name, Bristleclaw. gender, Female. breed, Norwegian Forest Cat. age, Young adult. appearance,
[Far left] Tabby and white longhaired she-cat with gray eyes.
persona,
As a kit, Bristleclaw was harsh, cold, and downright rude to any other kit. She would greet them with a sneer. She would hang around the first cat she met when she first came to MistClan, Wishclaw, and generally just be silly. Now, as she's blossomed into a full-grown adult, Bristleclaw has softened, and now just feels a bit awkward around any cat her own age except her half-sisters, Lilacfrost and Nyriashine. She does, however, tend to fight with Nyriashine, and Lilacfrost breaks up the arguments. Bristleclaw's trademark move when fighting with Nyriashine - or any other cat that she's not fighting with claws unsheathed - is just to sit on them.
Like any cat, Bristleclaw is terrified of dogs and birds of prey, but the birds of prey moreso. Although she has less reason than any but MistClan's deputy Battledream, as even an eagle would have trouble scooping her up, she's had a deepset fear ever since...well, you'll have to wait for that. But even more than both dogs and eagles, hawks, ospreys, and owls, Bristleclaw is scared of Twolegs. Most cats are just weirded out by them, or only frightened if they come near, but Bristleclaw is paranoid about one just coming and invading MistClan's camp.
Awkward, a bit grumpy...another word to describe her could be ambitious. Bristleclaw's ambition is not a dangerous thing, as those with a driving ambition would kill to be leader, but she strives to be a better warrior. She's not great with kits, but Bristleclaw feels like having an apprentice would give her much more experience - which it would. story,
Bandedstrike was a beautiful tabby and white longhaired she-cat of MistClan. She was rarely noticed, as she was quite softspoken. Bandedstrike fell in love with a mysterious black tom with brilliant silver eyes, and left MistClan - though no one really realised it. The former MistClan queen stayed with her new mate, but the moment she told him she was pregnant with his kits, he disappeared. Bandedstrike never saw him again. She kitted alone in the Rogue Meadow, helpless.
One kit was born. She had her mother's tabby and white pelt, and when she opened her eyes, Bandedstrike found that she had her father's intense silvery-gray hues. Bandedstrike found a group of loners who had two other nursing queens and travelled with them. Her daughter didn't like being with the other kits, who were her own age. Bandedstrike decided, after about a moon, to call her Bristlekit.
Bristlekit lived happily without the company of a father or other kits to play with - there were, of course, other kits, but she hated them. She was much larger than them, and when they asked to play, she just sat on them. They would cry under the pressure, and then Bandedstrike, Shine, and Blossom - the other two queens - would have to pull her off. Gold, a tom in Shine's litter and the 'leader' of the little group of kits, gathered them all for a 'meeting' about how to get back at Bristlekit.
"She's just plain mean!" Silver, Gold's sister, hissed. "Why do you want to play with her?" Gold disregarded this and mewed, "I say we fill her nest with spiders." A little she-kit in Blossom's litter, Daisy, looked quite unnerved by this. "I...I like Bandedstrike, and putting spiders in Bristlekit's nest would mean putting spiders in Bandedstrike's nest," she whimpered. Blossom's other two kits, both toms and both quite mean to Daisy - called Bruiser and Brutus - nudged her, and she toppled over. Bruiser and Brutus acted as Gold's muscle. The little leader gave them a stern look and they went to sit beside him, Bruiser to the left and Brutus to the right.
Gold, Silver, Brutus, and Bruiser decided that they would indeed fill the nest with spiders. Bruiser went to find spiderwebs, while Brutus scouted from the nursery. Gold and Silver lay inside the nursery, on their mother's nest, lazily - like royalty, which was, to Bruiser, Brutus, and Daisy, basically what they were. During all of this, Daisy was grooming Silver, mewing in between licks, "This isn't right, we shouldn't be doing this. Shine and Blossom will disapprove greatly - not to mention Score!" Silver gasped at the mention of the longer band's leader's name, and Gold looked up from gazing at his beautifully sharp claws. Indeed, Score was Blossom's mate and the leader, and when he was mad, he was mad. But just as they were rethinking their plan, Bruiser entered the nursery, Brutus close behind, and they placed the spiderwebs - full of spiders and other creepy crawlies - on Bandedstrike's and Bristlekit's nest.
The plan did not go well. Blossom informed Score of this little strikeback and Gold, Silver, Brutus, and Bruiser were punished severely. Daisy and Bristlekit were the only kits who did not get punished, and although spending more time together should have made Bristlekit like Daisy more, it just magnified her annoying quirks. But then tragedy struck: Bandedstrike died, when Bristlekit was only three moons. Daisy, as said before, liked Bandedstrike, and was quite upset, but not as devastated as Bristlekit. She left the little band, searching for a new home. She thought of Bandedstrike's old home, MistClan - who probably didn't even miss her. The young kit set off to find the place, and finally she did, where Lillystar took her in.
Bristlekit met Wishclaw, who later on became her mentor. She also met a tom called Giddykit and his little sister, Streamkit, who both annoyed her to no end. Wishclaw and Bristlekit did a lot of things together. Finally, the 'kit' suffix was to be replaced by 'paw'. Bristlepaw and Wishclaw gave 'training' a whole new meaning. Finally she went to her first Gathering.
The Gathering brought more tragedy to the Clans: a rogue killed the StoneClan queen, Blindsong. MistClan came home from the Gathering to a meeting, where warriors were announced. Bristlepaw became Bristleclaw, who lives in MistClan happily. miscellaneous, |D
