The weather was cooling down, especially since she was growing into the shade of the trees along the river. Her ash coat was dappled as the fading light fell through the canopy onto her back, now cooling off. The trek was tiring, especially since her almost lethal poison she'd drinken not that long before her trek.. She was only cured with the help of a new fond friend. Dragonpelt.
Her mind cleared as the boundy scents grew heavier and heavier in her nostril.. Oh she hoped a patrol would come soon! She dropped the fresh kill she brought along.. A gift to Treeclan for tresspassing on their territory. She'd thought of the idea along the way.. She needed the information. She turned, knowing the other two cats were not far behind. She mewed a friendly greeting into the forest and listened to it echo across the foresty terrain

Dragonpelt heard Snowstripe's mew and bounded ahead of the other cats, nothing but a multi-colored blur in front of their noses. When he reached the Stoneclan/Treeclan boundry he stopped and looked right at Snowstripe.
"I decided to join you!" he said, giving her a cocky smile.

She seemed shocked as a recognizable face shot what seemed like in front of her nose as he bolted past the rest of the marauders. She smiled sweetly to him, tail flicking softly to herself as it coiled around her ashen and snowy feet. Good, good! The more the merrier! She quoted brightly, seeming a little nieve in saying so. Either way, she seemed pleased he accompanied her.

Dragonpelt butted her playfully in the side with his head.
"So do you think this clan will answer our summons?" he asked, still smiling despite their seriousness of their conference.

She mewed as she swung down and sat upon her rump and laughed. Yes, they're bound to come when they smell other clan over here.. But hopefully they are not hostile. Personally, I don't want to be bitten and clawed for doing my duty. She nudged the mouse. That's why I brought an offering.

“Heh, even with the offering we’d still probably be chased off. Especially if that large black tom’s leading the patrol. He’s grumpy.”
Loveless swore – he remembered how the tom had swiped at him the Gathering before last. However, he nudged both Dragonpelt and Snowstripe in a friendly gesture, and looked into the distance.
“But hey, there may be more of us then them!”
He said with a joking air, lightening the mood.

She smiled humourously at the bumbling black and white cat. Oh, how they needed a cat like him in dark times like this! Similar was her coat, an ashen and snowy coat, she turned and stood. Oh, yes! Definitly.. Hopefully he'd have enough patience. He probably has specific orders not to kill us, or at least no command at all. I'm sure they're not expecting us. She sighed and peered over her shoulder. She hoped they'd come soon..

“I hope he wouldn’t kill us.”
Loveless had the funniest expression on his face – hey! Who wanted to die?
“That…would be sad.”

Indeed it would be.. She said awkwardly. She was quite the fearless cat, but she had a certain fear of death.. Like it was an ominous disease. At least Starclan was there for her when it was her time to pass... Snowstripe looked up and picked her ears like radars.

Blackheart traveled the now much familiar paths on his clan’s territory; tail held high. He kept his pace brisk, ground-eating, but not too hard to put any strain what-so-ever on Maplepaw. However, the large black tom froze, ears pricked forward. Intruders! He hissed softly, ears flattening, and slowly stalked towards the motley group of cats.
“Who are you? And what do you think you are doing on Treeclan territory?!”

The ashen she-cat leapt to her feet and automatically nudged the dead mice forward; an offering to Treeclan. We are Stoneclan warriors... We beg your forgiveness for tresspassing- She indicated the mice But my leader must know what is going on with this Boneclan.. It is important information, and may mean the welfare of the four clans. She took a breath before continuing.
The large black tom had sent an uncomfortable tingle from nose to tail tip. She grimaced and sat down, trying to calm down. Please, I apologize to you and your leader. Our own leader, Featherstar, is very keen to know what is going on

Should he trust them? They were from another clan, possible enemies. And Blackheart’s duty was to protect his clan.
“You presence here will remain at this spot. You will travel no further into Treeclan territory.”
He sat down – yellow hues narrowing at the sight of the mice. For the Stoneclan cats’ sake, they better not have been caught on Treeclan terra; whether or not they were an offering. There was still such a thing as manners.
“Indeed, this news has come as quite a shock to us all. As clan deputy, I had volunteered to go to your clan to deliver a message. However…since you are here, this will do as well.”
Yellow orbs fell on the she-cat, the spokes-cat for the little band of Stoneclanners.
“One of our own cats turned traitor, that is how we learned of the murderous Boneclan. They reside in the south side of Rogue Meadows, at the north end of Duskclan. We send you a warning, with hopes we may demolish the illegal clan.”
He nodded his head, frowning when he spotted Loveless, the young tom that sent warning flares through his mind.

Snowstripe turned a furtive glance at the cat behind her. Loveles.. What did this black cat have against him? She looked down at her paws, and noticed with a sigh of relief nobody had crossed the boundaries. Her eyes seemed to flicker just to a sense of hurt, but returned to their business-like expression.
I'm truly sorry for your traitorous loss. It hurts when one you trusted turns their back on you... And Stoneclan appreciates your attempt to come out here to deliver the message, and only grateful you didn't have to travel so far. Snowstripe spoke with a calm sense of dignity and grace, her voice and tone brisk but cordially polite. She didn't really seem to like the black cat much.. Especially by the way he was looking at Loveless like that. But he was doing his job in protecting his clan.. She was sorry they hadn't come across him first.
She cleared her head and nodded. The message will be repeated to my leader, in those exact words. She stated simply, tail flicking softly.

“Agreed.”
Blackheart twitched one ear slightly, before dipping his muzzle.
“Do you have any message more for me to deliver to Amberstar?”
His fierce hues had removed themselves from Loveless – what bugged him about the young tom would have to wait until business was over. His words had not meant to be rude, or to inspire hurt to the Stoneclan cats. Blackheart was merely defending Treeclan terra, even if the Stoneclan cats had come in peace.

Snowstripe considered his offer with deep thought. No, I apologize. Featherstar has sent no other messages for Stoneclan to send to Treeclan. Even as fierce as the black tom was, she couldn't help but respect and admire him for his loyalty to his clan, even though Treeclan and Stoneclan were on the less hostile terms. She blinked softly and flicked her tail softly and looked up at Blackheart. Was there anymore news that was to be sent during the Gathering, which was sadly cut short?

“Two kits have been apprenticed. And a she-cat had successively delivered a healthy group of kits. That, I believe, is all.”
Blackheart couldn’t think of any other news that Amberstar would wish to share…except that she had appointed him as her deputy, but that wasn’t anything overly interesting to report.
A sudden thought flared in the tom’s mind. Was Amberstar considering an alliance with Stoneclan? It was a fair possibility; both clans would do far better if they pooled their strengths than fight against Boneclan alone. However, he kept such thoughts to himself, to share with Amberstar when they returned to camp.
“And what of Stoneclan? Any new news to impart?”

She had to keep it cordial, but she gave it a good thought before answering.. As she always did nowadays. We've grown in numbers by far, and we are flourishing. Times are harsh for all the clans, and therefore Featherstar has not time to apprentice and kits, or raise anybodies ranks. She said softly. Her words were spoken true, but she kept it to small talk. Treeclan and Stoneclan were on similar terms, however she knew better than to reveal the secrets to the other clan. You never knew what they were ever planning.

Brindlepaw had arrived when the black cat had showed up, she had taken her time, and had fallen into place with her clanmates silently. She could tell that the TreeClan cat was holding information back...But it wasn't Brindlepaw's place to instigate...she would be just as defensive if it were her speaking of StoneClan. Her tail swung back in forth in eagerness.
