Amber hues blinked, his gaze shifting as two new cats slipped into camp. It was amusing, really, Sunsetfire had called this meeting to discuss their future with those who were already a part of his clan, and promote a few cats who deserved it.
However, while there were a few members gathered – more and more newcomers padded from the underbrush. Were these two seeking admittance? Or merely a place to rest their weary paws?
“Hello there!”
His call in return to the cheerful calico tom was good-natured and friendly, but when the queen padded in with Highway the golden tom turned his gaze on her, giving her a polite nod.
“And I bid greetings to you as well she-cat.”
His white-tipped tail flicked, once, and he gave all the cats gathered a determined smile.
“I ask you two who have just entered the camp – could you please give me your names and reasons for being here?”
That fiery gaze lifted, searching the edges of the camp as if to see if more newcomers would show up and cause this meeting longer to get underway.

"Straighten up and fly right, kid."
Quint was not shy. He had no reason to feel nervous around cats who weren't trying to kill him. He was smart, skilled, good-looking, and was quite a nice guy, if he did say so himself. Why feel insecure?
He padded forward to stand before Sunsetfire, his aqua eyes glowing with a jovial light. He gave a dramatic bow, meowing, "I, my fiery-eyed friend, am called Quintessence."
Then he looked up, meeting the leader's gaze with his good-natured one. "Quite a mouthful, eh? That is why I am usually known as Quint. I seek to join your Clan, and uphold a, eh, promise I made to a dear friend of mine."

I uh, got tired of waiting. So if SParrowpaw doesn't show up soemtime in the near future, Jay can always go back out.
Jaysong was heading back towards camp, having become separated from Sparrowpaw earlier. He was a bit miffed with the younger cat, and hoped he'd show up sooner or later, but for right now, camp was probably the best place to be. Slowing a bit, he corrected his direction for the general direction of his leader's voice, which was easily enough heard from nearby.
He wasn't a whole lot of subtle about entering the camp, but he wasn't loud about it either. He glanced to Sunsetfire.
"Sorry I'm late. Anybody seen Sparrowpaw? I was following him, but then I lost him," he said, a bit worried in spite of himself.

From near the mother cat who he had convinced to return, Highway turned his head to take a look at Jaysong. It had been a while since their last crossing – after all, they’ve been a busy group of cats since entering this land.
“I’ve not seen him. Verzeihen sie mir, have you seen Puffin or Unlucky?”
The two she-cats hadn’t made an appearance either. Maybe the three were off hunting together or something of that sort.

Harlequin looked at the youthful leader. His coat were close in shade to her patches, she noticed. But more vibrant, with more life somehow. His voice held strength, his eyes a flame of determination. How did he attain this, in his regal bearing, at such a young age? It was both very powerful and very sad. Harlequin sat down and licked her chest fur self-consciously. How would she do as a mother? What would her kits be like in the future? Her chest tightened, and she wished for Jasper in an almost disgustingly desperate fashion. She could do this alone. Yeah right, said a nasty little voice in the back of her head, we know how well that went last time. But she forced herself to have her head with the rest of the meeting.
Yo're missing some members, young Fire-Eyes? she said, addressing her new leader with the utmost respect despite his age. Normally she was a good tracker, but she didn't think it wise to go tramping about the countryside in her current condition. She settled herself anyway. I'm sure you j'ave capable cats, j'oe, she continued. So what's j'is meeting about? Harlequin felt the need to be an active part of the meeting. To put in her share.

