Snowstar crept towards the Gathering, taking the boundaries around Mistclan borders to get there. After having two of her clanmates killed, including a blind warrior just a month ago, she was taking no chances.
... To give away her plan, of course. Of course, her clan mates should have known better than to give anything away, but even a fleeting glance could give it away. And Warfox looked about ready to tear apart anything that was called a 'rogue' and moved...
Finally, after several silent moments, the reached the floor just at the base of the great hill. She froze, watching it warily. She didn't want to be back here.. She didn't want to arrive at a Gathering at any rate... She flicked her tail irritably before charging up the side of the hill to claim the first clan to arrive at the gathering.

Warfox really was about ready to tear any Rogue apart... although, he wasn't ready to indiscriminately attack just any rogue. It'd have to be one of the one's who'd been around when Blindsong had died. Of course, anyone from his clan would note his obvious change in personality, but someone from the other clans? No, probably not. He was good at hiding things. All you had to do was be still and not speak, and he did that often enough anyway.
On second thought, there was a certain cat who would probably notice if he was that quiet. He grimaced and paused midstep. Alright, so maybe he'd have to just valiantly attempt to pretend nothing at all was wrong. He could do that too. He had to, in fact, because he was a deputy now... again. He knew the ropes.
Cool and collected, he trotted after Snowstar into the clearing and looked around curiously. He liked being in the first clan to get to the gathering.

Silverwhisker was so angry, and all the moreso, he was worried. Where could Chainless be? Even he didn't know that right now, she was dilivering his Kits to other Clans where they could be taken care of, and StoneClan would never know. All he wanted to do was sulk in peace in the Warriors Den. Not tired whatsoever, combing his energy with anger, the gray tom padded up to Warfox. So buddy, he said, forcing a smile, How does it feel being the Deputy of StoneClan? Was he angry with the orange tom? No. He was angry at Pinedark, slightly annoyed with Snowstar, and angry at himself for being angry. It was like the sky was falling, and right on top of his head.

Røckwell followed the others into the clearing, awe on his face; the White Hills were beautiful in this silver moonlight...
The siamese tom strayed from the group, taking in the mixed, strong scents of hundreds of cats. So many had passed through this clearing.
Suddenly, Røckwell froze. He closed his eyes, frowning. Get it together. He had not noticed before, but his Clan was keyed-up, on edge. He should be with them, and alert, rather than wandering and daydreaming.
Røckwell padded back to the group. After a moment, he found himself standing beside Silverwhisker. The tom looked bothered by something. Whether this cat knew about Røckwell's...peculiarity, or disliked him for it, Røckwell did not know. But he disliked seeing any cat in a bad mood. "You ok?" he asked quietly, tilting his head to one side, green eyes luminescent in the darkness.

Silverwhisker was try to talk to his friend, and a cat he didn't even know showed up! He was about to growl, but stopped. He figured the siamese was in his Clan, and was only trying to be friendly. He squinted at him for a bit. How can he be so happy? I'm fine, thanks, he said, as nice as he could at the time. I'm Silverwhisker, and you are? The tom didn't stop walking, nor did he slow his pace. He was trying to keep up with his Leader and his friend, and he didn't even know this cat!

"Chikara, thank you for asking," he smiled, coming up on the other side of Silverwhisker. Chikara trotted alongside the tom, giving a sigh. He could have fun with this...he wanted to be Silverwhisker's friend. He was tired of just being friends with the rest of the Gay Brigade; he wanted other friends. His tail flicked. Chikara suddenly thought - hadn't they just gotten back from a Gathering? Oh, wait, he was supposed to be excited. This was his first Gathering. He jumped forward, propelling himself with all four feet at the same time like that cartoon skunk. The French one. "Whee!" he meowed. "MyfirstGathering!" He stopped and padded calmly back to Silverwhisker.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Chikara mewed suspiciously, narrowing his eyes playfully. He wagged his tail happily, just like a dog. His ear flicked.

Dragonpelt followed his mate into the clearing with a stiff gait. His mind still replayed the horrible images of Blindsong's death every time someone even mentioned a Gathering. Returning to this place so soon after the carnage, was enough to make him sick. Regardless, he had a duty to his clan and his mate, so he sucked it up. Striding rigidly into the soft grass, he seated himself amongst his friends, hoping to have a quiet evening. My blood is pulsing like sugar on crack
Denali was unbelievably excited. After sitting in camp with virtually nothing to do for weeks, he was actually chosen to go to a Gathering! Then again, everyone seemed so terribly depressed about the deaths in the clan. He hadn't really known either cat, but being a friendly guy, he felt horrible that they had been killed. Nevertheless, he tried to remain upbeat for the sake of his clanmates.
Wandering over to RAckwell and Chikara, he plopped his multi-colored butt down and waited for the thing to start. Narrator was thankfully quiet for the time being...

