[changed his colors to match his persona more] the ground came up in a very flat angle, much too boring for Carnival's tastes. to spice it up he sauntered too low to the ground, raising invisible brows at every tree that stared back in wonderment. his hips sashayed the same way a she-cat's might, his tail following quite annoyed. the looming trees swerved to get out his zig and zagginng. "trees, so you can go so much higher than me, but how low can you go?" he called. the orange and white tom glanced at the trees above with a smarty quizzical look on, perfectly over the top might I add. the trees smirked, and dropped down their leaves, whom spiraled to the ground. one landed on Carnival's nose, with a puff of breath it flew away. "haha, sending your messengers doesn't count!" he lowered his eyes from the sky, and continued zig and zagging across the floor of the forest. --- as Carnival moved forward, a scent trail made him halt. his back paws, quite confused continued walking. Carnival was left laying on his chest, his rump high in the air. With a very smarty look, he stood up. the scent trail was on his backside, one side of him in treeclan's turf and the other half not. Carnival sniffed the trail, and lurched forward. then back. "it doesn't move!" he shouted. Carnival continued this pattern, to and fro over the unmoving scent trail. After the thrill of the border marker got old, Carnival trotted fully over the line, and headed into treeclan. while walked, he glanced around then up to the sky. he noticed the darkening sky, where the clouds stared to pour. a smile broke his face, the scent trail he had crossed forgotten. then Carnival leapt through the air, feeling the warm rain down his spine. the tom did not mind the rain. 'Such an unusual cat' was precisely what the amber Leader had been thinking. Such a kit-like gesture, bouncing back and forth from the boundary. He looked much like a bouncy ball, undecided on where to bounce next. She raised a brow, her thickly coated draped haphazardly over the tree branch behind her. She had been watching him for sometime, having witnessed him having a playful argument with the trees surrounding him, and now amusing himself by shooting back and forth over her border marker.
Finally bored of this newfound game, he trotted over the boundaries and into the forests of Treeclan, and Amberstar got to her feet. He seemed charismatic enough to not be a danger, but it was her job as Leader to keep intruders out of her land, particularly the Main Camp. Which was precisely where he was headed.
She trotted along the branch, tail arched over her back to discourage her feet from tripping over it as she jumped gracefully from branch to branch. Where he walked at a lazy trot, she was at a graceful lope through the canopy of leaves above, sending a few leaves down his way. And a noise broke the silence; the patter of rain.
Because it was the cold season, the leaves hadn't all had time to recover their leaves. Where it gave her enough cover from the curious eye below, it didn't protect the forest floor from the rain. Thus, she dropped to the floor well ahead of him to approach him, her fur already darkening into red from the rain that fell upon her. She never minded the rain, but she wasn't a cat to dive head first into a pool.
I see you've little regard for my border markers She said as she approached, a hint of amusement in the purr of her voice. She sat, but never afraid to get to her feet and attack if he decided to bolt. Now, where ya from, stranger? Clearly not from around here; those cats don't cross my borders for fear of my deputy She purred with a smirk.

while zigging and zagging through the lands of Treeclan, Carnival chirpped a few times. he grinned a wide smile, and watched the trees. the rain felt good on his face. then, another voice startled him. Carnival moved onto his haunched, cowering behind his front paws. He peered out between the white paws, then dropped back on all fours. "hello amber lady." Carnival smiled in a quirky way at the she-cat. "shall I asume the border that I leapt over protects your land?" Carnival asked in a comical voice. he didn't want to disrespect the she-cat, but he couldn't help but twisting his voice into a new one. "Carnival's the name, being out of the ordinary is what I do best." He swept a paw to his chest and bowed so deeply his nose touched the soil. Carnival just couldn't resist.[/blockquote]

Unusual indeed. But Amberstar was good humored today, so Carnival was in luck; no chasing his butt back over her borders today. Instead, she twitched her tail over the bone of her flanks in amusement, orange-gold eyes sparkling even in the rain. Most unfortunately, yes She said in amusement with a light purr, shrugging away the thoughts.
Either way, Good Carnival, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name is Amberstar, leader of Treeclan.
And I inquire as to why you find yourself here in my Clans.

Carnival got up from his bow, grinning a wonderful smile. "such a wonderful name for a beautiful lady." Carnival meant what he said, Amberstar astounded him. Her fur was such a bold color, one to definitely stick out in a crowd. Carnival hardley thought about anything in his life time, his answer coming out just after he finished speaking before. "I came to your clan because I heard from the old she-cat, Flit, that Treeclan needed a healer. Was I right to assume?" His ears flattened with his last question, his eyes gaining a sad look. Carnival hated to be wrong.

Amberstar smiled warmly at Carnival. Flattering as he was, she still had some sort of self-control. She nodded her head briefly, always keeping her liquid-gold eyes on Carnival, whether out of curiosity or wariness, even she didn't know. She wasn't a cat who typically kept her emotions hidden, she was still bemused over Carnival's introductions. First impressions were everything, she supposed.
But the words he said had her pause and look inquiringly at him, ears flicking back and forth as if indecisive. Flit... She vaguely remembered the old medicine cat as a kit, and it was Eatbugs who replaced her soon after. The old she-cat was quite insane from what Amberstar could remember of her, but she was brilliant when it came to herbs. She closed her eyes and shook her head fondly.
Though she knew Flit to have run away from her home, she could not deny that she wasn't intelligent. Perhaps she'd taught some to this tom? And besides... She couldn't deny her freedom when so many cats had left the clan, never to be heard from again.
Then, Carnival, if you are Flit's acquaintance, you are welcome here.

[sorry, life was being cruel this past month ):] Carnival's eyes lit up, all of his indecisiveness gone. he could have leapt for joy at that moment, in fact, he did. Carnival turned a circle, and flipped, before purring loudly. He loves to purr, it made his throat tingle in a way he enjoyed and it usually made others happy to. "i'm very happy for that statement miss Amberstar." Carnival spoke through his nose. a thought reminded him to keep his cool and his face returned to it's calm state from before. "shall we head to Treeclan?" [/blockquote]