Sunsetfire had been hoping that the she-cat queen would speak up, but the rather enthusiastic begging of the newest arrival set him back a bit. A low chuckle escaped his muzzle, as he looked her over.
“Miss, the least that you could please do is tell us gathered here today your name before such a decision is made.”
He didn’t say yes or no…not yet.
Gaze shifted, and warmth flickered through his fiery gaze when he saw Jaysong.
“It is good to see you here, Jaysong! Late or no, at least you made it, right?”
The young leader had a humorous streak – he wasn’t all leadership and rules. That steady, burning gaze moved, falling on Quint.
“A promise? Ah, it is not my place to pry, and nor will I do so. However, I hope that one day you’ll feel comfortable enough to share it.”
So this tom wanted to join? Those were the words he uttered, and Sunsetfire’s strong gaze didn’t waver.
“You will be formally accepted within this clan here in a moment.”
Then the gaze moved, yet again, falling on the pregnant queen, Harlequin.
“A few, yes. However, they’ll probably join us here soon. And as for your question, I shall get to that here in just a moment, alright?”
A wink, a mischievous glint in blazing amber hues, and then he looked out over all the gathered cats.
“To those new here, I am Sunsetfire, leader of Stealthclan. I have called this meeting today to appoint ranks…and to discuss this clan’s future!”
His bold voice rang out, over the stillness, the silence, of the cats before him. His golden fur shone bright, as the light of the sun struck it. A shining beacon, maybe?
“We linger here, a world away from worlds, away from the four clans and the two rogue clans. While the clans go about their lives, Boneclan murders and kills cats senselessly; seeking blood and violence upon the good cats of this valley. So I ask those here now – will we stand aside and allow those cats turn this valley into a lake of blood, shed by innocent lives lost? Or will we stand up, stand strong, fight against them, fight for what is right?”

"Straighten up and fly right, kid."
Quint flicked his tail nonchalantly, meowing, "My old friend merely requested that I 'straighten up and fly right'. I intend to keep my promise." Then a pleased light came to his aqua eyes, and he bowed in respect and gratitude. "And thank you, Sunsetfire of StealthClan, for your kindness."
He leaped away and padded to sit in the center of camp, glancing around curiously. There was an open, earnest look on his handsome face; he was an honest cat, ex-thief or not.
He was excited. What a place to be!
Quintessence listened.

Zeporah settled near the edge of camp, putting enough distance between her and the rock to where the young tom, Sunsetfire was it?, sat, and enough space between her and the bushes behind to not appear rude. She placed the offering at her feet, using a forepaw to wipe a few feathers from her mouth, before she errected herself. She sat, a regal aura seeming to encompass her form like the wise eldest feline would. Patiently, not at all minding the disruptions from the young cats, Zeporah waited. Afterall, she wouldn\'t have to answer if he forgets she was there. And that, he did.
Within moments of answering their questions, he resumed the meeting at hand. Through it all, Zeporah looked impassive, though she was troubled. This wasn\'t the first time she heard of this... Boneclan, and her impressions of the queen she had met representing this clan still sent her fur on end. She truely hated that queen, and the clan she came from, but not enough to consider helping this clan to annihilate their existence, especially since she had kits to take care of... Still... To sink her claws into that annoying wench would be quite thrilling... to say the least.

Ah, but Sunsetfire had not forgotten about her. That fiery gaze, so old on a face so young, momentarily fell once again on her. He nodded slightly, once, towards her – a invitation to step up and speak, and he continued to wait for the reactions, wait for the gathered felines to speak up, to place in their say. Sunsetfire wasn’t a leader who didn’t listen to the cats in his clan, after all.

From near Zeporah, Highway suddenly leapt to his paws, his leader’s fire mirroring in his eyes.
“I say we fight. We get rid of the Evil, and the Good shall watch over this valley!”
Highway was gripped, he felt like this was one of the battles of old the good Father read to him from the Good Book before he passed on. The young tom suddenly realized he had spoken out loud, and he grinned sheepishly before sitting down.

A tiny, young, gray and white she-kit nuzzled her mother's foreleg's ankle as her belly growled with hunger. So many scents of other cats! They overwhelmed her. Reflection mewled helplessly, wordlessly, as she raked her gaze in fright over the other - much older - cats. Her baby-blue eyes were wide with both terror and hunger.
Reflection twined herself around Zeporah's foreleg, purring. A strange quirk about the tiny she-kit was that she did not, in fact, purr when she was happy or amused. She purred when she was sad, or afraid. Instead of purring when she was happy, then, what did she do? Aha. Instead of purring, she twitched her ears and her tail wagged slowly.
"Mother," Reflection cried. She looked around for her brothers and sisters, purring louder now. "Mother?" Her mews went unanswered for a few heartbeats. She listened to the older cats conversing determinedly. What were they speaking about? The gray and white she-kit had no idea what was going on, so she curled up between her mother's forelegs and listened intently.