Amberstar strode up the opposite side of the mountain as Stoneclan cats were getting situated. She gave Snowstar a careful look and bow of her massive head, her fluffy tail held high, her head bowed in a genial manner. "Evening Snowstar, I'm glad to see you came to this gathering," She said musingly, but was replied with a gentle grunt in response. Obviously the dark she-cat was deep in thought. She turned her head and nodded, a cue for the rest of her Treeclan cats to enter. She leaped up on the stone, tail swishing softly over the edge, ears leaned back in a fixed manner.

Quite annoyed now, with two cats unmercifally following him, the gray tom turned around and went to sit down. If those two wanted to follow him, that was their problem. He glanced quickly at Chikara. He seemed, awfully she-cat like to him. Silverwhisker shook his head. He was sure it was just his imagination.
Lucky looked around the clearing as she walked, taking it all in. It was downright beutiful, she just couldn't belive it! Only thing was, it was a time of sadness, grief, and war. She looked around for her friend Takumi. She knew he might be nervous, not totally fluent in English, so she turned and went back to see if he needed help fitting in. The poor siamese. Cute too.

[ Two things. One, not all gay people (or cats) are nessisarily feminine, just like not all females are prissy. It doesn't always work that way. ^^ Røckwell mostly acts normally.
Also, why do people keep writing Røckwell's name as 'Rackwell'? It really irritates me. o.o It's 'Røckwell', or, if you must, 'Rockwell.' Sorry. ^^' ]
Røckwell planted himself down directly before Silverwhisker, his green eyes wide in the darkness. He did not seem particularly troubled by Silverwhisker's obvious anger toward himself and Chikara.
But Røckwell could be oddly direct at times. He frowned slightly, and meowed in a gently chiding voice, "If you don't want us talking to you, then say so. Not every cat can read your mind, and no-one should be afraid of saying what they think."
True enough. Røckwell was proud of himself, peculiarities and all.

[yes; chikara is NOT feminine or girly. he's just gay. he likes other toms; that doesn't make him girly. he's quite manleh, actually. chi's just strange - even if he wasn't gay he'd act the same. he's happy and bouncy and everything, not girly.]

"It's not like it's terribly new," Warfox answered Silverwhisker just as another tom bounded up. Warfox didn't really know him, but he was supposed to be not obviously wanting to kill something. He grinned just slightly at the tom, a friendly grin that was actually genuine. He need not take his anger with others out on everyone around him- it wasn't really how he did things.
The other tom, the not-siamese one- Warfox thought he even knew this one's name, Chikara,- came bouncing up on Silverwhisker's other side, and Warfox watched quite unobtrusively as the three talked. Well, as the two toms talked and Silverwhisker stayed just this side of polite. Barely. Warfox stifled a frustrated sigh as the siamese tom put Silverwhisker in his place. Did the silver tom ever wonder if maybe he would quit getting people on his case if he would just be nice, and not let people get under his skin?
Maybe it was easier said than done. Either way, Warfox felt somewhat obligated to go join the little group of three. For one, he barely knew the two, and for the other... he didn't want Silverwhisker stalkng off in a huff and getting snapped at again. Talk about unnecessary drama.
"Hey, guys. I don't know either of you two, do I?" he said, looking at the two almost strangers in turn. He wasn't smiling, really, but he didn't look unwelcoming.

Ooc: I changed the mate part. I'm still not totally sure. Takumi and I didn't talk that much about it.
Silverwhisker shook his head. Sorry Rackwell, I just don't like people intruding. I was talking to you and someone else answered. He sighed, shuffling his paws worriedly. I... I just don't know... I just don't know if I can handle being in a Clan. His tail swished, and his ears twitched sadly. He wished his mate was here, she'd know what to do.
Lucky couldn't find Tukami. She was sure that the Japanese speaking cat would come and find her. She wanted to meet some cats. She trotted happily up to Silverwhisker, Warfox, Rackwell, and Chikira. Hi! she squeaked, I'm Lucky from TreeClan!
Silverwhisker looked up in surprise. His whiskers twitched irretibly when he saw the happy-go-lucky tabby in front of him. Gold with pink eyes? Strange. He narrowed his eyes at her, not taking them off of her. Be wary of everyone.
Quite surprised and hurt, Lucky stepped back a bit. Her tail waved warningly, the green band it waving proudly.

