Dragonpelt wathced as his mate was called away to recieve some important news.
"You'd better give her back soon Featherstar!" he shouted, feigning anger and chuckling a little. "I'm not nearly through loving her up yet!" He noticed the little kit wandering from the camp and called after it, "Hey where are you going little one?" When the kit didn't respond Dragonpelt excused himself from Blindsong and ran after it.

Snowstripe padded from the den, a more of a brighter spring to her step. She heard his voice and gave a loud laugh, it more melodic and her eyes just a bit more brighter. He darted off, and realized with a smile it was to tend to an escaping kit. She decided to wait for his return before telling him.

Dragonpelt was unaware of his mate's comings and goings as he was trying to find the little kit that had wandered away before something else did.
"Hey, little kit come back, you shouldn't wander from the camp without a warrior!" he called to Lostpaw, not knowing that that was the kit's name.

Brindlepaw chuckled at Dragonpelt, chasing after the small kit. She lept atop the small ledge that hung over her crevice hiding spot. It was level, warm, and big enough for a cat of her size to lounge on. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to doze in the afternoon sun, the rock collecting the heat as well. As she drifted into a light sleep, she found herself walking along in the dark night, but she didnt recognize it as StoneClan's territory. What was that? She had seen a shooting star, it was as if a warrior had fallen from SilverPelt and was walking towards her. And it was! The cat was a noble looking tom, and even though his pelt dazzled silver like all of SilverPelt, she couldnt help but notice that it was once the color of fire. It couldn't be! The cat that she told so many stories about, about a time even before her mother was born.......Her mother had always been so proud when she told her about their kin...Brindlepaw and her mother and siblings as well were decendants of the great and noble ThnderClan cat. Firestar... She just barely breathed the single word. Firestar smiled warmly and nodded, comfirming her thoughts. But...why have you come to me? I'm no medicine cat. Because, young one, StarClan knows that you are destined for great things. Good Bye for now Brindlepaw...I'll be watching you carefully... He then smiled again and turned, appearing to run until he dissapeared. Wait! Brindlepaw yelled to the stars, seeing one more star re-enter SilverPelt as Firestar returned, What do you mean? Destined for what? She looked to the heavens for a moment longer, Firstar's star seemed to wink, and she sighed. How could she be destined for great things? Sure, she thought pretty highly of herself, but she never thought she'd here something like that from a long-passed Clan leader. She never even thought she'd talk to a member of StarClan until it was her time to move on. As she pondered, she slowly came back to the StoneClan camp, awaking to the warm sun. Brindlepaw lifted her head, looking around...the dream seemed so real...did Firestar really visit her in her dreams? She stood and shook her pelt, stretching her stiff legs, arching her back in a strecth.

Brindlepaw felt awfully fidgety all of a sudden, rolling over on her perch, making it so she slunk down upside-down, landing front paws first and back paws flopping down behind her, tail swishing anxiously. She turned around and trotted to the fresh-kill pile...she made a mental note that it was getting smaller, maybe she could hunt later or train with Snowstripe? She felt like going on an adventure...maybe with another apprentice, the thought of an adventure made her pelt tingle, even though she had been in StoneClan for quite a bit, she had not seen the full extent of the territory. She picked a vole out of the pile and layed down to eat.

Featherstar came out of her den and sat beside her new deputy,Snowstripe, I'll announce this to the clan when you've told Dragonpelt, if you like. I know you must want him to know. The tabby smiled, saw Dragonpelt chasing after Lostpaw and called, Lostpaw, come here! Dragonpelt, you too. I have something to ask you. Then she spoke to Snowstripe again, Would you like to take our apprentices hunting or to the training area after I make the announcement? We don't have to, just asking. Featherstar didn't want the she-cat to think, just because Featherstar was leader, that she was forcing her to do anything. The brown cat didn't like to be forceful, even if she was the leader of the Clan.

Lostpaw froze, amazed cats even noticed he was leaving. Turning around, he noticed a tom right on his tail. He was curious as to why he had started to come after him. It's not like he liked Lostpaw, cared about him, or even knew him. Then he figured it out.
That's what being in a Clan was about. Worrying over cats you might not even know because they're part of your Clan-- your family. With an interested glance towards Dragonpelt, he looked to see who had called him by name.
He gasped. It was Featherstar! He had thought she'd disappeared. The blue kit was fantasically delighted to see her; he darted past the tom to her side. He gave a high-pitched mrow in response to her callings.

Indeed, Featherstar. I wish to tell Dragonpelt, and i'd be more than happy to bring the apprentices out for hunting. I'll supervise them. She said with a wide grin, tail flicking and she padded past Lostpaw as he darted towards Featherstar to greet her mate and tell him the news.

Dragonpelt saw the kit named Lostpaw dart back to their leader, so he decided he would turn around. When Featherstar suddenly called him as well, he doubled his speed back to the camp. He nuzzled his mate as she drew close and sat a little ways back with her as he waited for one of them to speak.
"So love...what's your news...oh and what about you Featherstar?" he asked.

She looked like she was going to toy with him, to hide a secret, but suddenly she blurted out with intense amazement! Dragonpelt! I'm deputy now! I'm deputy of Stoneclan! She smiled brightly, tail flicking. I can resign my post temporarily when we decide to have kits! She flicked her tail. Isn't it amazing?!

[Random OOC Moment: Woo, now I get to RP three characters at the Gathering. ^^ Oh, Kaze has reached apprentice age and will be apprenticed soon, so whenever you want to take over RP'ing as him, Feather-kun, is just dandy. ^^]

Dragonpelt grinned and nuzzled his mate affectionately. He was so happy for her.
"That's just glorious love!" he nearly shouted, a glow in his eyes. Then more quietly he added, "Let's discuss the time for kits once we get back from the Gathering..." Then he followed their leader out.