"HOLY SHIZNIT."
The black and white feline was standing at the edge of the clearing, her paws spread in a surprised stance. Gah! What had she missed?! Dammit! Why must she sleep like a log? Ugh! Good thing Puffin had woken her up. She looked to her sister, who now stood by her side, already purring. She was always happy, it seemed. Silly Puffin. Gray-blue orbs returned to looking at the gathered cats, and she flicked and ear nervously as the guilt of being lazy gnawed at her heart.
"Maaann.... We suck. C'mon, lets hurry over there."
The chubby manx purred her heart out, trying to comfort her sister. With a nod at her words, Puffin romped forward, eyes bright with her bubbly personality. There were new cats here! Yay! More friends! She'd had to meet with them later, yes, yes she would. The sea-going kitty skidded to a halt a little behind the group, and rised her gaze respectfully up to Sunsetfire, her noble leader.
Unlucky bounded after her sister, tail rised yet tip twitching with nervousness. She hoped she wouldn't be in trouble! She hated being in trouble. When she was nearing Puffin, she lifted her head and opened her maw.
"Gah! We're so sorry! IsleptinandsodidPuffinbutthenshewokeup! Andthenshewokemeupandwecameouthereandthiswashappening... We'resosorryandI'llstoptalkingnow."
Her words were said incredibly fast, and by the time she had finished, she was sitting next to her sister, tail curled unneatly around her paws, a worried expression on her face.
... Which was promply swatted at by Puffin.
And a small giggle of a purr was sounded, and a glare was given.
Ah, sibling love.

Destniy's eyes clouded with unseen pain. One single tear landed on her flute making it tingle.PUting it up in her mouth she played a small toon she taught herself.Sad but beautiful she played that fulte for a while her eyes closed and tears building up. "Fate and Destniy need each other to live."Her bule eyes opened as her song ended and she sat down, her chin on her muddy front paws.

Jay grinned at the two sisters as they arrived. He stood and went over to them, headbutting Puffin in the shoulder playfully.
"We were wondering where you two were. So Sparrowpaw wasn't with you two? I... lost him. I can't imagine how... except there was some running going on, but... how do you /lose/ someone?" he said. He wasn't too worried about interrupting Sunsetfire. This was relevant after all, right? Jay was worried about the younger cat, that much was clear. So that made it important.
Still, it was nice to see everyone here, again.

Fiery amber eyes shifted, moving from the tiny kit near the one queen who’d yet to introduce herself, to the late Puffin and Unlucky, to Jaysong, back to Puffin and Unlucky. There was a touch more warmth in his already warm gaze when it settled on Puffin, but then again, he had always been very fond of her.
She brought such life to the clan, after all.
“Puffin, Unlucky, it is quite alright. You made it. That is what matters.”
His attention returned to Jaysong.
“I’ll have a search mounted after this meeting for Sparrowpaw, alright?”
Although he wouldn’t be a part of the search…allegiances had to be made. And he had to be the one to go to do such a thing.
At this rate…would this meeting ever be over. With a mental sigh, the golden leader called once again.
“All those newcomers here who are aspiring to be Stealthclan cats, please step forward. Those newcomers who need more time to think over it, to decide, you are welcome to remain here as long as you feel need to.”
Right, let’s get this over with, then rankings of his longer members, and then....
Well, he would call a special meeting later to discuss matters with Stealthclan. Maybe it wouldn’t be so chaotic then.

"Straighten up and fly right, kid."
Quintessence was the first of the newcomers to step forward. He did so boldly, with his head up and his sharp aqua eyes cool and certain. "I would like to stay here and fight BoneClan with you, StealthClanners," the handsome calico tom said loudly, his voice amiable on the surface, but beneath, absolutely serious.

A small tabby figure entered the group of cats, weaving through each individual until he reached the front.
"Sunsetfire?"
The young tom had heard of the leader of the newest rogue Clan - StealthClan.
He sat slowly and delicately, his green-yellow orbs staring into Sunsetfire's the whole while.
"I am Nifty. Welcome me into StealthClan?"

Harlequin looked around at the assembled cats. The cats of StealthClan, old and new. Including the late arrivals, she thought bemusedly. They seemed a powerful group, strong in mind and spirit; someday her children would be part of it. Harley stepped to the front. I would be honored to stay in StealthClan and have my kits be StealthClanners as well. She felt the kits squirm in her belly as if in agreement. She smiled. It would be nice to have a home again.
