Why????

[Shadow Spirit]

Shadowstreak paused as she felt the cold stuff hit her fur. She shivered and shook the coating of frost off before it melted and chilled her fur. As she looked up her vision of the sky was obscured by many thick, white bits. She smiled, because despite the cold it brought, snow was something she loved.

"You silly kit, this is what you are named for!" she said, gazing up at the thickening fall. "Or a cousion of it at the very least...this is snow and typically comes every leaf-bare!" She mewed happily and ran off into the growing coating of frosty wonder.

Icepaw watched as the snow fell on her fur.

"Snow? I'm named after freez'n cold white flakes that fall from the sky?" Icepaw paused "What do you do with it?"

She padded around,

"Look! It leaves a trail! It should make it easy to find the tracks of prey." She paused and stumbled up to her mentor's side. "Even if it makes the prey harder to sent."

Shadowstreak nodded to her apprentice.

"But don't forget, it also leaves a trail to you...so you must be especially wary of predators in leaf-bare..." she warned. Then she crouched and stalked into the bushes, scenting a pigeon.

Icepaw nodded and watched her mentor stalk her prey. Icepaw didn't recognize the sent and wondered what kind of prey it was. I'll find out soon enough she though to her self and swiveled her ears in the direction of Shadowstreak.

Shadowstreak's head darted up when she heard the yowl of her leader. Pausing to figure out which direction it had come from, she turned back toward the camp.

"Icepaw, follow me, Lillystar is calling for a meeting!" she said and then bolted back to the waterfall, hopeful that she would not miss what her leader had to say.

OOC: I assume she would follow Shadowstreak back and then you can post in the "main camp" thread called "(Urgent) Will you join me?" Ok?
