As if they couldn't get away from it all. Although no deaths occured, blood still covered the earth, even here at her own home.. "What has happened here?!" She howled out, narrowing her eyes. She swung her head about, and even Colt looked rather shocked.
She growled. She bolted from the returning party and landed neatly on the branch. "I know you are tired, warriors, but we must get to the bottom of this. Those who are wounded, see the Medicine Cat. Those who aren't, come. Camp guards!! Front and center, tell me what happened," She said calmly, eyes blazing. It better not have been that ratbag Goldenblaze.

Wren practically stood up on her hind legs she stood up so far, sniffing the air and waving her tail back and forth. They were home? Finally?
She pricked her ears forward as Amberstar came howling. A crooked smile lit her face, but she approached shyly. You'd never know she'd been hissing and spitting just earlier. She didn't look capable of it, those tiny paws going carefully and lightly, and her fur all slicked down as clean as she could get it, though there were still a couple cuts that bled very sluggishly. They'd stop on their own- she wasn't worried. She was front and center, and looked behind her for her clanmates, the other camp guards. Her ears flicked out sideways for a moment and then flicked back forward, still looking ridiculously big. She'd probably always look a little like a kit for that.
"Some younger Boneclanners attacked us. But no one died. They left when one of the she-cats said something had happened at the battle," she said, as if it'd been no big deal. There was an undercurrent to her tone that might have been asking what happened. She picked up a front paw and put it back down in the exact pawprint it'd left, shifting all four feet like that, like she was a little too revved up to stand still for long. She'd nearly jumped about ten feet when she'd caught the first scent of cats on the breeze, before realizing they were the Treeclanners coming back.

Leopardnose's ears perked up at the sound of paw steps, but it was Amberstar and the rest of Treeclan returning home. She tried to look calm but she was still shaken up . She stood up and walked towards Wren and Amberstar and said,"There was three of them." She had a lot of questions about the battle but she didn't want to ask them now.

The golden warrior followed nimbly after his leader. Low energy did not permit any movement to the subtle strength and acuteness known of the clan, but precise nontheless. Scratches adorned the warrior, but none were too brittle for the baring and continuence of his life. No, Sunpelt did not need any immediate medical attention, so he festoned himself to the flank of his leader, Amberstar, and approached the camp guards.

Onyx padded lopsided-ly after Sunpelt and Amberstar, one hind leg held off the ground. She'd made a badly judged leap over another cat and landed funny on that leg, twisting it badly. It was probably only sprained, but it was easier to hobble along pretty much three footed. She was irritated at herself for that bad jump.
One ear also had a big slice in it, where she'd ducked when another cat had gone for her eyes. The sideswipe had caught her ear instead, ripping a big rent in it. It stung like the dickens and the blood from it had matted the fur on that side of her face, making it look probably worse than it was. Other than those two injuries, she had only a few scratches which might scar, and others that would probably not. None of them were threatening her life at the moment, and she stubbornly believed she didn't actually need a Medicine Cat just now, though it might have been a good idea.
She was still shaken up enough by the battle to enjoy the familiar comfort of being around both Amberstar and Sunpelt, knowing the two of them better than any other in the clan, still.

Please, please forgive me, But I won't be home again. Maybe someday you'll look up, And, barely conscious, you'll say to no one:
"Isn't something missing?"
It shouldn't have happened.
None of it should have happened, and yet, even as everything fell into place, he wondered, if it was all meant for a worthy cause. A worthy cause that he fought until the bitter end to protect...
The very worthy cause that now was gathering back within the clan’s camp and Blackheart couldn't help but grin despite his condition.
He had followed the rest of the clan all the way back from the battlefield behind them; trailing behind slowly. With each pawstep he lost more and more blood; a crimson trail leading from where he left the bodies of Darkazure and Styx back here.
So much blood…
The others were gathered in the midst of the camp. Unnoticed the great black deputy halted at the border, slowly, painfully, laying down; his head falling between his bloodied paws.
A worthy cause that he fought until the bitter end to protect...
Even though I'm the sacrifice.

Amberstar shook her head, even after she'd asked the question. Nobody seemed seriously hurt, and she pinned her ears back, as if concentrating on the rock between her paws. Finally, she grimaced, and looked back up.
"Alright, alright, everybody tell me what happened after I explain what happend at the war," She said.
"We won, of course, Boneclan was too outnumbered. We may have won the war, but we've lost so many lives.." She lowered her head solemnly.
"I congratulate those who have finally made it, and you have my utmost thanks for following me into battle," She murmured.
Speaking of..
"Where's Blackheart?" She barked sharply. He was just with her a moment ago!

Onyx looked up from pondering her paws and glanced around, realizing she hadn't seen Blackheart go missing. Of course... he was stealthy like that, but now was not the best time to go missing. And he'd been dragging along pretty slowly behind them all, hadn't he? She'd glanced back to the field exactly once, and she thought she remembered seeing him.
"I think he must have fallen behind. Shouldn't we go back and find him? He didn't look very good," the little black she-cat remarked in answer Amberstar's question. That hind paw of her's which she'd been favoring rested on the ground. If Amberstar wanted or needed help, she didn't want to be left out just because of a silly twisted leg.

Lucky sat in the fray of cats, not saying a word. She wasn't her usually happy self. She sighed, thinking about all that happened. The smell of blood was on her breath. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make her feal unusually depressed. Memories started flooding back to her. Sniffing, she lay down right there, resting her head on her paws and looking up at her Leader. She resembled someone... but who? Looking slowly over her shoulder, she wondered if Takumi was ok. Sitting up, she almost stood up to leave, but she wondered if it would be rude. Laying back down again, she pricked her ears to hear all the battle tails.

Takumi was among the number of the guards, carrying back cob webs for the bleeding wounds of his clanmates... Because of his busy state, he did not prepare the small number of guards to accompany the return of their warriors. He had been to busy caring for Leopardnose, Wrenwing, and Lucky to even hear the approach of the patrol.
Bowing in his usual fashion, torso down, rump in the air, Takumi greeted his leader, before returning to his duties.

The little gray she-cat had followed the leader into this place. The kit had thought that everything would be lovely; warriors sharing tongues, apprentices practicing battle moves, and kits playing about, almost waiting for her to join in; but it wasn't. There were warriors covered in blood, and earth, and Treblekit trembled at the sight. A war?
Cowering down a little, she stalked towards Amberstar, seeking the feeling of protection, a bit shocked at the sights that lay before her. She wasn't afraid of looking like this no, but she was afraid for others that did look like this. What if they died? Having no clue where the Nursery was, she stayed about two tail-lengths away from Amberstar, her gray pelt shaking a little, but her ivy eyes looking determined, and happy to finally be in a Clan.
