doing things only a cat would be able to do.
2) Do not powerplay. Powerplaying is when you immediately assume that your characters aims have succeeded. It is up to your opponent to decide how much damage they take.
3) There is a limit of one full dodge per fight. Any other attacks, you must atleast say that your character recieved some injury.
4) Be reasonable. If your character has recieved no completely fatal injuries, but has lots of small cuts and scrapes, chances are that eventually your character will begin to feel weak as he/she looses blood. If under any doubt of how much injury a character should have, an admin or mod will decide for you.
5) Before a fight is begun, make sure you know where your opponent stands as to whether they will die or not. Use the "to die or not to die" thread as reference for this, if not ask your opponent first.
6) Before you can start an individual fight, you must post in the main thread to make sure people know your cat is there.
7) When starting a new thread, they must contain who it is a fight with. For example Bane vs. Kestrel, Anarchy vs. Amberstar etcetc. Individual fights can be requested via PM, or simply start a thread requesting a fight with a certain cat.
8) There will be a thread where short summaries of what has happened in each battle can be posted. This summary should include the extent of injuries, and if applicable who died.
9) There will also be a thread where cat's needing treatment for injuries may go. All medicine cats are expected to turn up as aid, and they may fight as well though their main concern is to help their own clan members.
10) Your cat may not be in more than one thread at once, though it is allowed for other cats to join certain fights if they want to, and if the original two opponents don't mind intrusion.
11) Final rule: Your cats injuries are carried from one fight onto another, unless you are healed inbetween battles. To make it a decent battle, I will say that if you have been to see a Medicine Cat inbetween battles, then all of your injuries, no matter how severe, can be forgotten. Of course, if you want your cat to keep some of their injuries, then feel free to do so!
