“In a show of hands, who has said these words before?” -Mayday Parade, Just Say You’re Not into It
it seemed only fair to tell the crowd gathering around that she was hungry. she in this context, was named Miel. "i would kill for meat." she hissed. The crowd backed away, their ears flattening. "and it's getting annoying." her paws gazed over the grass, nearing the edge of the meadow named Rouge Meadow. The misty cats vainished into oblivion as she passes through them. The meadow, by miel's standards, was fairly dull. no one was really around. execpt maybe, at a distant location. The aroma of cat scents lingered heavily on the dewed soaked grass. The heavy smell made her mouth water. Miel shoved her thought away. if she ate a cat, who would want to come and dine with her. no one would, her mind snorted. Miel rolled her eyes. her tummy rumbled loudly, miel stared in disbelief. hungry, she thought, why yes that seem likely. her mouth watered again, the thought of digging her teeth deep into the neck of another cat, and tearing their limbs off while they died. "heh." the faux screams occupied her mind.

At the very least Fjeld was bored, but that was an understatement opposed to all the other things gone wrong with her right now. A bug waddled across the ground it's six tiny feet inching it to wherever it planned on going. Fjeld sat pinning her ears back as she stared at the bug. It was so little in comparison to her, and yet such an amazing thing; with it's antennae to guide it, it's outer shell of a skeleton protecting it from danger, and so many other things that she had yet to know. "Oh, well." She sighed, smashing the bug under her paw as she started to walk again to wards...well, nothing. Yes, nothing in general. Her silver ears twitched, flicking to wards a sound she hadn't noticed. Another cat? A devious grin spread across her face as she glided to wards the source of the sound. She could smell the cat now; a she-cat, most likely around her age. Maybe today would bring a higher level of excitement, rather than squishing bugs. She scoffed to herself. There was no point in standing around thinking about what she would do. She stepped out into the open where the other cat was talking to herself. A strange sound hit the two cat's ears. The first cat's belly had rumbled. Fjeld laughed, she too was hungry, and this happened to her often. "Hello, I'm Fjeld." She said, flashing her broad grin across her face again.

the rusty laugh of another broke what ever silence had fallen over the meadow. miel heard the name of the other cat, who had laughed at her. or most likely her stomach growling it's opinion. should I give her my name, miel thought. "i'm miel." she answered, following suit. The other cat's grin was harmless, it just bounced off her shoulder before falling aimlessly to the grass. Miel smiled her own smile, but in mockery instead of greeting. her stomach growled again, and Miel hissed through her teeth. her golden eyes looked over the cat in front of her, or more to the back than the front. Miel twisted her frame around, but kept her eyes straining on the cat. She looked like someone she would have a good company with, or someone who would try to battle. either way, Miel would get one end of the bargain, whether it be good or bad. Miel paused her thinking, when yet again she was hungry. this cat would make a good meal, she thought heartily. instead of lunging at the cat before her, Miel asked a question. "what brings you over to me?"[

The other she-cat announced her name. Miel Fjeld thought. It was a different name, just like hers. She watched as Miel twisted to face her, smiling on her own. Clearly planning what to do with me. She smiled again. Her smile obviously had no effect on Miel, but Fjeld could see that the she-cat had many of the qualities that she possesed. Some would call them faults though, but then they wouldn't see the next day. Fjeld's own belly rumbled, and she laughed at herself. It was definately going to be an amusing day. She laughed again as Miel asked her question. "Oh, boredom, hunger, amusement and the like." She replied, her eyes wandering to the sky, another bug, a blade of grass tickling her ear; which she ate, and the scent of other cat's blood wafting off them both. Fjeld was prone to losing inerest fast.

the likes, or the normal, sounded fishy to Miel. Her ears flattened, her mind racing to think. The throaty laugh of the cat before her broke the chain of thoughts. A growl rose in Miel's throat. Hunger was nawing at her, and the cat before was starting to lose interest in the conversation. It was practically inbarable to watch the fea just stare aimlessly around, and the blood. what blood? her mind asked. oh, it must be me. She stared down at her paws. they had cracked and blood was starting to ooze out. "I hope you don't mind,"Miel stated another evil grin sliding onto her face. "but I'm hungry." Her tounge scraped across her teeth, her face putting on her insantiy like a mask. "and you look mighty tasty." Miel lunged.

Fjeld grew bored of her surrounding and focused on Miel. The hunger in her stomach began to show through her eyes as she watched the other she-cat's eyes narrow as she thought about Fjeld's words. A devilish grin spread across her face as Miel looked down at her cracked paws. The scent teased Fjeld, and she wondered how much longer this conversation would last before her hunger got to her. She didn't even have to think about that for Miel had sprung after mentioning her own cannicalistic hunger. Caught by surprise Fjeld barely escaped the flying cat as a full set of claws ripped through her ear. Fjeld spun; a wide grin on her face. "This is exactly my kind of entertainment, yes?" She purred, leaping at Miel in turn.