{{I'll repeat what Kest said (I think it was Kest), since you appear to not have read it. It's Rockwell or R(special character o)ckwell. Not Rackwell.}}Warfox looked over at the newcomer- the Treeclan cat. He watched her warily for a moment, tail tip curling and uncurling over his paws. She certainly smelled like Treeclan, so he was willing to give her that much. After all, it had been Rogues, not Clan cats, who had attacked the two Stoneclanners.
Silverwhisker was not quiiiiite pulling off the "don't act suspicious" thing, what with his glaring irritably at the she-cat. She had been perfectly civil, after all.
"Hullo. We're all Stoneclan- I'm Warfox. And I'm sure the others will introduce themselves as they see fit," he said finally with a polite nod of his head. He glanced up to the leaders' rock for no apparent reason. Then he looked back at the pink-eyed Treeclanner.
"Is this your first gathering?" he asked conversationally. He was quietly on guard- if this other cat had offered the slightest violence, he would have been on her in a second. But being on guard was no reason to be outright mean. Onyx slunk into the clearing along with the rest of her clan, looking around anxiously. Only Stoneclan was here, and a number of them- plus Lucky- were congregated over there. She considered for a moment going and joining the little group. It wasn't as if she could go find Blindsong and hang out with her as she'd done before.
Very hesitantly, head low and tail very nearly dragging the ground, she crept over to the little group, and sat there like a mute shadow, not saying hello- she'd ave interrupted either Lucky, or the angry looking silver cat's glaring match with Lucky, or the big orange cat's greeting Lucky. She didn't really want to interrupt anyone Maybe when they were all done with whatever they were doing, or if someone asked, she'd introduce herself.

Rockwell tilted his head in confusion. "No, I didn't inturrupt you...he'd...already answered, didn't he?" Silverwhisker's edginess and blalant hostility worried Rockwell, and when the new she-cat showed up, Rockwell gladly turned his attention to her. She was much more cheerful.
"I'm Rockwell!" he mewed in his friendly way. His name was pronounced with the 'o' sounding like the 'i' in 'bird', quite unusual.

zetsubou kara no hajimari te ni shlta kara ;;
A single cat padded up the hill, lithe and white-furred, patched with cool gray. Her mismatched eyes flashed cool blue and fierce yellow in the gloom.
Kestrel stepped gracefully onto Gathering grounds without a sound. On her way to where the other leaders were gathered, she paused beside Warfox. "I hear tell you're StoneClan's new deputy," she meowed quietly. "Congratulations." Then she continued on. She had a contact in StoneClan, an old friend who told her much of what went on there...well, much of any importance. And a new deputy was important to know about. After all, war could break out at any time, and it was good to know about your allies.
Kestrel nodded to her fellow leaders. "Amberstar, Snowstar," she meowed in greeting, sitting. "How fare your Clans?"

Lillystar marched her cats into the Gathering with what grace she could still muster after the last time she had been here. Feeling weighted by grief, it was hard to make her feathery paws fly in the usual manner. Her head was held high, but he tail drooped so low that it nearly dragged in the dust. Fearing for her Clan and tending to the matters of new members and two grievously wounded ones, her heart was torn between her duties to uphold her leadership and her duties to her fallen family.
Yowling for her cats to dissasemble and mingle for now, she leapt to the top of the rock.
"Evening Snowstar, Amberstar..." she mewed, rather reservedly. "Have we not had the pleasure of Bloodstar's arrival yet?" Her last question had an undertone of sarcasm to it. Then she noticed Kestrel and realized she'd been rude. "Oh, do excuse me, I didn't see you there Kestrel...my head's a bit full at the moment..."

Warfox looked almost startled as estrel came and greeted him as deputy. How had she known? Unless someone was telling her. The thought did not exactly put him at ease, but there was little he could do about it right now.
"Yes, ma'am, and thank you," he answered with the same nod of respect he would have given any clan leader. Had Kestrel not brought her clan with her? It was an interesting choice, but Warfox admired the logic behind it.

At least someone was nice. Lucky turned to face Warfox, and smiled. Hi Warfox! Yes this is my first Gathering! Which Clan are you from? I'm from the Tribe of Glistening Sand! Oops! I mean, I'm from TreeClan. The gold she-cat giggled nervously. She was still having trouble remembering that she wasn't in the Tribe anymore. She didn't even know why she wore her green band and told other cats that she was an Empress To-be. It wasn't like they gave her any more respect. She saw Onyxdart come over, and waved her tail in hello. The green band around it waved in the air. She looked at it, sadness in her eyes. Lucky partially missed her island home. Then she shook her head and shut her eyes. She was TreeClan now. She looked back at the cats and swepped her gaze over them. And this is my friend Onyxdart! She looked from Silverwhisker, to Chikara, to Rockwell, to Warfox. Maybe they could talk a little before the Gathering started, and maybe one, just one of them would be interested in hearing about her island home. Takumi could help too, if he ever found her. He had been on the island longer than she had, but being royal blood, she had to train to be the Empress of the Tribe.