Meil felt her claws connect with the other fea's ear, ripping part of it to shreds. "This is exactly my kind of entertainment, yes?" the answer to her assalt was perfect, notice the purr rumbling up from Miel's throat. Her hunger blinded her for a second, as she whipped about to face her opponet. Fjeld had lept back at her, claws extending. Miel dodged the flashing claws, her hindlegs slipping on the dewy grass. Only a moment passed before she caught herself. "ha!" She exclaimed. "This is is deffinetly not the allyways of my home city!" She was estatic with insanity. or just the fact that her hunger was still around. The blue bandana around her neck swished, as if to say it was still around. Miel slid to the left, bouncing around Fjeld like a hyper kit, who just ate something funny. A goofy laugh erupted. Miel smiled a huge grin, her face breaking in two to show it off. Whiole her eyes glittered like the moon's reflection, she leapt back at Fjeld, her paws moving rapidly. "can you count the grassblades?" Miel jumped high into the air, her hindlegs aiming for the side of Fjeld.

Fjeld laughed as Miel bagan to purr in reply to her. Miel had turned and dodjed Fjeld, her silver fur catching the sun's rays and reflecting in a fish scale tone. Apparently it was not the alleyways Miel had once traveled. Fjeld grinned, her teeth stained a yellow/red color. She watched carefully as Miel lept at her again, the fea's legs extended to kick at Fjeld's side. Fjeld herself jumped into the air, her size, light weight, and springy steps made it easy for her to jump above Miel. She began to wonder what would be the outcome of this battle. She could feel the sting in her ear, but it didn't bother her. "Why yes I can count the grass, but it tastes much better than it counts." She purred as she prepared to land either over Miel or on top of her. She much better preffered on top.

Miel let out a sharp laugh, sliding her belly onto the grass. She took the full weight of Fjeld, and paused. even though the claws of her opponet dug into her fur, making blood ooze out, Miel knew what to do. "sorry,"she smirked. "landing on top of me will cost 'ya." Miel lifting all of her weight off the grass, her back paws the only thing on the ground. she spun slightly around, her back curving into an arch. Her back paws sliped around on the grass, threatening to topple her over. but with the combined weight it's a little hard to not fall over. and that is exactly what Miel did. hope you don't mind get squished. [sorry if there's powerplaying]

Fjeld grinned again as she landed on top of Miel. She laughed as Miel slipped around on the grass, and threatened Fjeld that this stunt of hers would cost her. As Miel flopped to the ground Fjeld leaped off daintily. She had battled with a cat like this before, so the whole "slip-n-slide-n-crush" act was no surprise to her. As soon as she landed she launched herself back around to claw up Miel's now exposed belly. "This truly is an amusing fight, perhaps we shall do it again, eh?" She laughed. And in truth she was definately enjoying herslef, and Miel was quite the worthy opponent. She smirked. 'Too bad it has to end this quick.'

Miel, was not a cat even Fjeld would of battled before. Her skills were higher, and more fluid than those crude rogues who roamed the allways back home. so when the cat who had been clinging to her back had started to scar her belly, Miel hissed. how dare she! Miel slid up to her feet, her eyes simmering with anger. a frown creased her mask, breaking the insanity that had just begun to boil over. Fair seemed to be not of the list of today, miel thought. "haha!" miel laugh cut itself short. "do it again hardly. watch yourself, you're practically shaking with excitement." Miel shook off the blood, her claws retracting. A fair fight was not of Miel's mind, but a meal was. Yet more angered by the cat before Miel, she let her storm rage. Instead of shouting her angry language at the mere kitten before her, Miel bristled, seeming to get larger in appearance. "how dare you,"She spat, her teeth now shining with fresh blood. "mocking a fighter with your playful kit-fighting." Miel was furious, and so was the weather above. The clouds that had just arrived now cracked with anger, streaking lightning across the blackening sky. Down poured rain, soaking Miel to the bone. Miel still bristled, her size remained larger in the rain. "cannibals are patient, unless they get rejected their meal." Her fury rang through her bitter words. "having been declined this meal, you shall pay."
[ooh, touchy]

[if it's all right, I'm throwing one of my boys in here ^^]instincts are reduced to teeth that bite the hand that feeds.
A shadow fell across the wet earth, deep black in the half-light.
The cat that went with it was a large tom, broad-shouldered and powerfully built, with dark fur wildly pattered with tabby stripes of all shades. His tail swept the air behind him. His somehow shifty blue eyes darted from one she-cat to the other.
He had been sleeping not far from where the two cats had met, and slowly their play-fighting and conversation had drawn him out of his doze. At first, he had been content to lay and wait them out, figuring that they would leave soon and allow him to rest. But then he began to hear a sharpness in their voices--mostly from the one called Miel. The sharpness sparked the tomcat's nerves; it seemed that any moment, their playfulness would burst into deadly seriouness.
"Cannibals are patient, unless they get rejected their meal. Having been declined this meal, you shall pay," he heard Miel say.
Buster rolled to his paws and pushed his way through the grass towards the two she-cats.
"I doubt it," he meowed, anger in his voice. He made sure his words carried through the rain to Miel. "You ought to back off. There's no meal for you here."
He looked contemptuously at Miel, disgust in his blue eyes. No meal for you here. Not for your kind. [/blockquote]

"You ought to back off. There's no meal for you here." the voice of another almost stopped her heart. Oh, and why is that? she thought angrily; her belly remained silent. While she took up the size of the male intruder, Miel let her own fur lay back flat. One buring question played it's way to her lips. "and who might you be?" She asked, practically disgusted. Meals had been rare on her journey to this land, or valley. Not eating takes it's toll on her body, but mostly her mind. Then, after thinking the sentence through, Miel grew aware of the wind and the rain pouring down. She shivered inside. My battle has just begun! Miel continued to rampage in her mind. Well, what was left of it. She swayed on her paws, stunning to horror that she wasted her little energy on this mutt before her. what a waste, her mind repeated. She shook, much in the manner a dog did, and rid her pelt of the crushed water. Her efforts were wasted as more rain drenched her undercoat. Oh how she wished for the dryness of home. home, never thought it'd think of that again. [ugh, i never realized how time consuming it was to code miel's posts, i might switch to one color]

Fjeld laughed. It was always even more fun when your opponent got angry. She smiled her crazy, blood-stained, grin. 'This is getting good.'Miel was so mad that she spit the words from her mouth, this always meant a fight was getting good. Fjeld was not a kitten but just as spirited as one, thinking of that she stiffled her rising laughter. Oh, the good days, yes? She doesn't exactly "mock" a fighter, but she does tease one, and yet another laugh rising in her, but before she could react another cat showed. How interesting. This new cat was a large tom, his dark fur striped like a tiger's of various shades, and bold blue eyes that flickered from cat to cat. Fjeld smiled. A guest would undoughtedly bring more fun. His words dark as he spoke against Miel for showing her cannibalistic side in one labeled sentance.
'Would he be on my side?' "Good evening gentlemen." She grinned, as she saw the other tom wheeling towards her but missing by a far shot and then singing a tune that made Fjeld's grin expand even farther. Ridiculous and yet amusing. After his interesting entrance he appeared to notice the cat's staring at him and shreiked at them. No dought he would bring more fun.

[hee-hee! One more for fun!] Mirror stalked slowly through the brush. He chortled happily to himself. This is gonna be GREAT! He leapt from his cover and attempted to pounce on the nearest cat.....unfortunatley his aim was off and he thought he would end up on the smirking she-cat called Fjeld. Well, he bounced back up and started spinnig in circles. "Na-na-na-nana, can't touch this," he sang in between laughing fits. Mirror turned to face the one called Buster. Suddenly, Mirror's eyes narrowed into slits. "What're you all looking at?" Mirror shrieked. This cat might be a little bit crazy.

[moar crazy, eh?] Miel shook her head, home didn't matter. She glances around with a bored expression on her face, smacking her lips together loudly as she did. Another loud voice broke her mind. A tom cat was yelling at the larger tom, who if she remember properly, had told her to leave. "hey!" She shouted at the yonger tom, willing him to face her instead. "I saw him first, get your own." Everything was starting to annoy her, and Miel's gnawing hunger burned away her normal, sane thoughts. The cats here better have luck up their sleeves, or they'll get eaten. Miel hissed slowly, the misty cats appeared again, and the storm far above had quieted to a gentle drizzle. stupid hunger, stupid cats, stupid cats. [Kest should post next]

[ erm, actually, I should have posted after Qui. From now on, we ought to move in a Miel-Fjeld-Buster-Qui order, so my character isn't left behind again. ] instincts are reduce to teeth that bite the hand that feeds.
Buster ignored the other tom. He was obviously crazy, but seemed harmless.
But Miel, on the other hand...? Probably not so harmless. She had, after all, been bragging about being a cannibal. Been bragging about being a cannibal. Bragging about being a low, immoral cat who ate her own kind! Imagine being proud of that!
Buster growled softly. What is the world coming to these days, when cats parade that sort of attitude around? he thought.
"Buster," he answerd, his voice equally disgusted. "My name is Buster."
Buster Synyty-oko. But his family name didn't matter here.
He glanced around him, his blue eyes flitting from cat to cat. "Hello," he meowed to Mirror and Fjeld. They, at least, weren't causing too much trouble. He was only here to keep an eye on the cannibal. [/blockquote]

Mirror didn't like being ignored. Hmph. So what if he was a little.....boisterous?! It's not like it's hurting anyone. His pupils dilated. His eyes returned to slits. He was getting fed up too. A sudden wave of rage swept through. " Why am I always the one left out? Grr." He growled softly, but loud enough they could hear him. He snarled. He lashed his tail viciously. The rage got worse. He jumped one last time for that conversation at the cannibal.

[ ooc: Qui--this is at least a mostly realistic cat RP. Cats can't read minds, since a) it doesn't fit the 'realistic' part, and b) it's powerplaying for your character to know the thoughts of others. ]
